Ioane 1

Meriam Mir Gospels
Berean Standard Bible
1Abele Logo degraret, Ade dog abele Logo, a Ade Logo,
1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2E ko Ade dog degraret.
2He was with God in the beginning.
3E ge gaire lu detagem eseamulu; a nole nerute lu, E nole atagem kak.
3Through Him all things were made, and without Him nothing was made that has been made.
4Eded abi dog; a eded gaire le daratkeda.
4In Him was life, and that life was the light of men.
5Abele be de daratkeda muige kupkupi ge; a kupkup nole arpeir kak.
5The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.
6Ege nerute le tabaruk, Ade de temariklu, nei atker Ioane.
6There came a man who was sent from God. His name was John.
7E dali tabaruk ageakarem, abele lugem ko datki ageakarem, epe gaire le uridili odaratare abielam.
7He came as a witness to testify about the Light, so that through him everyone might believe.
8E dali nole abele datki, E tabaruk ko ageakarem datki penoka ekas.
8He himself was not the Light, but he came to testify about the Light.
9Abele datki kar, ko daratkeare gaire le uridili, sepem tabarkare.
9The true Light who gives light to every man was coming into the world.
10E geseb ge, a geseb abi atagemlam, a geseb nole abi ardar kak.
10He was in the world, and though the world was made through Him, the world did not recognize Him.
11E abara boai tabaruk, a abara boai nole abi agaret kak.
11He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him.
12Ui uridili abi egardare, a odaratarare abi nei de, E uiabim adigir nakuarare ko Ade ra omasker:
12But to all who did receive Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God—
13Uiaba nole mamlam aosos, a nole gem ra lag, a nole le ra lag, epe Adelam.
13children born not of blood, nor of the desire or will of man, but born of God.
14Logo depeger le gem ise, a E meribi dog emrilu, (a keriba abara zorom dasmerare, zorom mokakalam Aba ra Uerem netat,) mitkar omare, a ageakar.
14The Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us. We have seen His glory, the glory of the one and only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.
15Ioane abi ageakarem, a ereretikri, kega, Idali kaka detautili, kega, Nerute le kari sorge ikas au kale kari tumge; abelegelam E kekiam, ka keubu.
15John testified concerning Him. He cried out, saying, “This is He of whom I said, ‘He who comes after me has surpassed me because He was before me.’”
16Meriba uridili nagri no omare tumem no omare abi mitkarlam.
16From His fullness we have all received grace upon grace.
17Abele gelar Mose de dekuarare, abele omare a ageakar tonar, Iesu Kerisolam.
17For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.
18Nole le Ade asmer kak; epe abara Uerem tepteb taba Aba ra marmot, E etomeret.
18No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is Himself God and is at the Father’s side, has made Him known.
19Ge Ioane de ageakarem peik, uiabi Iudaia giz gaire zogo le a gaire Leui namarida Ierusalemlam, ko abi itmerare, kega, Ma nete?
19And this was John’s testimony when the Jews of Jerusalem sent priests and Levites to ask him, “Who are you?”
20E natomertare, a nole agem kak; a mamoro natomertare, kega, Kaka nole Keriso.
20He did not refuse to confess, but openly declared, “I am not the Christ.”
21Uiaba abi itmerare, kega, Ma nete? Ma Elia ao? E etkalu, kega, Kaka nolea. Ma perofeta ao? E etkalu, Nolea.
21“Then who are you?” they inquired. “Are you Elijah?” He said, “I am not.” “Are you the Prophet?” He answered, “No.”
22Uiaba abi detagerare, kega, Ma nete? Ma natkar keribi uiabim tedautare keribi pe tedemarida. Nako mara mer marielam?

23John replied in the words of Isaiah the prophet: “I am a voice of one calling in the wilderness, ‘Make straight the way for the Lord.’”
24Uader Faresaio taramarkare.
24Then the Pharisees who had been sent
25Uiaba abi itmerare, a abi detagerare, kega, Nalugem ma bapataiso, ese ma nole Keriso, a nole Elia, a nole nerute perofeta?

26Ioane uiabim etkalu, kega, Kaka bapataiso ni de; nerute uabi eipu ekuei uaba asmer kak,

31I myself did not know Him, but the reason I came baptizing with water was that He might be revealed to Israel.”

34Kaka dasmer, a kaka ageakarem, kega, Ade ra Uerem pedali.
