Bible Mutal (Kosraean)
Douay-Rheims Bible, American Edition (1899)
1Ke sun len in Pentecost, mwet lulalfongi nukewa fahsreni nu in acn sefanna.
1And when the days of the Pentecost were accomplished, they were all together in one place:
2In pacl sacna sie pusra lulap kasla yen engyeng uh, oana pusren sie eng na upa, ac nwakla in lohm se elos muta loac ah nufon.
2And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a mighty wind coming, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting.
3Na elos liye kutu ma su oana luman loh ma firir, su fahsrelik ac tuhwi fin kais sie mwet in acn sac.
3And there appeared to them parted tongues as it were of fire, and it sat upon every one of them:
4Elos nukewa sessesla ke Ngun Mutal ac mutawauk in kaskas ke kutena kain in kas, oana ke Ngun sang nu selos in fahk.
4And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they began to speak with divers tongues, according as the Holy Ghost gave them to speak.
5Oasr mwet Jew su muta in Jerusalem, mwet lun alu, su tuku liki mutunfacl nukewa fin faclu.
5Now there were dwelling at Jerusalem, Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven.
6Ke elos lohng pusra se inge, sie u na lulap fahsreni nu in acn sac. Elos nukewa arulana lut, mweyen kais sie selos lohng ke mwet lulalfongi inge elos sramsram ke kas lalos sifacna.
6And when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded in mind, because that every man heard them speak in his own tongue.
7Ke lut lulap ac fwefela lalos elos fahk, “Mwet inge su kaskas ouinge uh elos mwet Galilee!
7And they were all amazed, and wondered, saying: Behold, are not all these, that speak, Galileans?
8Na fuka tuh kut lohng elos sramsram ke kain in kas lun kais sie mutunfacl sesr uh?
8And how have we heard, every man our own tongue wherein we were born?
9Kut mwet Parthia, Media, ac Elam; oayapa Mesopotamia, Judea, ac Cappadocia; Pontus ac Asia,
9Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and inhabitants of Mesopotamia, Judea, and Cappadocia, Pontus and Asia,

11Jews also, and proselytes, Cretes, and Arabians: we have heard them speak in our own tongues the wonderful works of God.
12Ke lut lulap ac fohsak lalos, elos asiyuki na inmasrlolos, “Mea kalmen ma inge?”
12And they were all astonished, and wondered, saying one to another: What meaneth this?
13A kutu sin mwet uh aksruksruk ke mwet lulalfongi, ac fahk mu, “Mwet inge sruhi!”
13But others mocking, said: These men are full of new wine.
14Na Peter el tuyak wi mwet sap singoul sie, ac fahkak ke sie pusra lulap nu sin un mwet uh: “Mwet Jew wiasr, ac kowos nukewa su muta in Jerusalem, porongeyu ke nga ac aketeya kalmen ma inge nu suwos.
14But Peter standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and spoke to them: Ye men of Judea, and all you that dwell in Jerusalem, be this known to you, and with your ears receive my words.
15Mwet inge tia sruhi oana ke kowos nunku an; tufahna ao eu ke lotutang uh pa inge.
15For these are not drunk, as you suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day:
16A pwayeiya uh, pa inge ma se mwet palu Joel el tuh fahk kac:
16But this is that which was spoken of by the prophet Joel:
17‘God El fahk, Pa inge ma nga ac oru ke len safla uh, Nga fah oru tuh ngun mutal luk in tuku nu fin mwet nukewa. Wen nutuwos ac acn nutuwos elos ac fah sulkakin kas luk; Mukul fusr lowos elos ac fah liye aruruma sin God me, Ac mukul matu lowos elos ac fah mwemei ma pwaye lun God.
17And it shall come to pass, in the last days, (saith the Lord,) I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams.
18Aok, finne mwet kulansap luk, mukul ac mutan, Nga ac fah sang ngun luk nu faclos in len ingo, Ac elos ac fah wi pac sulkakin kas luk.
18And upon my servants indeed, and upon my handmaids will I pour out in those days of my spirit, and they shall prophesy.
19Nga ac fah oru ma usrnguk in acn engyeng uh, Ac ma sakirik fin faclu ten. Ac fah oasr pac srah, e, ac kulasr matoltol;
19And I will shew wonders in the heaven above, and signs on the earth beneath: blood and fire, and vapour of smoke.
20Faht uh ac fah lohsrla, Ac malem uh srusrala oana srah, Meet liki Len lulap ac wolana lun Leum ac fah tuku.
20The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and manifest day of the Lord come.
21Na kutena mwet su pang in suk kasru sin Leum elos fah moul.’
21And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord, shall be saved.
22“Kowos mwet Israel, porongo kas luk! Jesus lun Nazareth el sie mwet, su ku lulap lal akpwayeiyuk tari ye motowos nukewa ke mwenmen ac orekma usrnguk su God El sang ku nu sel in oru. Kowos sifacna etu ma inge, mweyen orek inmasrlowos.
22Ye men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you, by miracles, and wonders, and signs, which God did by him, in the midst of you, as you also know:
23God El sifacna oakiya meet lah El ac eisalot Jesus nu inpouwos, ac kowos sang tuh mwet koluk in unilya fin sakseng soko.
23This same being delivered up, by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, you by the hands of wicked men have crucified and slain.
24Tusruk God El akmoulyalak liki misa, ac aksukosokyal liki ku lun misa, mweyen misa tia ku in sruokilya oana sie mwet kapir.
24Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the sorrows of hell, as it was impossible that he should be holden by it.
25Tuh David el fahk ouinge kacl, ‘Nga liye Leum God ye mutuk in pacl nukewa; El apkuran nu sik, ac nga ac fah tiana fosrnga.
