5¶ The sons of Japheth; Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras.
6Synové pak Gomerovi: Ascenez, Difat a Togorma.
6And the sons of Gomer; Ashchenaz, and Riphath, and Togarmah.
7Synové pak Javanovi: Elisa, Tarsis, Cetim a Rodanim.
7And the sons of Javan; Elishah, and Tarshish, Kittim, and Dodanim.
8Synové Chamovi: Chus, Mizraim, Put a Kanán.
8¶ The sons of Ham; Cush, and Mizraim, Put, and Canaan.
9A synové Chusovi: Sába, Evila, Sabata, Regma, Sabatacha. Synové pak Regmovi: Sába a Dedan.
9And the sons of Cush; Seba, and Havilah, and Sabta, and Raamah, and Sabtecha. And the sons of Raamah; Sheba, and Dedan.
10Zplodil také Chus Nimroda; ten počal mocným býti na zemi.
10And Cush begat Nimrod: he began to be mighty upon the earth.
11Mizraim pak zplodil Ludim, Anamim, Laabim a Neftuim,
11And Mizraim begat Ludim, and Anamim, and Lehabim, and Naphtuhim,
12Fetruzim také a Chasluim, (odkudž pošli Filistinští), a Kafturim.
12And Pathrusim, and Casluhim, (of whom came the Philistines,) and Caphthorim.
13Kanán pak zplodil Sidona, prvorozeného svého, a Het,
13And Canaan begat Zidon his firstborn, and Heth,
14A Jebuzea, Amorea a Gergezea,
14The Jebusite also, and the Amorite, and the Girgashite,
15A Hevea, Aracea a Sinea,
15And the Hivite, and the Arkite, and the Sinite,
16A Aradia, Samarea a Amatea.
16And the Arvadite, and the Zemarite, and the Hamathite.
17Synové Semovi: Elam, Assur, Arfaxad, Lud, Aram, Hus a Hul, Geter a Mas.
17¶ The sons of Shem; Elam, and Asshur, and Arphaxad, and Lud, and Aram, and Uz, and Hul, and Gether, and Meshech.
18A Arfaxad zplodil Sále, Sále pak zplodil Hebera.
18And Arphaxad begat Shelah, and Shelah begat Eber.
19Heberovi pak narodili se dva synové, z nichž jednoho jméno Peleg, proto že za dnů jeho rozdělena byla země, jméno pak bratra jeho Jektan.
19And unto Eber were born two sons: the name of the one was Peleg; because in his days the earth was divided: and his brother’s name was Joktan.
20Kterýžto Jektan zplodil Elmodada, Salefa, Azarmota a Járe,
20And Joktan begat Almodad, and Sheleph, and Hazarmaveth, and Jerah,
21A Adoráma, Uzala a Dikla,
21Hadoram also, and Uzal, and Diklah,
22A Ebale, Abimahele a Sebai,
22And Ebal, and Abimael, and Sheba,
23A Ofira, Evila a Jobaba. Všickni ti byli synové Jektanovi.
23And Ophir, and Havilah, and Jobab. All these were the sons of Joktan.
24Sem, Arfaxad, Sále,
24¶ Shem, Arphaxad, Shelah,
25Heber, Peleg, Réhu,
25Eber, Peleg, Reu,
26Sárug, Náchor, Táre,
26Serug, Nahor, Terah,
27Abram, ten jest Abraham.
27Abram; the same is Abraham.
28Synové Abrahamovi: Izák a Izmael.
28The sons of Abraham; Isaac, and Ishmael.
29Tito jsou rodové jejich: Prvorozený Izmaelův Nabajot, Cedar, Adbeel a Mabsan,
29¶ These are their generations: The firstborn of Ishmael, Nebaioth; then Kedar, and Adbeel, and Mibsam,
30Masma, Dumah, Massa, Hadad a Tema,
30Mishma, and Dumah, Massa, Hadad, and Tema,
31Jetur, Nafis a Cedma. Ti jsou synové Izmaelovi.
31Jetur, Naphish, and Kedemah. These are the sons of Ishmael.
32Synové pak Cetury, ženiny Abrahamovy: Ta porodila Zamrana, Jeksana, Madana, Madiana, Jezbocha a Suecha. Synové pak Jeksanovi: Sába a Dedan.
32¶ Now the sons of Keturah, Abraham’s concubine: she bare Zimran, and Jokshan, and Medan, and Midian, and Ishbak, and Shuah. And the sons of Jokshan; Sheba, and Dedan.
33Synové pak Madianovi: Efa, Efer, Enoch, Abida a Helda. Všickni ti synové Cetury.
