1我在上帝面前，並在將來審判活人死人的基督耶穌面前，憑着他的顯現和他的國度囑咐你：
1I charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who will judge the living and the dead, and in view of His appearing and His kingdom:
2務要傳道，無論得時不得時，總要專心，並用百般的忍耐、各樣的教訓責備人，警戒人，勸勉人。
2Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and encourage with every form of patient instruction.
3因為時候要到，人必厭煩純正的道理，耳朵發癢，就隨從自己的情慾增添好些師傅，
3For the time will come when men will not tolerate sound doctrine, but with itching ears they will gather around themselves teachers to suit their own desires.
4並且掩耳不聽真道，偏向荒渺的言語。
4So they will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths.
5你卻要凡事謹慎，忍受苦難，做傳道的工夫，盡你的職分。
5But you, be sober in all things, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.
6我現在被澆奠，我離世的時候到了。
6For I am already being poured out like a drink offering, and the time of my departure is at hand.
7那美好的仗我已經打過了，當跑的路我已經跑盡了，所信的道我已經守住了。
7I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.
8從此以後，有公義的冠冕為我存留，就是按着公義審判的主到了那日要賜給我的；不但賜給我，也賜給凡愛慕他顯現的人。
8From now on there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but to all who crave His appearing.
9你要趕緊地到我這裏來。
9Make every effort to come to me quickly,
10因為 底馬 貪愛現今的世界，就離棄我往 帖撒羅尼迦 去了； 革勒士 往 加拉太 去； 提多 往 撻馬太 去；
10because Demas, in his love of this world, has deserted me and gone to Thessalonica. Crescens has gone to Galatia, and Titus to Dalmatia.
11獨有 路加 在我這裏。你來的時候，要把 馬可 帶來，因為他在傳道的事上於我有益處。
11Only Luke is with me. Get Mark and bring him with you, because he is useful to me in the ministry.
12我已經打發 推基古 往 以弗所 去。
12Tychicus, however, I have sent to Ephesus.
13我在 特羅亞 留於 加布 的那件外衣，你來的時候可以帶來，那些書也要帶來，更要緊的是那些皮卷。
13When you come, bring the cloak that I left with Carpus at Troas, and my scrolls, especially the parchments.
14銅匠 亞歷山大 多多地害我；主必照他所行的報應他。
14Alexander the coppersmith did great harm to me. The Lord will repay him according to his deeds.
15你也要防備他，因為他極力敵擋了我們的話。
15You too should beware of him, for he has vigorously opposed our message.
16我初次申訴，沒有人前來幫助，竟都離棄我；但願這罪不歸與他們。
16At my first defense, no one stood with me, but everyone deserted me. May it not be charged against them.
17惟有主站在我旁邊，加給我力量，使福音被我盡都傳明，叫外邦人都聽見；我也從獅子口裏被救出來。
17But the Lord stood by me and strengthened me, so that through me the message would be fully proclaimed, and all the Gentiles would hear it. So I was delivered from the mouth of the lion.
18主必救我脫離諸般的凶惡，也必救我進他的天國。願榮耀歸給他，直到永永遠遠。阿們。
18And the Lord will rescue me from every evil action and bring me safely into His heavenly kingdom. To Him be the glory forever and ever. Amen.
19問 百基拉 、 亞居拉 ，和 阿尼色弗 一家的人安。
19Greet Prisca and Aquila, as well as the household of Onesiphorus.
20以拉都 在 哥林多 住下了。 特羅非摩 病了，我就留他在 米利都 。
20Erastus has remained at Corinth, and Trophimus I left sick in Miletus.
21你要趕緊在冬天以前到我這裏來。有 友布羅 、 布田 、 利奴 、 革老底亞 ，和眾弟兄都問你安。
21Make every effort to come to me before winter. Eubulus sends you greetings, as do Pudens, Linus, Claudia, and all the brothers.
22願主與你的靈同在！願恩惠 常 與你們同在！
22The Lord be with your spirit. Grace be with you all.
