何西阿書 9

1以色列 啊，不要像外邦人歡喜快樂； 因為你行邪淫離棄你的上帝， 在各穀場上 如妓女 喜愛賞賜。
1Rejoice not, O Israel: rejoice not as the nations do: for thou hast committed fornication against thy God, thou hast loved a reward upon every cornfloor.
2穀場和酒醡都不夠 以色列 人使用； 新酒也必缺乏。
2The floor and the winepress shall not feed them, and the wine shall deceive them.
3他們必不得住耶和華的地； 以法蓮 卻要歸回 埃及 ， 必在 亞述 吃不潔淨的食物。
3They shall not dwell in the Lord’s land: Ephraim is returned to Egypt, and hath eaten unclean things among the Assyrians.
4他們必不得向耶和華奠酒， 即便奠酒也不蒙悅納。 他們的祭物必如居喪者的食物， 凡吃的必被玷污； 因他們的食物只為自己的口腹， 必不奉入耶和華的殿。
4They shall not offer wine to the Lord, neither shall they please him: their sacrifices shall be like the bread of mourners: all that shall eat it shall be defiled: for their bread is life for their soul, it shall not enter into the house of the Lord.
5在大會的日子， 到耶和華的節期，你們怎樣行呢？
5What will you do in the solemn day, in the day of the feast of the Lord?
6看哪，他們逃避災難； 埃及 人必收殮他們的屍首， 摩弗 人必葬埋他們的骸骨。 他們用銀子做的美物上必長蒺藜； 他們的帳棚中必生荊棘。
6For behold they are gone because of destruction: Egypt shall gather them together, Memphis shall bury them: nettles shall inherit their beloved silver, the bur shall be in their tabernacles.
7以色列 人必知道降罰的日子臨近， 報應的時候來到。 民說 ：作先知的是愚昧； 受靈感的是狂妄， 皆因他們多多作孽，大懷怨恨。
7The days of visitation are come, the days of repaying are come: know ye, O Israel, that the prophet was foolish, the spiritual man was mad, for the multitude of thy iniquity, and the multitude of thy madness.
8以法蓮 曾作我上帝守望的； 至於先知，在他一切的道上作為捕鳥人的網羅， 在他上帝的家中懷怨恨。
8The watchman of Ephraim was with my God: the prophet is become a snare of ruin upon all his ways, madness is in the house of his God.
9以法蓮 深深地敗壞， 如在 基比亞 的日子一樣。 耶和華必記念他們的罪孽， 追討他們的罪惡。
9They have sinned deeply, as in the days of Gabaa: he will remember their iniquity, and will visit their sin.
10主說 ：我遇見 以色列 如葡萄在曠野； 我看見你們的列祖如無花果樹上春季初熟的果子。 他們卻來到 巴力‧毗珥 專拜那可羞恥的， 就成為可憎惡的， 與他們所愛的一樣。
10I found Israel like grapes in the desert, I saw their fathers like the firstfruits of the fig tree in the top thereof: but they went in to Beelphegor, and alienated themselves to that confusion, and became abominable, as those things were, which they loved.
11至於 以法蓮 人，他們的榮耀必如鳥飛去， 必不生產，不懷胎，不成孕。
11As for Ephraim, their glory hath flown away like a bird from the birth, and from the womb, and from the conception.
12縱然養大兒女， 我卻必使他們喪子，甚至不留一個。 我離棄他們，他們就有禍了。
12And though they should bring up their children, I will make them without children among men: yea, and woe to them, when I shall depart from them.
13我看 以法蓮 如 泰爾 栽於美地。 以法蓮 卻要將自己的兒女帶出來， 交與行殺戮的人。
13Ephraim, as I saw, was a Tyre founded in beauty: and Ephraim shall bring out his children to the murderer.
14耶和華啊，求你加給他們－ 加甚麼呢？ 要使他們胎墜乳乾。
14Give them, O Lord. What wilt thou give them? Give them a womb without children, and dry breasts.
15耶和華說 ：他們一切的惡事都在 吉甲 ； 我在那裏憎惡他們。 因他們所行的惡， 我必從我地上趕出他們去， 不再憐愛他們； 他們的首領都是悖逆的。
15All their wickedness is in Galgal, for there I hated them: for the wickedness of their devices I will cast them forth out of my house: I will love them no more, all their princes are revolters.
16以法蓮 受責罰， 根本枯乾，必不能結果， 即或生產， 我必殺他們所生的愛子。
16Ephraim is struck, their root is dried up, they shall yield no fruit. And if they should have issue, I will slay the best beloved fruit of their womb.
17我的上帝必棄絕他們， 因為他們不聽從他； 他們也必飄流在列國中。
17My God will cast them away, because they hearkened not to him: and they shall be wanderers among the nations.
