1အထပ်ထပ်ဆုံးမ ခြင်းကိုခံ သော်လည်း၊ မိမိ လည်ပင်း ကို ခိုင်မာ စေသောသူ သည် ကိုးကွယ် ရာမ ရ၊ ရုတ်တရက် ပျက်စီး လိမ့်မည်။
1He that being often reproved hardeneth his neck shall suddenly be broken, and that without remedy.
2ဖြောင့်မတ် သောသူတို့သည် အခွင့် ရသောအခါ ၊ ပြည်သူ ပြည်သားတို့သည် ဝမ်းမြောက် တတ်ကြ၏။ မ တရားသောသူတို့သည် အုပ်စိုး သောအခါ မူကား ၊ ပြည်သူ ပြည်သားတို့သည် ဝမ်းနည်း တတ်ကြ၏။
2When the righteous are increased, the people rejoice; but when the wicked beareth rule, the people sigh.
3ပညာ တရားကို နှစ်သက် သောသူ သည် မိမိ အဘ ကို ဝမ်းမြောက် စေ၏။ ပြည်တန်ဆာ တို့နှင့် ပေါင်းဘော် သောသူမူကား ၊ ဥစ္စာ ပြုန်းတီး တတ်၏။
3Whoso loveth wisdom rejoiceth his father; but he that keepeth company with harlots wasteth his substance.
4တရား သဖြင့် စီရင်သောရှင် ဘုရင်သည် တိုင်းပြည် ကို တည် စေတတ်၏။ တံစိုး စားသော ရှင် ဘုရင်မူကား ၊ တိုင်းပြည် ကို မှောက်လှန် တတ်၏။
4The king by justice establisheth the land; but he that exacteth gifts overthroweth it.
5အိမ်နီးချင်း ကို ချော့မော့ သောသူ သည် အိမ်နီးချင်း သွား ရာလမ်း၌ ကွန်ရွက် ကို ဖြန့် ထား၏။
5A man that flattereth his neighbour spreadeth a net for his steps.
6အဓမ္မ လူ ပြစ်မှား ရာ၌ ကျော့ကွင်း ထောင်လျက် ရှိ၏။ ဖြောင့်မတ် သောသူမူကား ၊ ရွှင်လန်း စွာ သီချင်း ဆိုတတ်၏။
6In the transgression of an evil man there is a snare; but the righteous doth sing and rejoice.
7ဖြောင့်မတ် သောသူသည် ဆင်းရဲသား အမှု ကို ဆင်ခြင် တတ်၏။ မ တရားသောသူမူကား၊ ထိုအမှုကို ပမာဏ မပြုတတ်။
7The righteous taketh knowledge of the cause of the poor; the wicked understandeth not knowledge.
8မထီမဲ့မြင် ပြုသောသူ တို့ သည် မြို့ ကို မီးရှို့ တတ် ၏။ ပညာရှိ သောသူတို့ မူကား ၊ ဒေါသအမျက် ကို လွှဲ တတ် ၏။
8Scornful men set a city in a blaze; but wise men turn away wrath.
9ပညာရှိ သောသူ သည် မိုက် သောသူ နှင့် အမှု တွေ့လျှင် ၊ စိတ်ဆိုး သည်ဖြစ်စေ ၊ ပြုံးရယ် သည်ဖြစ်စေ ၊ အားရ စရာအကြောင်းမ ရှိ။
9If a wise man contendeth with a foolish man, whether he be angry or laugh, there will be no rest.
10လူ အသက်ကိုသတ် တတ်သောသူတို့သည် စုံလင် သောသူကို မုန်း တတ်ကြ၏။ ဖြောင့်မတ် သောသူတို့ မူကား ၊ သူတပါး အသက် ကို စောင့်မ တတ်ကြ၏။
10The men of blood hate him that is sincere; and as for the upright, they seek his life.
11မိုက် သောသူသည် မိမိ ကြံစည် သမျှ ကို ဘော်ပြ တတ်၏။ ပညာ ရှိသောသူမူကား ၊ အဆင် မသင့်မှီ ထိမ်ဝှက် တတ်၏။
11A fool spendeth all his spirit; but a wise man stilleth it within him.
12မင်း သည်မုသာ စကား ကို နားထောင် လျှင်၊ ကျွန် အပေါင်း တို့သည် လူဆိုး ဖြစ်ကြလိမ့်မည်။
12If a ruler hearkeneth to falsehood, all his servants are wicked.
13ဆင်းရဲ သောသူနှင့် ညှဉ်းဆဲ သောသူ တို့သည် တွေ့ကြုံ ကြပြီ။ ထာဝရဘုရား သည် ထို နှစ်ဦး တို့အား အလင်း ကိုပေး သနားတော်မူ၏။
13The poor man and the oppressor meet together; the LORD giveth light to the eyes of them both.