25For David saith concerning him: I foresaw the Lord before my face: because he is at my right hand, that I may not be moved.
26Ke ma inge nga arulana insewowo, Ac kas luk sessesla ke engan. Mensis nga ac finne misa, A nga fah inse misla ke sripen finsrak luk,
26For this my heart hath been glad, and any tongue hath rejoiced: moreover my flesh also shall rest in hope.
27Mweyen kom ac fah tiana sisyula in facl lun mwet misa; Kom ac fah tia lela mwet kulansap oaru lom in kulawi in kulyuk uh.
27Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, nor suffer thy Holy One to see corruption.
28Kom fahkak tari nu sik inkanek nu ke moul, Ac apkuran lom nu sik ac fah nwekyula ke engan.’
28Thou hast made known to me the ways of life: thou shalt make me full of joy with thy countenance.
29“Mwet lili luk, nga enenu in kaskas na kalem nu suwos kacl David, papa matu pwengpeng tumasr. El tuh misa ac pukpuki, ac kulyuk lal uh pa na oan yorosr nwe misenge.
29Ye men, brethren, let me freely speak to you of the patriarch David; that he died, and was buried; and his sepulchre is with us to this present day.
30El sie mwet palu, ac el etu ma God El wuleang nu sel ah: God El orala wulela na ku se nu sel mu El ac fah oru tuh sie sin fita natul pa ac tokosra oana el.
30Whereas therefore he was a prophet, and knew that God hath sworn to him with an oath, that of the fruit of his loins one should sit upon his throne.
31David el liye ma God El ako in oru inge, ouinge el kaskaskin sifil moulyak lun Christ ke el fahk mu, ‘Tiana sisyukla el in facl sin mwet misa; Manol tuh tiana kulawi oan inkulyuk uh.’
31Foreseeing this, he spoke of the resurrection of Christ. For neither was he left in hell, neither did his flesh see corruption.
32God El tuh akmoulyauk Jesus se inge liki misa, ac kut nukewa mwet loh kac.
32This Jesus hath God raised again, whereof all we are witnesses.
33Being exalted therefore by the right hand of God, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath poured forth this which you see and hear.
34Mweyen tia David pa tuh som nu lucng ah; a David el tuh fahk, ‘Leum God El fahk nu sin Leum luk: Muta inge, ke lac po layot sik,
34For David ascended not into heaven; but he himself said: The Lord said to my Lord, sit thou on my right hand,
35Nwe ke nga filiya mwet lokoalok lom in oana ma loangeyen niom.’
35Until I make thy enemies thy footstool.
36“Ke ma inge, wona kowos mwet Israel nukewa in arulana etu kalem, lah Jesus se inge su kowos srupusrak fin sakseng, pa God El orala tuh elan Leum ac Christ!”
36Therefore let all the house of Israel know most certainly, that God hath made both Lord and Christ, this same Jesus, whom you have crucified.
37Ke mwet uh lohng ma inge, arulana fakisya insialos, na elos fahk nu sel Peter ac mwet sap ngia, “Mwet lili, mea kut ac oru uh?”
37Now when they had heard these things, they had compunction in their heart, and said to Peter, and to the rest of the apostles: What shall we do, men and brethren?
38Peter el fahk nu selos, “Kais sie suwos enenu in forla liki ma koluk lal, ac baptaisla inen Jesus Christ, tuh ma koluk lowos fah nunak munas nu suwos; ac kowos fah eis mwe kite lun God ke Ngun Mutal.
38But Peter said to them: Do penance, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ, for the remission of your sins: and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
39Tuh wulela lun God orekla nu suwos ac nu sin tulik nutuwos, oayapa mwet nukewa su muta yen loessula — elos nukewa su Leum God lasr El pangonma nu yorol.”
39For the promise is to you, and to your children, and to all that are far off, whomsoever the Lord our God shall call.
40Peter el kwafe ouinge nu selos ke kas in akku puspis saya, ac fahk, “Sifacna molikowosla liki mwe kai su ac sikyak nu sin fwil se inge su arulana koluk.”
40And with very many other words did he testify and exhort them, saying: Save yourselves from this perverse generation.
41Mwet puspis selos lulalfongi kas lal Peter ac baptaisla, ac akuran tolu tausin mwet pa wela u sac ke len sac.
41They therefore that received his word, were baptized; and there were added in that day about three thousand souls.
42Elos arulana eisalosyang in porongo ac lutlut sin mwet sap uh, oayapa aengani yurin sie sin sie, ac wi pac ipeis ke kufwa in kunsalik bread, ac pre.
42And they were persevering in the doctrine of the apostles, and in the communication of the breaking of bread, and in prayers.
43Mwet sap elos oru ma sakirik ac mwenmen puspis, ac mwet uh arulana lut ke ma inge.
43And fear came upon every soul: many wonders also and signs were done by the apostles in Jerusalem, and there was great fear in all.
44Mwet lulalfongi nukewa elos arulana insese ac tukeni akasrui sie sin sie ke ma lalos.
44And all they that believed, were together, and had all things common.
45Elos kukakunla acn ac ma lalos, ac kitalik mani kac uh nu sin mwet nukewa, fal nu ke lupan enenu lun kais sie.
45Their possessions and goods they sold, and divided them to all, according as every one had need.
46Len nukewa elos tukeni nu in Tempul, ac ke pacl in mongo elos tukeni in lohm selos ke engan ac inse pusisel.
46And continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they took their meat with gladness and simplicity of heart;
47Elos kaksakin God ac elos ohi yurin mwet nukewa. Ac Leum El akpusyelik mwet in u sac len nukewa ke mwet su moliyukla.
47Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord increased daily together such as should be saved.
