1Responde-me quando clamo, ó Deus da minha justiça. Dá-me alívio na minha angústia. Tem misericórdia de mim e ouve a minha oração.
1Answer me when I call, God of my righteousness. Give me relief from my distress. Have mercy on me, and hear my prayer.
2Vocês, filhos dos homens, até quando a minha glória será transformada em desonra? Amarão a vaidade e buscarão a falsidade? Selá.
2You sons of men, how long shall my glory be turned into dishonor? Will you love vanity and seek after falsehood? Selah.
3Saibam, porém, que o SENHOR separou para si aquele que é piedoso; O SENHOR ouvirá quando eu clamar a ele.
3But know that the LORD has set apart for himself him who is godly; The LORD will hear when I call to him.
4Tremam de temor, e não pequem. Sondem o próprio coração em sua cama, e fiquem em silêncio. Selá.
4Stand in awe, and don’t sin. Search your own heart on your bed, and be still. Selah.
5Ofereçam os sacrifícios de justiça. Ponham a sua confiança no SENHOR.
5Offer the sacrifices of righteousness. Put your trust in the LORD.
6Muitos dizem: “Quem nos mostrará algum bem?” SENHOR, faze a luz do teu rosto brilhar sobre nós.
6Many say, “Who will show us any good?” LORD, let the light of your face shine on us.
7Puseste alegria no meu coração, mais do que quando o trigo e o vinho novo deles se multiplicam.
7You have put gladness in my heart, more than when their grain and their new wine are increased.
8Em paz me deitarei e também dormirei, pois só tu, SENHOR, me fazes viver em segurança.
8In peace I will both lay myself down and sleep, for you alone, LORD, make me live in safety.