14ဆင်းရဲသား တို့ကို တရား သဖြင့် စီရင် သော ရှင်ဘုရင် ၏အာဏာ တော်သည် အစဉ်အမြဲ တည် တတ်၏။
14The king that faithfully judgeth the poor, his throne shall be established for ever.
15ကြိမ်လုံး နှင့်ရိုက်ခြင်း၊ နှုတ်နှင့်ဆုံးမ ခြင်းအားဖြင့် ပညာ တိုးပွါး တတ်၏။ တတ် တိုင်းနေစေသော သူငယ် သည် အမိ ကို အရှက်ခွဲ တတ်၏။
15The rod and reproof give wisdom; but a child left to himself causeth shame to his mother.
16မ တရားသောသူတို့သည် များပြား သောအခါ ၊ လွန်ကျူး ခြင်းအပြစ်တိုးပွား တတ်၏။ သို့ရာတွင် ၊ သူ တို့ ပျက်စီး ခြင်းကို ဖြောင့်မတ် သောသူတို့သည် မြင် ရကြ၏။
16When the wicked are increased, transgression increaseth; but the righteous shall gaze upon their fall.
17သင် ၏သား ကို ဆုံးမ လော့။ သို့ပြုလျှင် သူသည် သင့် ကို ချမ်းသာ ပေးမည်။ ထိုမျှ မက စိတ် ရွှင်လန်း စရာ အခွင့်ကို ပေး မည်။
17Correct thy son, and he will give thee rest; yea, he will give delight unto thy soul.
18ဗျာဒိတ် တော်မ ရှိလျှင် ၊ လူ တို့သည် အကျိုးနည်း ဖြစ်ကြ၏။ တရား တော်ကို စောင့် သောသူမူကား မင်္ဂလာ ရှိ ၏။
18Where there is no vision, the people cast off restraint; but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.
19စကား အားဖြင့် သာ ကျွန် ကို ဆုံးမ ၍ မ နိုင်ရာ။ သူသည်နားလည် သော်လည်း ၊ နား မ ထောင်ဘဲ နေလိမ့်မည်။
19A servant will not be corrected by words; for though he understand, there will be no response.
20သတိ မရှိဘဲစကား များသော သူရှိ လျှင်၊ ထိုသူ ၌ မြော်လင့် စရာအခွင့်ရှိသည်ထက်၊ မိုက် သောသူ၌ သာ၍ မြော်လင့်စရာ အခွင့်ရှိ၏။
20Seest thou a man that is hasty in his words? there is more hope for a fool than for him.
21ကျွန် သည်ငယ် သော အရွယ်မှစ၍ ပျော်ပါး အောင် ကျွေးမွေးခြင်းကိုခံရလျှင် ၊ နောက်ဆုံး ၌ သား အရာကို ရ လိမ့်မည်။
21He that delicately bringeth up his servant from a child shall have him become master at the last.
22စိတ်ဆိုး တတ်သောသူ သည် ခိုက်ရန် မှုကို နှိုးဆော် တတ်၏။ ပြင်းထန် သောသူ သည်လည်း ၊ အလွန်အကျူး များ တတ်၏။
22An angry man stirreth up strife, and a wrathful man aboundeth in transgression.
23မိမိ မာန သည် မိမိ ကိုနှိမ့်ချ လိမ့်မည်။ စိတ် နှိမ့်ချ သောသူမူကား ၊ ဂုဏ် အသရေကိုရ လိမ့်မည်။
23A man's pride shall bring him low; but he that is of a lowly spirit shall attain to honour.
24သူခိုး ကို လက်ခံ သောသူသည် မိမိ အသက် ကိုမုန်း တတ်၏။ ကျိန်ဆို ခြင်းကိုပြု သော်လည်း ၊ အမှုကိုမ ဘော် မပြတတ်။
24Whoso is partner with a thief hateth his own soul: he heareth the adjuration and uttereth nothing.
25လူ ကိုကြောက်ရွံ့ ခြင်း သဘောသည် ကျော့ကွင်း ကို ထောင် တတ်၏။ ထာဝရဘုရား ကို ခိုလှုံ သောသူမူကား လုံခြုံလိမ့်မည်။
25The fear of man bringeth a snare; but whoso putteth his trust in the LORD shall be set up on high.
26မင်း ပြုသောကျေးဇူး ကိုများ သောသူတို့သည် ကြိုးစား၍ ရှာ တတ်ကြ၏။ သို့ရာတွင် ခပ်သိမ်းသောသူတို့ ၏အမှုကို ထာဝရဘုရား စီရင် တော်မူ၏။
26Many seek the ruler's favour; but a man's judgment cometh from the LORD.
27တရား သောသူသည် မ တရားသောသူ ကို၎င်း၊ မ တရားသောသူသည်တရား သဖြင့် ကျင့် သောသူကို၎င်း၊ စက်ဆုပ် ရွံရှာတတ်၏။
27An unjust man is an abomination to the righteous; and he that is upright in the way is an abomination to the wicked.
