Luka 15

Meriam Mir Gospels
Berean Standard Bible
1Ege telona uridili pako uit le, uiaba tabakeauare abim, uiaba lagelag asoli.
1Now all the tax collectors and sinners were gathering around to listen to Jesus.
2Epe Faresaio giz a aotale giz, uiaba mudi mer, kega, Abele le E kemem uit giz, epe uiaba ereueda okakis.
2So the Pharisees and scribes began to grumble: “This man welcomes sinners and eats with them.”
3Ege E uiabi daratagerare nerute mer babisdarie, kega,
3Then Jesus told them this parable:
4Nete uaba le nagri mamoe netate handed, ese nerute mamoe obadimirik, ikedi nainte nain sumez ge, E bakeamu deraimer mamoe badimirida, E lagelag uaerdar?
4“What man among you, if he has a hundred sheep and loses one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the pasture and go after the one that is lost, until he finds it?
5Ese E uaerdar, E uatekapsi, a sererege.
5And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders,
6Ese abi boai giz uaerdarare, ege abara debud a maike le uiaba etami okakis, ege E uiabi daratagerare, kega, Debele meriba sererege, abelelam kaka ko erdali kara mamoe ge badimirida.
6comes home, and calls together his friends and neighbors to tell them, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found my lost sheep!’
7Kaka uabi detager, kega, Mokakalam gaire le kotor ge au sererege le uit a emetu obazgeda, a kebi kebi sererege nainte nain le giz barkak nole dikiapor obazgeda.
7In the same way, I tell you that there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous ones who do not need to repent.
8Nete kosker nagri ten mani, ese nerute mani badimirida, E lamepa disirik, meta ge poipi ame, elele deraimer E lagelag uaerdar?
8Or what woman who has ten silver coins and loses one of them does not light a lamp, sweep her house, and search carefully until she finds it?
9Ese uaerdar, E darabgeri abara debud pako maikle giz, kega, Debele meriba sererege, abelelam kaka erdali abele mani badimirida.
9And when she finds it, she calls together her friends and neighbors to say, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found my lost coin.’
10Kaka uabi detager, kega, Mokakalam Ade ra angela kotor ge sererege, le uit a emetu obazgeda.
10In the same way, I tell you, there is joy in the presence of God’s angels over one sinner who repents.”
11Ege E uiabi daratagerare, Nerute le neisi abara uerem:
11Then Jesus said, “There was a man who had two sons.
12Ege keimer tabara aba detager, kega, Baba, ma kari nakuar kara lu. Ege abara lu erag uiabi naisuer.
12The younger son said to him, ‘Father, give me my share of the estate.’ So he divided his property between them.
13Ege uader gerger basemerare, ege keimered tabara lu etami okakis, ege bakeamulu nerute muriz gedim; E no adud tonar.
13After a few days, the younger son got everything together and journeyed to a distant country, where he squandered his wealth in wild living.
14Ege abara lu esemulu, abele ged uererege; ege nole leuer kak.
14After he had spent all he had, a severe famine swept through that country, and he began to be in need.
15E bakeamulu emeri nerute le erdar abele ged ge; E abi emariklu abele utebem borom asisiem.
15So he went and hired himself out to a citizen of that country, who sent him into his fields to feed the pigs.
16E au lagelag borom ra poipi leuer, iaueakai abara gem osmeda: nole le abi lu ikuar.
16He longed to fill his belly with the pods the pigs were eating, but no one would give him a thing.
17Ege E umele ge akailu, kega, kara Aba ra gaire memeg le, uiaba kaier areto gaire, a kaka uererege, mop ge eud!
17Finally he came to his senses and said, ‘How many of my father’s hired servants have plenty of food? But here I am, starving to death!
18Debele kaka nakueilu nabakeamulu karbara abem, a abi detager, Baba, kaka uit Le emeri kotor ge, pako mara opem:
18I will get up and go back to my father and say to him, “Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you.
19Nole abkoreb kaka mara uerem: debele kaka mokakalam nerute mara memeg le.
19I am no longer worthy to be called your son. Make me like one of your hired servants.”’
20E ekueilu bakeamulu tabara aba. Ege abi abet muriz ge erdali, epe E au nasenas, E au koreder, a abi erpei, a eskos.
20So he got up and went to his father. But while he was still in the distance, his father saw him and was filled with compassion. He ran to his son, embraced him, and kissed him.
21A ueremet abi detager, Baba, kaka emetu uit Le emeri kotor ge, pako mara opem: nole abkoreb kaka mara uerem.
21The son declared, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son.’
22Ege abet tabara memeg le giz daratagerare, kega, Debele tais perper am uali, debele ame; a ring ame abara tag, a teter gab ame:
22But the father said to his servants, ‘Quick! Bring the best robe and put it on him. Put a ring on his finger and sandals on his feet.
23Debele tais kebi kau toertoer, ipit abele, mi aroare, a sererege:
23Bring the fattened calf and kill it. Let us feast and celebrate.
24Abelelam kara uerem peike, E eumida, a ko eded akaida; E badimirida, a ko erdali. Ege uiaba sererege.
24For this son of mine was dead and is alive again! He was lost and is found!’ So they began to celebrate.
25Abara narbet uerem emeri sumez ge: E tabakeamulu maike uiaba meta ge, ege asoli uiaba uarup erem, a uedakiriare.
25Meanwhile the older son was in the field, and as he approached the house, he heard music and dancing.
26A E dabgeri nerute memeg le, a abi itimer, kega, Nalu pe ua ikereda?
26So he called one of the servants and asked what was going on.
27Ege E abi detager, kega, Mara le tabakeamuda; epe mara abet ipit kebi kau au toertoer, abelelam E ko erdali E nagri eded.
27‘Your brother has returned,’ he said, ‘and your father has killed the fattened calf, because he has him back safe and sound.’
28Epe E au ueku, umer kak bao meta ge: abara aba E osemelu adige, E abi okadersemer.
28The older son became angry and refused to go in. So his father came out and pleaded with him.
29Ege E abi detager, abara aba, kega, Dasmer, gaire urut kaka mara memeg le, gaire mara mer kaka nole batauered: ma nole kari ikuar kebi nani, ki sererege debudkem:
29But he answered his father, ‘Look, all these years I have served you and never disobeyed a commandment of yours. Yet you never gave me even a young goat so I could celebrate with my friends.
30Ege mara uerem peike, dedkoli mara lu okakis adud kosker, E tabakeamuda, ma pe ipit kebi kau abim.
30But when this son of yours returns from squandering your wealth with prostitutes, you kill the fattened calf for him!’
31Ege E abi detager, Kara uerem, mi emeri okakis, kara lu uridili, marim.
31‘Son, you are always with me,’ the father said, ‘and all that is mine is yours.
32Ege abkoreb mi sererege: abelelam mara le pedali, E eumida, a ko eded akaida; E badimirida, a ko erdali.
32But it was fitting to celebrate and be glad, because this brother of yours was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’”
