1And this was the lot for the tribe of Manasseh; for he was the first-born of Joseph. As for Machir the first-born of Manasseh, the father of Gilead, because he was a man of war, therefore he had Gilead and Bashan.
1玛拿西 是 约瑟 的长子，他的支派拈阄所得之地记在下面。至于 玛拿西 的长子 基列 之父 玛吉 ，因为是勇士就得了 基列 和 巴珊 。
2And the lot was for the rest of the children of Manasseh according to their families; for the children of Abiezer, and for the children of Helek, and for the children of Asriel, and for the children of Shechem, and for the children of Hepher, and for the children of Shemida; these were the male children of Manasseh the son of Joseph according to their families.
2玛拿西 其余的子孙，按着宗族 拈阄分地 ，就是 亚比以谢 子孙， 希勒 子孙， 亚斯列 子孙， 示剑 子孙， 希弗 子孙， 示米大 子孙；这些按着宗族，都是 约瑟 儿子 玛拿西 子孙的男丁。
3But Zelophehad, the son of Hepher, the son of Gilead, the son of Machir, the son of Manasseh, had no sons, but daughters; and these are the names of his daughters: Mahlah, and Noah, Hoglah, Milcah, and Tirzah.
3玛拿西 的玄孙， 玛吉 的曾孙， 基列 的孙子， 希弗 的儿子 西罗非哈 没有儿子，只有女儿。他的女儿名叫 玛拉 、 挪阿 、 曷拉 、 密迦 、 得撒 ；
4And they came near before Eleazar the priest, and before Joshua the son of Nun, and before the princes, saying: 'The LORD commanded Moses to give us an inheritance among our brethren'; therefore according to the commandment of the LORD he gave them an inheritance among the brethren of their father.
4她们来到祭司 以利亚撒 和 嫩 的儿子 约书亚 并众首领面前，说：「耶和华曾吩咐 摩西 在我们弟兄中分给我们产业。」于是 约书亚 照耶和华所吩咐的，在她们伯叔中，把产业分给她们。
5And there fell ten parts to Manasseh, beside the land of Gilead and Bashan, which is beyond the Jordan;
5除了 约旦河 东的 基列 和 巴珊 地之外，还有十分地归 玛拿西 ，
6because the daughters of Manasseh had an inheritance among his sons; and the land of Gilead belonged unto the rest of the sons of Manasseh.
6因为 玛拿西 的孙女们在 玛拿西 的孙子中得了产业。 基列 地是属 玛拿西 其余的子孙。
7And the border of Manasseh was, beginning from Asher, Michmethath, which is before Shechem; and the border went along to the right hand, unto the inhabitants of En-tappuah. —
7玛拿西 的境界：从 亚设 起，到 示剑 前的 密米他 ，往北到 隐·他普亚 居民 之地 。
8The land of Tappuah belonged to Manasseh; but Tappuah on the border of Manasseh belonged to the children of Ephraim. —
8他普亚 地归 玛拿西 ，只是 玛拿西 境界上的 他普亚 城 归 以法莲 子孙。
9And the border went down unto the brook of Kanah, southward of the brook, by cities which belonged to Ephraim among the cities of Manasseh; but the border of Manasseh was on the north side of the brook; and the goings out thereof were at the sea:
9其界下到 加拿河 的南边。在 玛拿西 城邑中的这些城邑都归 以法莲 。 玛拿西 的地界是在河北直通到海为止；
10southward it was Ephraim's, and northward it was Manasseh's, and the sea was his border; and they reached to Asher on the north, and to Issachar on the east.
10南归 以法莲 ，北归 玛拿西 ，以海为界；北边到 亚设 ，东边到 以萨迦 。
11And Manasseh had in Issachar and in Asher Beth-shean and its towns, and Ibleam and its towns, and the inhabitants of Dor and its towns, and the inhabitants of En-dor and its towns, and the inhabitants of Taanach and its towns, and the inhabitants of Megiddo and its towns, even the three regions.
11玛拿西 在 以萨迦 和 亚设 境内，有 伯·善 和属 伯·善 的镇市， 以伯莲 和属 以伯莲 的镇市， 多珥 的居民和属 多珥 的镇市；又有三处山冈，就是 隐·多珥 和属 隐·多珥 的镇市； 他纳 的居民和属 他纳 的镇市， 米吉多 的居民和属 米吉多 的镇市。
12Yet the children of Manasseh could not drive out the inhabitants of those cities; but the Canaanites were resolved to dwell in that land.
12只是 玛拿西 子孙不能赶出这些城的 居民 ， 迦南 人偏要住在那地。
13And it came to pass, when the children of Israel were waxen strong, that they put the Canaanites to taskwork, but did not utterly drive them out.
13及至 以色列 人强盛了，就使 迦南 人做苦工，没有把他们全然赶出。
14And the children of Joseph spoke unto Joshua, saying: 'Why hast thou given me but one lot and one part for an inheritance, seeing I am a great people, forasmuch as the LORD hath blessed me thus?'
14约瑟 的子孙对 约书亚 说：「耶和华到如今既然赐福与我们，我们也族大人多，你为什么仅将一阄一段之地分给我们为业呢？」
15And Joshua said unto them: 'If thou be a great people, get thee up to the forest, and cut down for thyself there in the land of the Perizzites and of the Rephaim; since the hill-country of Ephraim is too narrow for thee.'
15约书亚 说：「你们如果族大人多，嫌 以法莲 山地窄小，就可以上 比利洗 人、 利乏音 人之地，在树林中砍伐 树木 。」
16And the children of Joseph said: 'The hill-country will not be enough for us; and all the Canaanites that dwell in the land of the valley have chariots of iron, both they who are in Beth-shean and its towns, and they who are in the valley of Jezreel.'
16约瑟 的子孙说：「那山地容不下我们，并且住平原的 迦南 人，就是住 伯·善 和属 伯·善 的镇市，并住 耶斯列 平原的人，都有铁车。」
17And Joshua spoke unto the house of Joseph, even to Ephraim and to Manasseh, saying: 'Thou art a great people, and hast great power; thou shalt not have one lot only;
17约书亚 对 约瑟 家，就是 以法莲 和 玛拿西 人，说：「你是族大人多，并且强盛，不可仅有一阄之地，
18but the hill-country shall be thine; for though it is a forest, thou shalt cut it down, and the goings out thereof shall be thine; for thou shalt drive out the Canaanites, though they have chariots of iron, and though they be strong.'
18山地也要归你，虽是树林，你也可以砍伐；靠近之地必归你。 迦南 人虽有铁车，虽是强盛，你也能把他们赶出去。」
