1耶和华的话临到 耶利米 说：
1This is the word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD, saying,
2「你当站在耶和华殿的门口，在那里宣传这话说：你们进这些门敬拜耶和华的一切 犹大 人，当听耶和华的话。
2“Stand in the gate of the house of the LORD and proclaim this message: Hear the word of the LORD, all you people of Judah who enter through these gates to worship the LORD.
3万军之耶和华— 以色列 的 神如此说：你们改正行动作为，我就使你们在这地方仍然居住。
3Thus says the LORD of Hosts, the God of Israel: Correct your ways and deeds, and I will let you live in this place.
4你们不要倚靠虚谎的话，说：『这些是耶和华的殿，是耶和华的殿，是耶和华的殿！』
4Do not trust in deceptive words, chanting: ‘This is the temple of the LORD, the temple of the LORD, the temple of the LORD.’
5「你们若实在改正行动作为，在人和邻舍中间诚然施行公平，
5For if you really correct your ways and deeds, if you act justly toward one another,
6不欺压寄居的和孤儿寡妇，在这地方不流无辜人的血，也不随从别神陷害自己，
6if you no longer oppress the foreigner and the fatherless and the widow, and if you no longer shed innocent blood in this place or follow other gods to your own harm,
7我就使你们在这地方仍然居住，就是我古时所赐给你们列祖的地，直到永远。
7then I will let you live in this place, in the land that I gave to your fathers forever and ever.
8「看哪，你们倚靠虚谎无益的话。
8But look, you keep trusting in deceptive words to no avail.
9你们偷盗，杀害，奸淫，起假誓，向 巴力 烧香，并随从素不认识的别神，
9Will you steal and murder, commit adultery and perjury, burn incense to Baal, and follow other gods that you have not known,
10且来到这称为我名下的殿，在我面前敬拜；又说：『我们可以自由了。』你们这样的举动是要行那些可憎的事吗？
10and then come and stand before Me in this house, which bears My Name, and say, ‘We are delivered, so we can continue with all these abominations’?
11这称为我名下的殿在你们眼中岂可看为贼窝吗？我都看见了。这是耶和华说的。
11Has this house, which bears My Name, become a den of robbers in your sight? Yes, I too have seen it, declares the LORD.
12你们且往 示罗 去，就是我先前立为我名的居所，察看我因这百姓 以色列 的罪恶向那地所行的如何。」
12But go now to the place in Shiloh where I first made a dwelling for My Name, and see what I did to it because of the wickedness of My people Israel.
13耶和华说：「现在因你们行了这一切的事，我也从早起来警戒你们，你们却不听从；呼唤你们，你们却不答应。
13And now, because you have done all these things, declares the LORD, and because I have spoken to you again and again but you would not listen, and I have called to you but you would not answer,
14所以我要向这称为我名下、你们所倚靠的殿，与我所赐给你们和你们列祖的地施行，照我从前向 示罗 所行的一样。
14therefore what I did to Shiloh I will now do to the house that bears My Name, the house in which you trust, the place that I gave to you and your fathers.
15我必将你们从我眼前赶出，正如赶出你们的众弟兄，就是 以法莲 的一切后裔。」
15And I will cast you out of My presence, just as I have cast out all your brothers, all the descendants of Ephraim.
16「所以，你不要为这百姓祈祷；不要为他们呼求祷告；也不要向我为他们祈求，因我不听允你。
16As for you, do not pray for these people, do not offer a plea or petition on their behalf, and do not beg Me, for I will not listen to you.
17他们在 犹大 城邑中和 耶路撒冷 街上所行的，你没有看见吗？
17Do you not see what they are doing in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem?
18孩子捡柴，父亲烧火，妇女抟面做饼，献给天后，又向别神浇奠祭，惹我发怒。」
18The sons gather wood, the fathers light the fire, and the women knead the dough to make cakes for the Queen of Heaven; they pour out drink offerings to other gods to provoke Me to anger.
19耶和华说：「他们岂是惹我发怒呢？不是自己惹祸，以致脸上惭愧吗？」
19But am I the One they are provoking? declares the LORD. Is it not themselves they spite, to their own shame?
