1Moreover Elihu answered and said:
1တဖန် ဧလိဟု ဆက်၍ မြွက်ဆို သည်ကား၊
2Hear my words, ye wise men; and give ear unto me, ye that have knowledge.
2အကြားအမြင်များသော ပညာရှိ တို့၊ ငါ့ စကား ကို နားထောင် နာယူ ကြလော့။
3For the ear trieth words, as the palate tasteth food.
3ခံတွင်း သည် အစာကို မြည်းစမ်း သကဲ့သို့၊ နား သည် စကား ကို စုံစမ်း တတ်၏။
4Let us choose for us that which is right; let us know among ourselves what is good.
4ငါတို့သည် ကိုယ် အဘို့ အလိုငှါ စစ် ၍တရား သဖြင့် စီရင်ကြကုန်အံ့။ ကောင်း သောအရာ ကို ကိုယ်တိုင် အားဖြင့်သိမှတ် ကြကုန်အံ့။
5For Job hath said: 'I am righteous, and God hath taken away my right;
5ယောဘ က၊ ငါဖြောင့်မတ် ၏။ ဘုရား သခင်သည် ငါ့ ကို အမှု ရှုံး စေတော်မူ၏။
6Notwithstanding my right I am accounted a liar; my wound is incurable, though I am without transgression.'
6ငါသည် ကိုယ်အကျိုးကို ပျက်စီးစေခြင်းငှါ မုသာပြောရမည်လော။ ငါမပြစ်မှားသော်လည်း၊ မပျောက်နိုင်သောအနာရောဂါစွဲပါသည်တကားဟု ဆိုမိပြီ။
7What man is like Job, who drinketh up scorning like water?
7ယောဘ နှင့် တူသော သူ တစုံတယောက်ရှိလိမ့်မည်လော။ ရေ ကို သောက်သကဲ့သို့ ကဲ့ရဲ့ ခြင်းကို မျို တတ်၏။
8Who goeth in company with the workers of iniquity, and walketh with wicked men.
8မ တရားသဖြင့်ကျင့် သောသူတို့ နှင့် ပေါင်းဘော် ၍၊ လူဆိုး တို့နှင့် သွား လာတတ်၏။
9For he hath said: 'It profiteth a man nothing that he should be in accord with God.'
9လူ သည်ဘုရား သခင်၌ မွေ့လျော် ၍၊ အကျိုး မ ရှိဟု ယောဘသည် ဆို မိပြီ။
10Therefore hearken unto me, ye men of understanding: Far be it from God, that He should do wickedness; and from the Almighty, that He should commit iniquity.
10သို့ဖြစ်၍ ဉာဏ်ကောင်းသောသူတို့၊ ငါ့ စကားကို နားထောင် ကြလော့။ ဒုစရိုက် သည် ဘုရား သခင်နှင့် ၎င်း ၊ အပြစ် သည် အနန္တ တန်ခိုးရှင်နှင့်၎င်း ဝေး ပါစေ။
11For the work of a man will He requite unto him, and cause every man to find according to his ways.
11လူ ပြုသော အမှု ၏အကျိုးအပြစ်ကိုပေး တော်မူမည်။ လူတိုင်း ကိုယ်ကျင့်သောအကျင့်နှင့်အထိုက် အလျောက်ခံစေတော်မူမည်။
12Yea, of a surety, God will not do wickedly, neither will the Almighty pervert justice.
12အကယ် စင်စစ်ဘုရား သခင်သည် ဒုစရိုက် ကို ပြုတော်မ မူ။ အနန္တ တန်ခိုးရှင်သည် မ တရားသဖြင့် စီရင် တော်မ မူ။
13Who gave Him a charge over the earth? Or who hath disposed the whole world?
13မြေကြီး ကို ဘုရားသခင်၌ အဘယ်သူ အပ် သနည်း။ လောကဓါတ်လုံး ကို အဘယ်သူ စီရင်ပြုပြင် သနည်း။
14If He set His heart upon man, if He gather unto Himself his spirit and his breath;
14ဘုရားသခင်သည် လူကို အလို တော်မရှိ၍ ၊ လူ၏အသက် ဝိညာဉ် ကို ရုပ်သိမ်း တော်မူလျှင်၊
15All flesh shall perish together, and man shall return unto dust.
