Bible Mutal (Kosraean)
1And some coming down from Judea, taught the brethren: That except you be circumcised after the manner of Moses, you cannot be saved.
1Oasr kutu mwet tuku liki acn Judea nu Antioch, ac mutawauk in luti mwet lulalfongi uh ac fahk, “Kowos fin tia kosrkosrla oana ke fwackyak in Ma Sap lal Moses, kowos tia ku in moliyukla.”
2And when Paul and Barnabas had no small contest with them, they determined that Paul and Barnabas, and certain others of the other side, should go up to the apostles and priests to Jerusalem about this question.
2Paul ac Barnabas akukuin na upa nu selos kac, ouinge wotla mu Paul, Barnabas ac kutu mwet in Antioch in som nu Jerusalem ac osun yurin mwet sap ac mwet kol lun church we ke sripa se inge.
3They therefore being brought on their way by the church, passed through Phenice, and Samaria, relating the conversion of the Gentiles; and they caused great joy to all the brethren.
3Mwet in church supwalosla, ac ke elos fahsr sasla Phoenicia ac Samaria elos srumun lah mwet pegan elos forla nu sin God. Pweng se inge arulana akenganye mwet lulalfongi nukewa.
4And when they were come to Jerusalem, they were received by the church, and by the apostles and ancients, declaring how great things God had done with them.
4Ke elos sun acn Jerusalem, mwet in church we ac mwet sap ac mwet kol lun church elos paingulos, na elos fahkak ma nukewa God El tuh kasrelos in oru.
5But there arose some of the sect of the Pharisees that believed, saying: They must be circumcised, and be commanded to observe the law of Moses.
5Tusruktu kutu mwet lulalfongi ma wi u lun mwet Pharisee elos tuyak ac fahk, “Mwet pegan elos enenu na in kosrkosrla, ac kowos in lotelos tuh elos in akos Ma Sap lal Moses.”
6And the apostles and ancients assembled to consider of this matter.
6Mwet sap ac mwet kol uh elos tukeni nu sie in nunku ke ma se inge.
7And when there had been much disputing, Peter, rising up, said to them: Men, brethren, you know, that in former days God made choice among us, that by my mouth the Gentiles should hear the word of the gospel, and believe.
7Tukun elos sramsram kac ke pacl na loes, Peter el tuyak ac fahk, “Mwet lili luk, kowos etu na lah God El tuh suleyula inmasrlowos ke pacl na loes somla, tuh nga in fahkak ke Pweng Wo nu sin mwet pegan, tuh elos in ku in lohng ac lulalfongi.
8And God, who knoweth the hearts, gave testimony, giving unto them the Holy Ghost, as well as to us;
8Ac God, su etu nunak lun mwet nukewa, El akkalemye lah oasr insewowo lal yurin mwet pegan ke El sang Ngun Mutal nu selos, oana ke El tuh ase nu sesr.
9And put no difference between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith.
9El tia oru mu oasr ekla inmasrlolos ac kut, a ke sripen elos lulalfongi, El aknasnasyalos liki ma koluk lalos.
10Now therefore, why tempt you God to put a yoke upon the necks of the disciples, which neither our fathers nor we have been able to bear?
10Na inge, efu ku kowos ke srike God ke kowos filiya sie ma toasr nu fin mwet lulalfongi uh, su mwet matu lasr ac kut sifacna tia ku in us?
11But by the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, we believe to be saved, in like manner as they also.
11Mo! Kut lulalfongi ac moliyukla ke sripen kulang lun Leum Jesus, oapana elos.”
12And all the multitude held their peace; and they heard Barnabas and Paul telling what great signs and wonders God had wrought among the Gentiles by them.
12U nufon sac mislana ke Barnabas ac Paul srumun ma usrnguk nukewa ac mwenmen ma God El oru kacltal inmasrlon mwet pegan.
13And after they had held their peace, James answered, saying: Men, brethren, hear me.