33And the sons of Midian; Ephah, and Epher, and Henoch, and Abida, and Eldaah. All these are the sons of Keturah.
34Zplodil tedy Abraham Izáka. Synové pak Izákovi: Ezau a Izrael.
34And Abraham begat Isaac. The sons of Isaac; Esau and Israel.
35Synové Ezau: Elifaz, Rahuel, Jehus, Jhelom a Kore.
35¶ The sons of Esau; Eliphaz, Reuel, and Jeush, and Jaalam, and Korah.
36Synové Elifazovi: Teman, Omar, Sefi, Gatam, Kenaz a syn Tamny, totiž Amalech.
36The sons of Eliphaz; Teman, and Omar, Zephi, and Gatam, Kenaz, and Timna, and Amalek.
37Synové Rahuelovi: Nahat, Zára, Samma a Méza.
37The sons of Reuel; Nahath, Zerah, Shammah, and Mizzah.
38Synové pak Seir: Lotan, Sobal, Sebeon, Ana, Dison, Eser a Dízan.
38And the sons of Seir; Lotan, and Shobal, and Zibeon, and Anah, and Dishon, and Ezer, and Dishan.
39Synové pak Lotanovi: Hori a Homam. Sestra pak Lotanova: Tamna.
39And the sons of Lotan; Hori, and Homam: and Timna was Lotan’s sister.
40Synové Sobalovi: Alian, Manáhat, Ebal, Sefi a Onam. Synové pak Sebeonovi: Aia a Ana.
40The sons of Shobal; Alian, and Manahath, and Ebal, Shephi, and Onam. And the sons of Zibeon; Aiah, and Anah.
41Synové Anovi: Dison. A synové Disonovi: Hamran, Eseban, Jetran a Charan.
41The sons of Anah; Dishon. And the sons of Dishon; Amram, and Eshban, and Ithran, and Cheran.
42Synové Eser: Balaan, Závan a Jakan. Synové Dízonovi: Hus a Aran.
42The sons of Ezer; Bilhan, and Zavan, and Jakan. The sons of Dishan; Uz, and Aran.
43Tito pak jsou králové, kteříž kralovali v zemi Idumejské, prvé než kraloval který král z synů Izraelských: Béla syn Beorův, jehožto město jméno mělo Denaba.
43¶ Now these are the kings that reigned in the land of Edom before any king reigned over the children of Israel; Bela the son of Beor: and the name of his city was Dinhabah.
44A když umřel Béla, kraloval na místě jeho Jobab, syn Záre z Bozra.
44And when Bela was dead, Jobab the son of Zerah of Bozrah reigned in his stead.
45A když umřel Jobab, kraloval místo něho Husam z země Temanské.
45And when Jobab was dead, Husham of the land of the Temanites reigned in his stead.
46A když umřel Husam, kraloval místo něho Adad syn Badadův, kterýž porazil Madianské v krajině Moábské; jehož město jméno mělo Avith.
46And when Husham was dead, Hadad the son of Bedad, which smote Midian in the field of Moab, reigned in his stead: and the name of his city was Avith.
47A když umřel Adad, kraloval na místě jeho Semla z Masreka.
47And when Hadad was dead, Samlah of Masrekah reigned in his stead.
48A když umřel Semla, kraloval místo něho Saul z Rohobot řeky.
48And when Samlah was dead, Shaul of Rehoboth by the river reigned in his stead.
49A když umřel Saul, kraloval místo něho Bálanan, syn Achoborův.
49And when Shaul was dead, Baal-hanan the son of Achbor reigned in his stead.
50A když umřel Bálanan, kraloval místo něho Adad, jehož město řečené Pahu; jméno pak ženy jeho Mehetabel, dcera Matredy, dcery Mezábovy.
50And when Baal-hanan was dead, Hadad reigned in his stead: and the name of his city was Pai; and his wife’s name was Mehetabel, the daughter of Matred, the daughter of Mezahab.
51A když umřel Adad, byli vývodové Idumejští: Vývoda Tamna, vývoda Alja, vývoda Jetet,
51¶ Hadad died also. And the dukes of Edom were; duke Timnah, duke Aliah, duke Jetheth,
52Vývoda Olibama, vývoda Ela, vývoda Finon,
52Duke Aholibamah, duke Elah, duke Pinon,
53Vývoda Kenaz, vývoda Teman, vývoda Mabsar,
53Duke Kenaz, duke Teman, duke Mibzar,
54Vývoda Magdiel, vývoda Híram. Ti byli vývodové Idumejští.
54Duke Magdiel, duke Iram. These are the dukes of Edom.
