1耶和華的話臨到我說：
1And the word of the Lord came to me, saying:
2「人子啊，你要面向 耶路撒冷 和聖所滴下預言，攻擊 以色列 地。
2Son of man, set thy face toward Jerusalem, and let thy speech flow towards the holy places, and prophesy against the land of Israel:
3對 以色列 地說，耶和華如此說：我與你為敵，並要拔刀出鞘，從你中間將義人和惡人一併剪除。
3And say to the land of Israel: Thus saith the Lord God: Behold I come against thee, and I will draw forth my sword out of its sheath, and will cut off in thee the just, and the wicked.
4我既要從你中間剪除義人和惡人，所以我的刀要出鞘，自南至北攻擊一切有血氣的；
4And forasmuch as I have cut off in thee the just, and the wicked, therefore shall my sword go forth out of its sheath against all flesh, from the south even to the north.
5一切有血氣的就知道我－耶和華已經拔刀出鞘，必不再入鞘。
5That all flesh may know that I the Lord have drawn my sword out of its sheath not to be turned back.
6人子啊，你要歎息，在他們眼前彎着腰，苦苦地歎息。
6And thou, son of man, mourn with the breaking of thy loins, and with bitterness sigh before them.
7他們問你說：『為何歎息呢？』你就說：『因為有風聲、 災禍 要來。人心都必消化，手都發軟，精神衰敗，膝弱如水。看哪，這 災禍 臨近，必然成就。這是主耶和華說的。』」
7And when they shall say to thee: Why mournest thou? thou shalt say: For that which I hear: because it cometh, and every heart shall melt, and all hands shall be made feeble, and every spirit shall faint, and water shall run down every knee: behold it cometh, and it shall be done, saith the Lord God.
8耶和華的話臨到我說：
8And the word of the Lord came to me, saying:
9「人子啊，你要預言。耶和華吩咐我如此說： 有刀、有刀， 是磨快擦亮的；
9Son of man, prophesy, and say: Thus saith the Lord God: Say: The sword, the sword is sharpened, and furbished.
10磨快為要行殺戮， 擦亮為要像閃電。 我們豈可快樂嗎？ 罰 我子的杖藐視各樹。
10It is sharpened to kill victims: it is furbished that it may glitter: thou removest the sceptre of my son, thou hast cut down every tree.
11這刀已經交給人擦亮，為要應手使用。這刀已經磨快擦亮，好交在行殺戮的人手中。
11And I have given it to be furbished, that it may be handled: this sword is sharpened, and it is furbished, that it may be in the hand of the slayer.
12人子啊，你要呼喊哀號，因為這刀臨到我的百姓和 以色列 一切的首領。他們和我的百姓都交在刀下，所以你要拍腿 歎息 。
12Cry, and howl, O son of man, for this sword is upon my people, it is upon all the princes of Israel, that are fled: they are delivered up to the sword with my people, strike therefore upon thy thigh,
13有試驗的事；若那藐視的杖歸於無有，怎麼樣呢？這是主耶和華說的。
13Because it is tried: and that when it shall overthrow the sceptre, and it shall not be, saith the Lord God.
14「人子啊，你要拍掌預言。我－ 耶和華 要使這刀，就是致死傷的刀，一連三次加倍 刺人 ，進入他們的內屋，使大人受死傷的就是這刀。
14Thou therefore, O son of man, prophesy, and strike thy hands together, and let the sword be doubled, and let the sword of the slain be tripled: this is the sword of a great slaughter, that maketh them stand amazed,
15我設立這恐嚇人的刀，攻擊他們的一切城門，使他們的心消化，加增他們跌倒的事。哎！這刀造得像閃電，磨得尖利，要行殺戮。
15And languish in heart, and that multiplieth ruins. In all their gates I have set the dread of the sharp sword, the sword that is furbished to glitter, that is made ready for slaughter.
16刀啊，你歸在右邊，擺在左邊；你面向哪方，就向那方 殺戮 。
16Be thou sharpened, go to the right hand, or to the left, which way soever thou hast a mind to set thy face.
17我也要拍掌，並要使我的忿怒止息。這是我－耶和華說的。」
17And I will clap my hands together, and will satisfy my indignation: I the Lord have spoken.
