Bible Mutal (Kosraean)
1And in those days, the number of the disciples increasing, there arose a murmuring of the Greeks against the Hebrews, for that their widows were neglected in the daily ministration.
1In kutu pacl tok, ke pusenina un mwet lulalfongi, oasr sie akukuin sikyak inmasrlon mwet Jew su kas Greek, ac mwet Jew su kas Aramaic. Mwet Jew ma kas Greek elos fahk mu katinmas lalos uh tiana wo karinginya ke pacl in kitakat pengana len.
2Then the twelve calling together the multitude of the disciples, said: It is not reason that we should leave the word of God, and serve tables.
2Ouinge mwet sap singoul luo elos pangoneni mwet lulalfongi nukewa ac fahk nu selos, “Ac sufal kut in lohla ke karinginyen mwe kasru nu sin mwet uh, oru srikla pacl lasr in fahkak kas lun God.
3Wherefore, brethren, look ye out among you seven men of good reputation, full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business.
3Ke ma inge, mwet lili ac lulu, kowos sulela itkosr mwet inmasrlowos su eteyuk mu yohk ngun mutal yoro ac lalmwetmet, na kut fah sang kunalos orekma se inge.
4But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word.
4A funu kut, kut ac sang nufon pacl lasr nu ke pre ac fahkak kas.”
5And the saying was liked by all the multitude. And they chose Stephen, a man full of faith, and of the Holy Ghost, and Philip, and Prochorus, and Nicanor, and Timon, and Parmenas, and Nicolas, a proselyte of Antioch.
5U sac nufon arulana insewowo ke nunak se lun mwet sap uh, ouinge elos sulella Stephen (sie mwet su yohk lulalfongi lal ac sessesla ke Ngun Mutal), oayapa Philip, Prochorus, Nicanor, Timon, Parmenas, ac Nicolaus (sie mwet Antioch su tuh wela alu lun mwet Jew meet.)
6These they set before the apostles; and they praying, imposed hands upon them.
6U sac pwanla mwet inge nu ye mutun mwet sap uh, ac elos pre kaclos ac filiya paolos faclos.
7And the word of the Lord increased; and the number of the disciples was multiplied in Jerusalem exceedingly: a great multitude also of the priests obeyed the faith.
7Ouinge arulana puseni mwet su lohng kas lun God ac lulalfongi kac. Pisen mwet lulalfongi in acn Jerusalem arulana puseni, ac pus sin mwet tol weang pac lulalfongi ke Christ.
8And Stephen, full of grace and fortitude, did great wonders and signs among the people.
8Stephen, sie mukul su God El arulana akinsewowoye ac sang ku lulap nu se, el oru mwenmen puspis inmasrlon mwet uh.
9Now there arose some of that which is called the synagogue of the Libertines, and of the Cyrenians, and of the Alexandrians, and of them that were of Cilicia and Asia, disputing with Stephen.
9Tusruktu oasr kutu mwet lainul Stephen. Mwet inge elos mwet Jew ma tuku Cyrene ac Alexandria me, ac elos ma in iwen lolngok se pangpang Mwet Sukosokla. Sayen mwet inge, oasr pac mwet Jew su tuku liki acn ma oan apneni acn Cilicia ac Asia, su wi pac akukuin nu sel Stephen.
10And they were not able to resist the wisdom and the spirit that spoke.
10Tusruk Ngun Mutal nakulla Stephen ke sie kain lalmwetmet, pwanang wangin mwet ku in topkolla.
11Then they suborned men to say, they had heard him speak words of blasphemy against Moses and against God.
11Ouinge elos moleang nu sin kutu mwet in orek loh kikiap kacl, ac fahk, “Kut lohng el tuh kaskas lainul Moses ac oayapa lain God!”
12And they stirred up the people, and the ancients, and the scribes; and running together, they took him, and brought him to the council.
12Kas inge purakak nunak lun mwet uh, oayapa un mwet matu ac mwet luti Ma Sap. Na elos sruokilya Stephen ac usalak nu ye mutun Un Mwet Pwapa Fulat.
13And they set up false witnesses, who said: This man ceaseth not to speak words against the holy place and the law.
13Ac elos use pac kutu mwet in tuh kikiap in kaskas kacl, su fahk mu, “Pacl nukewa mwet se inge el kaskas lain Tempul mutal lasr uh, ac lain Ma Sap lal Moses.
14For we have heard him say, that this Jesus of Nazareth shall destroy this place, and shall change the traditions which Moses delivered unto us.
14Kut lohng el fahk pac mu mwet se inge Jesus lun Nazareth, el ac fah kunausla Tempul ac ekulla ouiya matu nukewa su ma tuh ituku nu sesr sel Moses ah!”
15And all that sat in the council, looking on him, saw his face as if it had been the face of an angel.
15Mwet nukewa ma muta in walil lun Un Mwet Pwapa Fulat elos suilya Stephen, ac liye lah mutal oana mutun sie lipufan.