13Ke eltal kaskas tari, na James el kasla ac fahk, “Mwet lili luk, kowos porongeyu!
14Simon hath related how God first visited to take of the Gentiles a people to his name.
14Simon el tufahna aketeya nu sesr luman nunak lun God nu sin mwet pegan uh, ke El eisla kutu selos tuh elos in mwet lal.
15And to this agree the words of the prophets, as it is written:
15Kas lun mwet palu arulana akkeye nunak se inge. Oana ke Ma Simusla uh fahk,
16After these things I will return, and will rebuild the tabernacle of David, which is fallen down; and the ruins thereof I will rebuild, and I will set it up:
16‘Leum God El fahk, Tukun ma inge nga ac fah sifil foloko, Ac sifil tulokunak Tokosrai lal David. Nga fah sifil musaela acn ma musalla kac ah, Ac oru tuh in ku oana meet ah.
17That the residue of men may seek after the Lord, and all nations upon whom my name is invoked, saith the Lord, who doth these things.
17Ouinge mwet lula nukewa fah tuku nu yuruk, Ac mwet pegan nukewa su nga pangnolos tuh elos in mwet luk.
18To the Lord was his own work known from the beginning of the world.
18Pa inge ma Leum El fahk, su akkalemye ma inge in pacl loeloes somla.’”
19For which cause I judge that they, who from among the Gentiles are converted to God, are not to be disquieted.
19Na James el sifilpa fahk, “Nunak luk uh pa kut in tia filiya ma toasr nu fin mwet pegan su forla nu sin God.
20But that we write unto them, that they refrain themselves from the pollutions of idols, and from fornication, and from things strangled, and from blood.
20A kut in simusla sie leta nu selos, ac fahk mu elos in tia kang kutena mwe mongo ma tia nasnas ke sripen kisakinyuk nu ke ma sruloala, oayapa elos in tia kang kutena kosro ma loksakla, ku kutepacna ma oasr srah kac. Ac elos in liyalosyang liki ouiya fohkfok lun orek kosro.
21For Moses of old time hath in every city them that preach him in the synagogues, where he is read every sabbath.
21Tuh ke pacl na loeloes, Ma Sap lal Moses uh ritiyuk in iwen lolngok uh ke len Sabbath nukewa, ac kas lal uh lutiyuk in siti nukewa.”
22Then it pleased the apostles and ancients, with the whole church, to choose men of their own company, and to send to Antioch, with Paul and Barnabas, namely, Judas, who was surnamed Barsabas, and Silas, chief men among the brethren.
22Na mwet sap ac mwet kol uh, wi pac mwet nukewa in church, elos insesela in sulela kutu sin mwet inmasrlolos, ac supwalosla nu Antioch welul Paul ac Barnabas. Elos sulela mwet luo ma yohk akilenya sin mwet lulalfongi uh: elos pa Judas su pangpang Barsabbas, ac Silas.
23Writing by their hands: The apostles and ancients, brethren, to the brethren of the Gentiles that are at Antioch, and in Syria and Cilicia, greeting.
23Elos sang leta se inge eltal in us: “Kut, mwet wiowos — mwet sap ac mwet kol in acn se inge — kut lungse paing kowos nukewa su mwet wiasr ma isusla mwet pegan, su muta in siti Antioch, oayapa acn Syria ac Cilicia.
24Forasmuch as we have heard, that some going out from us have troubled you with words, subverting your souls; to whom we gave no commandment:
24Kut lohng tari lah oasr kutu mwet yenu fahsrot akfohsyekowosyak ke kas lalos. Tusruktu tia kut pa supwalos uh.
25It hath seemed good to us, being assembled together, to choose out men, and to send them unto you, with our well beloved Barnabas and Paul:
25Ke ma inge kut nukewa aetuila ac insese in sulela kutu mwet in utuk kas lasr nu suwos. Elos ac wi mwet kawuk saok lasr, Barnabas ac Paul,
26Men that have given their lives for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
26su tuh pilesrala moul lalos in kulansupu Leum Jesus Christ.
