Testamenta Marra (Dieri New Testament)
World English Bible
1Jendrangundruja, ngatata kulikiriai, pariwilpaia karkani ngampu mara worajai, najinajibanau ngaiananaia dikani jauraia Apostel, ja Priesta pirna, Jesus,
1Therefore, holy brothers, partakers of a heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our confession: Jesus,
2Nauja talku nganai nunkangu, Nulia ninaia kurana wonti, worderu bakana Moses nunkani pungani warupotuni.
2who was faithful to him who appointed him, as also Moses was in all his house.
3Ngangau morla pirnala Nulupini manina wonti Mosingu, worderu nulu morla pirnala ngamalkai pungani, nulu ninaia matja ngankingana.
3For he has been counted worthy of more glory than Moses, because he who built the house has more honor than the house.
4Ngangau punga pilki ja pilki kanali ngankingai, Nulia warupoto ngankingana wonti Goda nganai.
4For every house is built by someone; but he who built all things is God.
5Ja Moses talku nganana wonti nunkani pungani warupotuni, mili jeribaka malka morlalu nunkangu, mina kaukaubananto,
5Moses indeed was faithful in all his house as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were afterward to be spoken,
6Ja Christus Ngatamura jeribaka pungani nunkanani; nunkanaia punga ngaiana nganai, ngaiana kalkani morlalu ngundrana ja pirnala mudanajeli ngurunguru ngamalkanani.
6but Christ is faithful as a Son over his house. We are his house, if we hold fast our confidence and the glorying of our hope firm to the end.
7Jendrangundruja, worderu Jaola kulikiri jatai: „Karari, jura ngaiala nunkani ngaranani,
7Therefore, even as the Holy Spirit says, “Today if you will hear his voice,
8Jeruja ngara juranina wata ngurunguru ngankanau, worderu kaldrini wontjanilaia ditjini pitarani;
8don’t harden your hearts as in the rebellion, in the day of the trial in the wilderness,
9Jendranguta ngaperali juranali ngana wontjana wonti, ja ngana najinajibana wonti, ja ngankana ngakani najina wonti kilpawodra pota mandrumandru marapratjana.
9where your fathers tested me and tried me, and saw my deeds for forty years.
10Jendrangundruja ngani tanangupini ngujani kaldririna wonti, ja jatana wonti: Milingeru tanalia ngarali tjautjau ngundrai ja tanalia palto ngakani wata ngujamana warai,
10Therefore I was displeased with that generation, and said, ‘They always err in their heart, but they didn’t know my ways.’
11Jeruja ngato bakana tirini ngakanani morlalu kurana wonti: Tanaia wata wirinanto ngara ngamanaia ngakanaia.“
11As I swore in my wrath, ‘They will not enter into my rest.’”
12Ngamalkaterianau, ngatata worajai, kulnuni jurangundru morlalu ngundrani pania ngara madlentji nganaiati, nau puriati Goda tepindru;
12Beware, brothers, lest perhaps there might be in any one of you an evil heart of unbelief, in falling away from the living God;
13A‐ai, kurukurubijiribamalianimai ditjini warupotuni, jeruntjaia tanali karari dikai, madlentjaia jedibanali kulnuni jurangundru ngurunguru ngankaiati.
13but exhort one another day by day, so long as it is called “today”, lest any one of you be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin.
14Ngangau ngaiana Christuni ngampumara pantjina wonti, ngaiana morlalu ngundranaia wonini mudanajelu ngurunguru ngamalkanani.
14For we have become partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence firm to the end,
15Matja jatanani: „Karari, jura ngaiala nunkani ngaranani, jeruja ngara juranina wata ngurunguru ngankanau,“ worderu kaldrini,
15while it is said, “Today if you will hear his voice, don’t harden your hearts, as in the rebellion.”
16Warletana ngaranietja nganana wonti, tana kaldri ngankaterina wonti? Wata tana pratjana, tana Egypta mitandru dunkana wonti Mosili?
16For who, when they heard, rebelled? Wasn’t it all those who came out of Egypt led by Moses?
17Warletana nganai, tanangu Nauja kaldririna wonti kilpawoldra pota mandrumandru marapratjana? Wata tanali, tana madlentji ngankana wonti, tanani palku pitarani parantina wonti?
17With whom was he displeased forty years? Wasn’t it with those who sinned, whose bodies fell in the wilderness?
18Worangu Nulia morlalu kurana wonti, tana wata nunkani ngara ngamanaia wirinanto? Windri tanangu, tana delkina wonti?
18To whom did he swear that they wouldn’t enter into his rest, but to those who were disobedient?
19Ja ngaiana najiai, tana ngandandarina wonti wirila morlalu ngundrana panindru.
19We see that they weren’t able to enter in because of unbelief.
