1耶和華的話臨到 耶利米 說：
1This is the word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD, saying,
2「你當站在耶和華殿的門口，在那裏宣傳這話說：你們進這些門敬拜耶和華的一切 猶大 人，當聽耶和華的話。
2“Stand in the gate of the house of the LORD and proclaim this message: Hear the word of the LORD, all you people of Judah who enter through these gates to worship the LORD.
3萬軍之耶和華－ 以色列 的上帝如此說：你們改正行動作為，我就使你們在這地方仍然居住。
3Thus says the LORD of Hosts, the God of Israel: Correct your ways and deeds, and I will let you live in this place.
4你們不要倚靠虛謊的話，說：『這些是耶和華的殿，是耶和華的殿，是耶和華的殿！』
4Do not trust in deceptive words, chanting: ‘This is the temple of the LORD, the temple of the LORD, the temple of the LORD.’
5「你們若實在改正行動作為，在人和鄰舍中間誠然施行公平，
5For if you really correct your ways and deeds, if you act justly toward one another,
6不欺壓寄居的和孤兒寡婦，在這地方不流無辜人的血，也不隨從別神陷害自己，
6if you no longer oppress the foreigner and the fatherless and the widow, and if you no longer shed innocent blood in this place or follow other gods to your own harm,
7我就使你們在這地方仍然居住，就是我古時所賜給你們列祖的地，直到永遠。
7then I will let you live in this place, in the land that I gave to your fathers forever and ever.
8「看哪，你們倚靠虛謊無益的話。
8But look, you keep trusting in deceptive words to no avail.
9你們偷盜，殺害，姦淫，起假誓，向 巴力 燒香，並隨從素不認識的別神，
9Will you steal and murder, commit adultery and perjury, burn incense to Baal, and follow other gods that you have not known,
10且來到這稱為我名下的殿，在我面前敬拜；又說：『我們可以自由了。』你們這樣的舉動是要行那些可憎的事嗎？
10and then come and stand before Me in this house, which bears My Name, and say, ‘We are delivered, so we can continue with all these abominations’?
11這稱為我名下的殿在你們眼中豈可看為賊窩嗎？我都看見了。這是耶和華說的。
11Has this house, which bears My Name, become a den of robbers in your sight? Yes, I too have seen it, declares the LORD.
12你們且往 示羅 去，就是我先前立為我名的居所，察看我因這百姓 以色列 的罪惡向那地所行的如何。」
12But go now to the place in Shiloh where I first made a dwelling for My Name, and see what I did to it because of the wickedness of My people Israel.
13耶和華說：「現在因你們行了這一切的事，我也從早起來警戒你們，你們卻不聽從；呼喚你們，你們卻不答應。
13And now, because you have done all these things, declares the LORD, and because I have spoken to you again and again but you would not listen, and I have called to you but you would not answer,
14所以我要向這稱為我名下、你們所倚靠的殿，與我所賜給你們和你們列祖的地施行，照我從前向 示羅 所行的一樣。
14therefore what I did to Shiloh I will now do to the house that bears My Name, the house in which you trust, the place that I gave to you and your fathers.
15我必將你們從我眼前趕出，正如趕出你們的眾弟兄，就是 以法蓮 的一切後裔。」
15And I will cast you out of My presence, just as I have cast out all your brothers, all the descendants of Ephraim.
16「所以，你不要為這百姓祈禱；不要為他們呼求禱告，也不要向我為他們祈求，因我不聽允你。
16As for you, do not pray for these people, do not offer a plea or petition on their behalf, and do not beg Me, for I will not listen to you.
17他們在 猶大 城邑中和 耶路撒冷 街上所行的，你沒有看見嗎？
17Do you not see what they are doing in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem?
18孩子撿柴，父親燒火，婦女摶麵做餅，獻給天后，又向別神澆奠祭，惹我發怒。」
18The sons gather wood, the fathers light the fire, and the women knead the dough to make cakes for the Queen of Heaven; they pour out drink offerings to other gods to provoke Me to anger.
19耶和華說：「他們豈是惹我發怒呢？不是自己惹禍，以致臉上慚愧嗎？」
19But am I the One they are provoking? declares the LORD. Is it not themselves they spite, to their own shame?
