1I charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who will judge the living and the dead, and in view of His appearing and His kingdom:
2lok hae taphong ah; atue ah doeh, atue ai ah amsak coek ah; zaehaih to panoeksak ah, thuitaek ah, palungsawkhaih hoi patukhaih boih hoiah thapaek ah.
2Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and encourage with every form of patient instruction.
3Toenghaih loklam patuk ih lok tahngaih han koeh ai ih atue to pha tih, angmacae mah koeh o ih lok tahngaih hanah naa amthak pae o ueloe, nihcae mah koeh ih baktiah lok kathui thaih, patukkungnawk to pakrong o tih;
3For the time will come when men will not tolerate sound doctrine, but with itching ears they will gather around themselves teachers to suit their own desires.
4nihcae mah loktang lok to angqoi o taak ueloe, ruici baktiah thuih rumram ih lok to tahngai o lat tih.
4So they will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths.

11Only Luke is with me. Get Mark and bring him with you, because he is useful to me in the ministry.

14Alexander the coppersmith did great harm to me. The Lord will repay him according to his deeds.
15anih loe ka thuih o ih loknawk to aek koeh parai, to pongah anih to acoe ah.
15You too should beware of him, for he has vigorously opposed our message.

17But the Lord stood by me and strengthened me, so that through me the message would be fully proclaimed, and all the Gentiles would hear it. So I was delivered from the mouth of the lion.

21Make every effort to come to me before winter. Eubulus sends you greetings, as do Pudens, Linus, Claudia, and all the brothers.
22Angraeng Jesu Kri loe na poekhaih palungthin hoi nawnto om nasoe. Tahmenhaih nang khaeah om nasoe. Amen.
22The Lord be with your spirit. Grace be with you all.