15ခပ်သိမ်း သော လူ သတ္တဝါတို့သည် ချက်ခြင်း သေ ပျောက်၍ မြေမှုန့် သို့ တဖန် ရောက်ရကြလိမ့်မည်။
16If now thou hast understanding, hear this; hearken to the voice of my words.
16ယခု မှာသင်သည် ဉာဏ် ရှိသည်ဖြစ်၍ ဆင်ခြင် ဦးလော့။ ငါ့ စကား သံ ကို နားထောင် ဦးလော့။
17Shall even one that hateth right govern? And wilt thou condemn Him that is just and mighty —
17တရား ကို မုန်း သောသူသည် အစိုးရ ရမည်လော။ တရား သဖြင့် စီရင်၍ တန်ခိုး ကြီးသောသူကို အပြစ် တင်သင့်သလော။
18Is it fit to say to a king: 'Thou art base'? Or to nobles: 'Ye are wicked'? —
18သင်သည်လူဆိုး ဖြစ်၏ဟု ရှင်ဘုရင် ကို ၎င်း၊ သင်တို့သည် အဓမ္မ လူဖြစ်ကြ၏ဟုမင်း တို့ကို ၎င်းဆို သင့် သလော ။
19That respecteth not the persons of princes, nor regardeth the rich more than the poor? For they all are the work of His hands.
19ထိုမျှမက၊ မင်း တို့၏မျက်နှာ ကို ထောက် တော်မ မူ။ ဆင်းရဲ သောသူကို အားနာသည်ထက်၊ ရ တတ် သောသူကိုသာ၍အားနာ တော်မ မူသောဘုရားသခင်ကို မဆိုသင့်သည်မဟုတ်လော။ ဘုရားသခင်သည် ခပ်သိမ်း သောသတ္တဝါတို့ကို ဖန်ဆင်း တော်မူပြီ။
20In a moment they die, even at midnight; the people are shaken and pass away, and the mighty are taken away without hand.
20တခဏ ခြင်းတွင် သတ္တဝါတို့သည် သေ တတ်ကြ၏။ သန်းခေါင် အချိန်၌ လူမျိုး တစုံတမျိုး တုန်လှုပ် ကွယ်ပျောက် ၍၊ အားကြီး သောသူသော်လည်းအဘယ်သူမျှမ ပြု ဘဲ သုတ်သင် ပယ်ရှင်းခြင်းသို့ ရောက်တတ်၏။
21For His eyes are upon the ways of a man, and He seeth all his goings.
21အကြောင်း မူကား၊ လူ သွားရာလမ်း တို့ကို ဘုရားသခင် ကြည့်ရှု ၍၊ လူခြေရာ ရှိသမျှ တို့ကို မြင် တော်မူ၏။
22There is no darkness, nor shadow of death, where the workers of iniquity may hide themselves.
22မ တရားသဖြင့် ကျင့် သောသူ၏ ပုန်းရှောင် ရာ မှောင်မိုက် ၊ သေမင်း အရိပ်တစုံတခုမျှမ ရှိ။
23For He doth not appoint a time unto any man, when he should go before God in judgment.
23ဘုရား သခင့်ရှေ့တော်၌ လူ သည် တရား တွေ့ သောအခါ ၊ အထပ်ထပ် စစ်ကြော တော်မူစရာ အကြောင်းမ ရှိ။
24He breaketh in pieces mighty men without inquisition, and setteth others in their stead.
24အားကြီး သောသူတို့ကိုပင် မ စစ်ကြော ဘဲ ချိုးဖျက် ၍ ၊ သူ တို့အရာ ၌ အခြား သောသူကို ခန့်ထား တော်မူ၏။
25Therefore He taketh knowledge of their works; and He overturneth them in the night, so that they are crushed.
25သို့ဖြစ်၍ သူ တို့ပြု သမျှကို သိ တော်မူသဖြင့် ၊ ညဉ့် မှောင်မိုက်ကို ရောက်စေ၍ ဖျက်ဆီး တော်မူ၏။
26He striketh them as wicked men in the open sight of others;
26သူ တို့အပြစ် ကြောင့် ပရိသတ်ရှေ့မှာ ဒဏ်ခတ် တော်မူ၏။
27Because they turned aside from following Him, and would not have regard to any of His ways;
27အကြောင်း မူကား၊ သူတို့သည် ဘုရားသခင်ကိုငြင်းပယ် ကြ၏။ ပြုတော်မူသောအမှု တို့ကို အလျှင်း မ ဆင်ခြင် ကြ။
28So that they cause the cry of the poor to come unto Him, and He heareth the cry of the afflicted.