18耶和華的話又臨到我說：
18And the word of the Lord came to me, saying:
19「人子啊，你要定出兩條路，好使 巴比倫 王的刀來。這兩條路必從一地分出來，又要在通城的路口上畫出一隻手來。
19And thou son of man, set thee two ways, for the sword of the king of Babylon to come: both shall come forth out of one land: and with his hand he shall draw lots, he shall consult at the head of the way of the city.
20你要定出一條路，使刀來到 亞捫 人的 拉巴 ；又要定出一條路，使刀來到 猶大 的堅固城 耶路撒冷 。
20Thou shalt make a way that the sword may come to Rabbath of the children of Ammon, and to Juda unto Jerusalem the strong city.
21因為 巴比倫 王站在岔路那裏，在兩條路口上要占卜。他搖籤求問神像，察看 犧牲的 肝；
21For the king of Babylon stood in the highway, at the head of two ways, seeking divination, shuffling arrows: he inquired of the idols, and consulted entrails.
22在右手中拿着為 耶路撒冷 占卜的籤，使他安設撞城錘，張口叫殺，揚聲吶喊，築壘造臺，以撞城錘，攻打城門。
22On his right hand was the divination for Jerusalem, to set battering rams, to open the mouth in slaughter, to lift up the voice in howling, to set engines against the gates, to cast up a mount, to build forts.
23據那些曾起誓的 猶大 人看來，這是虛假的占卜；但 巴比倫 王要使他們想起罪孽，以致將他們捉住。」
23And he shall be in their eyes as one consulting the oracle in vain, and imitating the leisure of sabbaths: but he will call to remembrance the iniquity that they may be taken.
24主耶和華如此說：「因你們的過犯顯露，使你們的罪孽被記念，以致你們的罪惡在行為上都彰顯出來；又因你們被記念，就被捉住。
24Therefore thus saith the Lord God: Because you have remembered your iniquity, and have discovered your prevarications, and your sins have appeared in all your devices: because, I say, you have remembered, you shall be taken with the hand.
25你這受死傷行惡的 以色列 王啊，罪孽的盡頭到了，受報的日子已到。
25But thou profane wicked prince of Israel, whose day is come that hath been appointed in the time of iniquity:
26主耶和華如此說：當除掉冠，摘下冕，景況必不再像先前；要使卑者升為高，使高者降為卑。
26Thus saith the Lord God: Remove the diadem, take off the crown: is it not this that hath exalted the low one, and brought down him that was high?
27我要將 這國 傾覆，傾覆，而又傾覆；這 國 也必不再有，直等到那應得的人來到，我就賜給 他 。」
27I will shew it to be iniquity, iniquity, iniquity: but this was not done till he came to whom judgment belongeth, and I will give it him.
28「人子啊，要發預言說：主耶和華論到 亞捫 人和他們的凌辱，吩咐我如此說：有刀，有拔出來的刀，已經擦亮，為行殺戮，使他像閃電以行吞滅。
28And thou son of man, prophesy, and say: Thus saith the Lord God concerning the children of Ammon, and concerning their reproach, and thou shalt say: sword, O sword, come out of the scabbard to kill, be furbished to destroy, and to glitter,
29人為你見虛假的異象，行謊詐的占卜，使你倒在受死傷之惡人的頸項上。他們罪孽到了盡頭，受報的日子已到。
29Whilst they see vain things in thy regard, and they divine lies: to bring thee upon the necks of the wicked that are wounded, whose appointed day is come in the time of iniquity.
30你將刀收入鞘吧！在你受造之處、生長之地，我必刑罰你。
30Return into thy sheath. I will judge thee in the place wherein thou wast created, in the land of thy nativity.
31我必將我的惱恨倒在你身上，將我烈怒的火噴在你身上；又將你交在善於殺滅的畜類人手中。
31And I will pour out upon thee my indignation: in the fire of my rage will I blow upon thee, and will give thee into the hands of men that are brutish and contrive thy destruction.
32你必當柴被火焚燒；你的血必 流 在國中。你必不再被記念，因為這是我－耶和華說的。」
32Thou shalt be fuel for the fire, thy blood shall be in the midst of the land, thou shalt be forgotten: for I the Lord have spoken it.
