Psalmorum 122
Clementine Vulgate, 1598Translation
Clementine Vulgate, 1598
King James Version with Apocrypha
1Canticum graduum. [Ad te levavi oculos meos, qui habitas in cælis.
1I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the LORD .
2Ecce sicut oculi servorum in manibus dominorum suorum; sicut oculi ancillæ in manibus dominæ suæ: ita oculi nostri ad Dominum Deum nostrum, donec misereatur nostri.
2Our feet shall stand within thy gates, O Jerusalem.
3Miserere nostri, Domine, miserere nostri, quia multum repleti sumus despectione;
3Jerusalem is builded as a city that is compact together:
4quia multum repleta est anima nostra opprobrium abundantibus, et despectio superbis.]
4Whither the tribes go up, the tribes of the LORD , unto the testimony of Israel, to give thanks unto the name of the LORD .