27We have sent therefore Judas and Silas, who themselves also will, by word of mouth, tell you the same things.
27Kut supwaot nu suwos mwet inge, Judas ac Silas, su ac fah sifacna fahk nu suwos ma kut simis inge.
28For it hath seemed good to the Holy Ghost and to us, to lay no further burden upon you than these necessary things:
28Kut, ac Ngun Mutal, tukeni insesela in tia filiya kutena ma toasr fowos sayen Ma Sap ma eneneyuk inge:
29That you abstain from things sacrificed to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication; from which things keeping yourselves, you shall do well. Fare ye well.
29Kowos in tia kang kutena mongo ma kisala nu sin ma sruloala, tia mongo srah, tia kang kutena ma loksakla, ac karinginkowosyang liki fohkfok lun orek kosro. Ac fah wo nu suwos kowos fin liyaung ma inge. Lung lulap lasr nu suwos.”
30They therefore being dismissed, went down to Antioch; and gathering together the multitude, delivered the epistle.
30Mwet utuk kas inge supweyukla, ac elos som nu Antioch, ac elos solani mwet lulalfongi nukewa ac sang leta sac nu selos.
31Which when they had read, they rejoiced for the consolation.
31Ke mwet uh riti leta sac, elos arulana engan ke kas in akku ma simla in leta sac.
32But Judas and Silas, being prophets also themselves, with many words comforted the brethren, and confirmed them.
32Judas ac Silas, su oaoa in mwet palu, eltal sramsram paht na yurin mwet lulalfongi, ac akpulaikyalos ac akkeyalos.
33And after they had spent some time there, they were let go with peace by the brethren, unto them that had sent them.
33Tukun eltal muta yorolos ke kutu pacl, na mwet lulalfongi elos supwalosla in misla, ac elos folokla nu yurin mwet ma supwalosme ah. [
34But it seemed good unto Silas to remain there; and Judas alone departed to Jerusalem.
34Tusruktu Silas el sulela elan muta we.]
35And Paul and Barnabas continued at Antioch, teaching and preaching, with many others, the word of the Lord.
35Paul ac Barnabas eltal muta Antioch ke kutu pacl, ac eltal wi mwet puspis in acn we luti ac fahkak kas lun Leum.
36And after some days, Paul said to Barnabas: Let us return and visit our brethren in all the cities wherein we have preached the word of the Lord, to see how they do.
36Kutu pacl tok, Paul el fahk nu sel Barnabas, “Kut folokla ac liye mwet lulalfongi wiasr in siti nukewa ma kut fahkak kas lun Leum we, ac liye lah elos fuka in pacl inge.”
37And Barnabas would have taken with them John also, that was surnamed Mark;
37Barnabas el lungse usal John Mark welultal,
38But Paul desired that he (as having departed from them out of Pamphylia, and not gone with them to the work) might not be received.
38tuh Paul el tiana nunku mu ac wo elan wi, mweyen el tuh tia welultal aksafyela fahsr se meet laltal ah, a el forla ac folokla Pamphylia lac.
39And there arose a dissension, so that they departed one from another; and Barnabas indeed taking Mark, sailed to Cyprus.
39Oasr sie akukuin na upa inmasrloltal, na eltal fahsrelik. Barnabas el eisal Mark, ac kal som nu Cyprus,
40But Paul choosing Silas, departed, being delivered by the brethren to the grace of God.
40a Paul el sulella Silas ac som. Ac mwet lulalfongi elos eisaltalang tuh kulang lun Leum in karinganulos.
41And he went through Syria and Cilicia, confirming the churches, commanding them to keep the precepts of the apostles and the ancients.
41Paul el fahsr sasla acn Syria ac Cilicia, ac akkeye mwet in church we.