20所以主耶和华如此说：「看哪，我必将我的怒气和忿怒倾在这地方的人和牲畜身上，并田野的树木和地里的出产上，必 如火 着起，不能熄灭。」
20Therefore this is what the Lord GOD says: Behold, My anger and My fury will be poured out on this place, on man and beast, on the trees of the field and the produce of the land, and it will burn and not be extinguished.
21万军之耶和华— 以色列 的 神如此说：「你们将燔祭加在 平安 祭上，吃肉吧！
21This is what the LORD of Hosts, the God of Israel, says: Add your burnt offerings to your other sacrifices and eat the meat yourselves!
22因为我将你们列祖从 埃及 地领出来的那日，燔祭 平安 祭的事我并没有提说，也没有吩咐他们。
22For when I brought your fathers out of the land of Egypt, I did not merely command them about burnt offerings and sacrifices,
23我只吩咐他们这一件说：『你们当听从我的话，我就作你们的 神，你们也作我的子民。你们行我所吩咐的一切道，就可以得福。』
23but this is what I commanded them: Obey Me, and I will be your God, and you will be My people. You must walk in all the ways I have commanded you, so that it may go well with you.
24他们却不听从，不侧耳而听，竟随从 自己 的计谋和顽梗的恶心，向后不向前。
24Yet they did not listen or incline their ear, but they followed the stubborn inclinations of their own evil hearts. They went backward and not forward.
25自从你们列祖出 埃及 地的那日，直到今日，我差遣我的仆人众先知到你们那里去，每日从早起来差遣他们。
25From the day your fathers came out of the land of Egypt until this day, I have sent you all My servants the prophets again and again.
26你们却不听从，不侧耳而听，竟硬着颈项行恶，比你们列祖更甚。
26Yet they would not listen to Me or incline their ear, but they stiffened their necks and did more evil than their fathers.
27「你要将这一切的话告诉他们，他们却不听从；呼唤他们，他们却不答应。
27When you tell them all these things, they will not listen to you. When you call to them, they will not answer.
28你要对他们说：这就是不听从耶和华—他们 神的话、不受教训的国民；从他们的口中，诚实灭绝了。」
28Therefore you must say to them, ‘This is the nation that would not listen to the voice of the LORD their God and would not receive correction. Truth has perished; it has disappeared from their lips.
29耶路撒冷 啊，要剪发抛弃， 在净光的高处举哀； 因为耶和华丢掉离弃了惹他忿怒的世代。
29Cut off your hair and throw it away. Raise up a lamentation on the barren heights, for the LORD has rejected and forsaken the generation of His wrath.’
30耶和华说：「 犹大 人行我眼中看为恶的事，将可憎之物设立在称为我名下的殿中，污秽这殿。
30For the people of Judah have done evil in My sight, declares the LORD. They have set up their abominations in the house that bears My Name, and so have defiled it.
31他们在 欣嫩子谷 建筑 陀斐特 的邱坛，好在火中焚烧自己的儿女。这并不是我所吩咐的，也不是我心所起的意。」
31They have built the high places of Topheth in the Valley of Hinnom so they could burn their sons and daughters in the fire—something I never commanded, nor did it even enter My mind.
32耶和华说：「因此，日子将到，这地方不再称为 陀斐特 和 欣嫩子谷 ，反倒称为 杀戮谷 。因为要在 陀斐特 葬埋 尸首 ，甚至无处 可葬 ；
32So behold, the days are coming, declares the LORD, when this place will no longer be called Topheth and the Valley of Hinnom, but the Valley of Slaughter. For they will bury the dead in Topheth until there is no more room.
33并且这百姓的尸首必给空中的飞鸟和地上的野兽作食物，并无人哄赶。
33The corpses of this people will become food for the birds of the air and the beasts of the earth, and there will be no one to scare them away.
34那时，我必使 犹大 城邑中和 耶路撒冷 街上，欢喜和快乐的声音，新郎和新妇的声音，都止息了，因为地必成为荒场。」
34I will remove from the cities of Judah and the streets of Jerusalem the sounds of joy and gladness and the voices of the bride and bridegroom, for the land will become a wasteland.”