20所以主耶和華如此說：「看哪，我必將我的怒氣和忿怒傾在這地方的人和牲畜身上，並田野的樹木和地裏的出產上，必 如火 着起，不能熄滅。」
20Therefore this is what the Lord GOD says: Behold, My anger and My fury will be poured out on this place, on man and beast, on the trees of the field and the produce of the land, and it will burn and not be extinguished.
21萬軍之耶和華－ 以色列 的上帝如此說：「你們將燔祭加在 平安 祭上，吃肉吧！
21This is what the LORD of Hosts, the God of Israel, says: Add your burnt offerings to your other sacrifices and eat the meat yourselves!
22因為我將你們列祖從 埃及 地領出來的那日，燔祭 平安 祭的事我並沒有提說，也沒有吩咐他們。
22For when I brought your fathers out of the land of Egypt, I did not merely command them about burnt offerings and sacrifices,
23我只吩咐他們這一件說：『你們當聽從我的話，我就作你們的上帝，你們也作我的子民。你們行我所吩咐的一切道，就可以得福。』
23but this is what I commanded them: Obey Me, and I will be your God, and you will be My people. You must walk in all the ways I have commanded you, so that it may go well with you.
24他們卻不聽從，不側耳而聽，竟隨從 自己 的計謀和頑梗的惡心，向後不向前。
24Yet they did not listen or incline their ear, but they followed the stubborn inclinations of their own evil hearts. They went backward and not forward.
25自從你們列祖出 埃及 地的那日，直到今日，我差遣我的僕人眾先知到你們那裏去，每日從早起來差遣他們。
25From the day your fathers came out of the land of Egypt until this day, I have sent you all My servants the prophets again and again.
26你們卻不聽從，不側耳而聽，竟硬着頸項行惡，比你們列祖更甚。
26Yet they would not listen to Me or incline their ear, but they stiffened their necks and did more evil than their fathers.
27「你要將這一切的話告訴他們，他們卻不聽從；呼喚他們，他們卻不答應。
27When you tell them all these things, they will not listen to you. When you call to them, they will not answer.
28你要對他們說：這就是不聽從耶和華－他們上帝的話、不受教訓的國民；從他們的口中，誠實滅絕了。」
28Therefore you must say to them, ‘This is the nation that would not listen to the voice of the LORD their God and would not receive correction. Truth has perished; it has disappeared from their lips.
29耶路撒冷 啊，要剪髮拋棄， 在淨光的高處舉哀； 因為耶和華丟掉離棄了惹他忿怒的世代。
29Cut off your hair and throw it away. Raise up a lamentation on the barren heights, for the LORD has rejected and forsaken the generation of His wrath.’
30耶和華說：「 猶大 人行我眼中看為惡的事，將可憎之物設立在稱為我名下的殿中，污穢這殿。
30For the people of Judah have done evil in My sight, declares the LORD. They have set up their abominations in the house that bears My Name, and so have defiled it.
31他們在 欣嫩子谷 建築 陀斐特 的邱壇，好在火中焚燒自己的兒女。這並不是我所吩咐的，也不是我心所起的意。」
31They have built the high places of Topheth in the Valley of Hinnom so they could burn their sons and daughters in the fire—something I never commanded, nor did it even enter My mind.
32耶和華說：「因此，日子將到，這地方不再稱為 陀斐特 和 欣嫩子谷 ，反倒稱為 殺戮谷 。因為要在 陀斐特 葬埋 屍首 ，甚至無處 可葬 ；
32So behold, the days are coming, declares the LORD, when this place will no longer be called Topheth and the Valley of Hinnom, but the Valley of Slaughter. For they will bury the dead in Topheth until there is no more room.
33並且這百姓的屍首必給空中的飛鳥和地上的野獸作食物，並無人鬨趕。
33The corpses of this people will become food for the birds of the air and the beasts of the earth, and there will be no one to scare them away.
34那時，我必使 猶大 城邑中和 耶路撒冷 街上，歡喜和快樂的聲音，新郎和新婦的聲音，都止息了，因為地必成為荒場。」
34I will remove from the cities of Judah and the streets of Jerusalem the sounds of joy and gladness and the voices of the bride and bridegroom, for the land will become a wasteland.”
