1奉 神旨意，蒙召作耶稣基督使徒的 保罗 ，同兄弟 所提尼 ，
1Paul, called to be an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, and our brother Sosthenes,
2写信给在 哥林多 神的教会，就是在基督耶稣里成圣、蒙召作圣徒的，以及所有在各处求告我主耶稣基督之名的人。基督是他们的 主 ，也是我们的 主 。
2To the church of God in Corinth, to those sanctified in Christ Jesus and called to be holy, together with all those everywhere who call on the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, their Lord and ours:
3愿恩惠、平安从 神我们的父并主耶稣基督归与你们。
3Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
4我常为你们感谢我的 神，因 神在基督耶稣里所赐给你们的恩惠；
4I always thank my God for you because of the grace He has given you in Christ Jesus.
5又因你们在他里面凡事富足，口才、知识都全备，
5For in Him you have been enriched in every way, in all speech and all knowledge,
6正如 我为 基督 作 的见证，在你们心里得以坚固，
6because our testimony about Christ was confirmed in you.
7以致你们在恩赐上没有一样不及人的，等候我们的主耶稣基督显现。
7Therefore you do not lack any spiritual gift as you eagerly await the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ.
8他也必坚固你们到底，叫你们在我们主耶稣基督的日子无可责备。
8He will sustain you to the end, so that you will be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.
9神是信实的，你们原是被他所召，好与他儿子—我们的主耶稣基督一同得分。
9God, who has called you into fellowship with His Son Jesus Christ our Lord, is faithful.
10弟兄们，我借我们主耶稣基督的名劝你们都说一样的话。你们中间也不可分党，只要一心一意，彼此相合。
10I appeal to you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree together, so that there may be no divisions among you and that you may be united in mind and conviction.
11因为 革来 氏 家里 的人曾对我提起弟兄们来，说你们中间有纷争。
11My brothers, some from Chloe’s household have informed me that there are quarrels among you.
12我的意思就是你们各人说：「我是属 保罗 的」；「我是属 亚波罗 的」；「我是属 矶法 的」；「我是属基督的」。
12What I mean is this: Individuals among you are saying, “I follow Paul,” “I follow Apollos,” “I follow Cephas,” or “I follow Christ.”
13基督是分开的吗？ 保罗 为你们钉了十字架吗？你们是奉 保罗 的名受了洗吗？
13Is Christ divided? Was Paul crucified for you? Were you baptized into the name of Paul?
14我感谢 神，除了 基利司布 并 该犹 以外，我没有给你们一个人施洗，
14I thank God that I did not baptize any of you except Crispus and Gaius,
15免得有人说，你们是奉我的名受洗。
15so no one can say that you were baptized into my name.
16我也给 司提反 家施过洗，此外给别人施洗没有，我却记不清。
16Yes, I also baptized the household of Stephanas; beyond that I do not remember if I baptized anyone else.
17基督差遣我，原不是为施洗，乃是为传福音，并不用智慧的言语，免得基督的十字架落了空。
17For Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the gospel, not with words of wisdom, lest the cross of Christ be emptied of its power.
18因为十字架的道理，在那灭亡的人为愚拙；在我们得救的人，却为 神的大能。
18For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
19就如 经上 所记： 我要灭绝智慧人的智慧， 废弃聪明人的聪明。
19For it is written: “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise; the intelligence of the intelligent I will frustrate.”
20智慧人在哪里？文士在哪里？这世上的辩士在哪里？ 神岂不是叫这世上的智慧变成愚拙吗？
20Where is the wise man? Where is the scribe? Where is the philosopher of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world?
21世人凭自己的智慧，既不认识 神， 神就乐意用 人所当作 愚拙的道理拯救那些信的人；这就是 神的智慧了。
21For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not know Him, God was pleased through the foolishness of what was preached to save those who believe.
22犹太 人是要神迹， 希腊 人是求智慧，
22Jews demand signs and Greeks search for wisdom,
23我们却是传钉在十字架的基督，在 犹太 人为绊脚石，在外邦人为愚拙；
23but we preach Christ crucified, a stumbling block to Jews and foolishness to Gentiles,
24但在那蒙召的，无论是 犹太 人、 希腊 人，基督总为 神的能力， 神的智慧。
24but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.
25因 神的愚拙总比人智慧， 神的软弱总比人强壮。
25For the foolishness of God is wiser than man’s wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than man’s strength.
26弟兄们哪，可见你们蒙召的，按着肉体有智慧的不多，有能力的不多，有尊贵的也不多。
26Brothers, consider the time of your calling: Not many of you were wise by human standards; not many were powerful; not many were of noble birth.
27神却拣选了世上愚拙的，叫有智慧的羞愧；又拣选了世上软弱的，叫那强壮的羞愧。
27But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong.
28神也拣选了世上卑贱的，被人厌恶的，以及那无有的，为要废掉那有的，
28He chose the lowly and despised things of the world, and the things that are not, to nullify the things that are,
29使一切有血气的，在 神面前一个也不能自夸。
29so that no one may boast in His presence.
30但你们得在基督耶稣里是本乎 神， 神又使他成为我们的智慧、公义、圣洁、救赎。
30It is because of Him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God: our righteousness, holiness, and redemption.
31如 经上 所记：「夸口的，当指着主夸口。」
31Therefore, as it is written: “Let him who boasts boast in the Lord.”
