1The LORD said to Moses,
1І рече Господь Мойсейові:
2“Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them, ‘I am the LORD your God.
2Промов до синів Ізрайлевих і скажи їм: Я Господь, Бог ваш.
3You shall not do as they do in the land of Egypt, where you lived. You shall not do as they do in the land of Canaan, where I am bringing you. You shall not follow their statutes.
3Не будете ви ходити робом Египецької землї, де ви жили, і не будете ходити робом Канаан землї, куди приведу вас; і по установам тамешнім не будете жити.
4You shall do my ordinances. You shall keep my statutes and walk in them. I am the LORD your God.
4Суди мої сповняйте і установ моїх пильнуйте, щоб ходити в них. Я Господь, Бог ваш.
5You shall therefore keep my statutes and my ordinances, which if a man does, he shall live in them. I am the LORD.
5І будете сповняти установи мої й суди мої, котрі сповняючи, чоловік жити буде. Я Господь.
6“‘None of you shall approach any close relatives, to uncover their nakedness: I am the LORD.
6Нїхто не буде наближуватись до родички, щоб відкрити наготу її. Я Господь.
7“‘You shall not uncover the nakedness of your father, nor the nakedness of your mother: she is your mother. You shall not uncover her nakedness.
7Наготи батька і матері не відкривати меш; вона мати твоя, не відкриєш наготи її.
8“‘You shall not uncover the nakedness of your father’s wife. It is your father’s nakedness.
8Наготи жінки батькової не відкривати меш; нагота се батька твого.
9“‘You shall not uncover the nakedness of your sister, the daughter of your father, or the daughter of your mother, whether born at home or born abroad.
9Наготи сестри твоєї, дочки батька твого, або дочки матері твоєї, що родилась дома, чи осторонь родилась, не відкривати меш наготи її.
10“‘You shall not uncover the nakedness of your son’s daughter, or of your daughter’s daughter, even their nakedness; for theirs is your own nakedness.
10Наготи дочки сина твого, чи дочки твоєї дочки не відкривати меш; бо се твоя нагота.
11“‘You shall not uncover the nakedness of your father’s wife’s daughter, conceived by your father, since she is your sister.
11Наготи дочки в жінки батька твого, що родилась від батька твого, та що сестра тобі, наготи її не відкривати меш.
12“‘You shall not uncover the nakedness of your father’s sister. She is your father’s near kinswoman.
12Наготи сестри батька твого не відкривати меш; вона родичка батька твого.
13“‘You shall not uncover the nakedness of your mother’s sister, for she is your mother’s near kinswoman.
13Наготи сестри матері твоєі не відкривати меш; бо вона родичка матері твоєї.
14“‘You shall not uncover the nakedness of your father’s brother. You shall not approach his wife. She is your aunt.
14Наготи брата батька твого не відкривати меш: до жінки його не наближишся, вона тїтка тобі.
15“‘You shall not uncover the nakedness of your daughter-in-law. She is your son’s wife. You shall not uncover her nakedness.
15Наготи невістки твоєї не відкривати меш: вона жінка сина твого, не відкривати меш наготи її.
16“‘You shall not uncover the nakedness of your brother’s wife. It is your brother’s nakedness.
16Наготи жінки брата твого не відкривати меш; се нагота брата твого.
17“‘You shall not uncover the nakedness of a woman and her daughter. You shall not take her son’s daughter, or her daughter’s daughter, to uncover her nakedness. They are near kinswomen. It is wickedness.
17Наготи молодицї і дочки її не відкривати меш; дочки в сина її і дочки в дочки її не брати меш, щоб відкрити наготу її: родичі вони: се дїло соромне.
18“‘You shall not take a wife in addition to her sister, to be a rival, to uncover her nakedness, while her sister is still alive.
18І жінки в купі з сестрою не брати меш, щоб ревнувала, як відкривати меш наготу її коло неї за життя її.
19“‘You shall not approach a woman to uncover her nakedness, as long as she is impure by her uncleanness.
19І до молодицї в днї чищення її не наближувати мешся, щоб відкрити наготу її.
20“‘You shall not lie carnally with your neighbor’s wife, and defile yourself with her.
20А з жінкою ближнього твого не злягати мешся, щоб вийшло сїмя, та й опоганитись тобі із нею.
21“‘You shall not give any of your children as a sacrifice to Molech. You shall not profane the name of your God. I am the LORD.
21І сїмя твого не оддаси провести через огонь ради Молеха, і не паскудити меш імени Бога твого. Я Господь.
22“‘You shall not lie with a man as with a woman. That is detestable.
22І з музьким полом не зляжешся, як злягаєш з жінкою; гидота бо се.
23“‘You shall not lie with any animal to defile yourself with it. No woman may give herself to an animal, to lie down with it: it is a perversion.
23І нї з якою скотиною не зляжешся, та й опоганишся нею; і молодиця нехай не становиться перед скотиною, щоб злучитись; се огидне паскудство.
24“‘Don’t defile yourselves in any of these things; for in all these the nations which I am casting out before you were defiled.
24Не поганьтесь нїчим сим: бо сим усїм опоганились народи, що їх виганяю поперед вами.
25The land was defiled. Therefore I punished its iniquity, and the land vomited out her inhabitants.
25І спаскуджено землю, і покарав я провину її, і земля викинула осадників своїх.
26You therefore shall keep my statutes and my ordinances, and shall not do any of these abominations; neither the native-born, nor the stranger who lives as a foreigner among you
26Тим же то допильновуйте установ моїх і присудів моїх, і не чинїте нї однієї з гидот сих, нї земляне, нї приходнї, що пробувають між вами.
27(for the men of the land that were before you had done all these abominations, and the land became defiled),
27Усї бо гидоти сї чинили осадники землї сієї, що були перед вами, і спаскуджено землю;
28that the land not vomit you out also, when you defile it, as it vomited out the nation that was before you.
28Щоб не викинула вас земля, як опаскудите її, так як викинула народа, що був перед вами:
29“‘For whoever shall do any of these abominations, even the souls that do them shall be cut off from among their people.
29Бо кожне, хто чинити ме що з тих гидот, — душі, що се зроблять, викореняться із між людей своїх.
30Therefore you shall keep my requirements, that you do not practice any of these abominable customs which were practiced before you, and that you do not defile yourselves with them. I am the LORD your God.’”
30Оце ж допильновуйте заповідей моїх, щоб не витворяли огидних привичок, що витворялись перед вами, та й щоб не опаскудились ними. Я Господь, Бог ваш.