28ထိုသို့ပြုသောကြောင့်ဆင်းရဲသား ငိုကြွေး သံသည် ရှေ့တော်သို့ တက်၍ ၊ ညှဉ်းဆဲ ခံရသောသူ၏ ငိုကြွေး သံကိုကြား တော်မူရ၏။
29When He giveth quietness, who then can condemn? And when He hideth His face, who then can behold Him? whether it be done unto a nation, or unto a man, alike;
29ဘုရားသခင်သည်ချမ်းသာ ပေးတော်မူလျှင် အဘယ်သူ နှောင့်ရှက် နိုင်သနည်း။ မျက်နှာ လွှဲတော်မူလျှင် လူ တမျိုးလုံးဖြစ်စေ၊ တယောက် တည်းဖြစ်စေ၊ အဘယ်သူ သည် မျက်နှာတော်ကို ဖူးမြင် နိုင်သနည်း။
30That the godless man reign not, that there be none to ensnare the people.
30ထိုသို့ဆင်းရဲသားတို့ကို မမှားယွင်းစေမည်အကြောင်းအဓမ္မ မင်းတို့ကို နှိမ့်ချတော်မူ၏။
31For hath any said unto God: 'I have borne chastisement, though I offend not;
31အကျွန်ုပ်သည် ဆုံးမ တော်မူခြင်းကိုခံရပါပြီ။ နောက်တဖန် မ ပြစ်မှား ပါ။
32That which I see not teach Thou me; if I have done iniquity, I will do it no more'?
32အကျွန်ုပ်နား မ လည်သောအရာကိုသွန်သင် တော်မူပါ။ ဒုစရိုက် ကို ပြု မိသည်ဖြစ်၍၊ နောက် တဖန် မ ပြုဘဲ နေပါမည်ဟု ဘုရား သခင်အား လျှောက်သင့် သည် မဟုတ်လော။
33Shall His recompense be as thou wilt? For thou loathest it, so that thou must choose, and not I; therefore speak what thou knowest.
33သင်သည် ငြင်းပယ် သည်ဖြစ်စေ၊ ရွေးယူ သည် ဖြစ်စေ၊ သင်၏အလိုသို့သာ ဘုရားသခင်လိုက်၍ ၊ အလိုတော် သို့မ လိုက်ဘဲ အကျိုးအပြစ်ကိုပေး တော်မူရမည် လော ။ သို့ဖြစ်လျှင် နားလည် သည်အတိုင်း ပြော ပါ။
34Men of understanding will say unto me, yea, every wise man that heareth me:
34ဉာဏ် ကောင်းသောသူ တို့ သည် စကားပြော ပါစေ။ ပညာ ရှိသောသူတို့ သည် ငါ့ စကားကို နားထောင် ပါစေ။
35'Job speaketh without knowledge, and his words are without discernment.'
35ယောဘ သည် နား မ လည်ဘဲပြော မိပြီ။ သူ ပြော သောစကား သည် ပညာ စကားမ ဟုတ်။
36Would that Job were tried unto the end, because of his answering like wicked men.
36ယောဘ သည် မတရား သော သူ ကဲ့သို့ပြန်ပြော တတ်သောကြောင့် ၊ အဆုံး တိုင်အောင် စုံစမ်း စေခြင်းငှါ ငါအလိုရှိ ၏။
37For he addeth rebellion unto his sin, he clappeth his hands among us, and multiplieth his words against God.
37ဒုစရိုက် ကိုပြုသည်သာမက၊ ပုန်ကန်သော အပြစ် ရှိသေး၏။ ငါ တို့တွင် အောင်ပွဲ ကိုခံ၍ ၊ ဘုရား သခင်ကို ပြစ်မှားသောစကား နှင့် များစွာ ပြော တတ်သည်ဟု မြွက်ဆို၏။
