1When Israel was a child, then I loved him, and out of Egypt I called My son.
1以色列 年幼的时候，我爱他， 就从 埃及 召出我的儿子来。
2The more they called them, the more they went from them; they sacrificed unto the Baalim, and offered to graven images.
2先知越发招呼他们， 他们越发走开， 向诸 巴力 献祭， 给雕刻的偶像烧香。
3And I, I taught Ephraim to walk, taking them by their arms; but they knew not that I healed them.
3我原教导 以法莲 行走， 用膀臂抱着他们， 他们却不知道是我医治他们。
4I drew them with cords of a man, with bands of love; and I was to them as they that take off the yoke on their jaws, and I fed them gently.
4我用慈绳爱索牵引他们； 我待他们如人放松 牛的 两腮夹板， 把粮食放在他们面前。
5He shall not return into the land of Egypt, but the Assyrian shall be his king, because they refused to return.
5他们必不归回 埃及 地， 亚述 人却要作他们的王， 因他们不肯归向 我 。
6And the sword shall fall upon his cities, and shall consume his bars, and devour them, because of their own counsels.
6刀剑必临到他们的城邑， 毁坏门闩，把人吞灭， 都因他们 随从 自己的计谋。
7And My people are in suspense about returning to Me; and though they call them upwards, none at all will lift himself up.
7我的民偏要背道离开我； 众先知虽然招呼他们归向至上的 主 ， 却无人尊崇 主 。
8How shall I give thee up, Ephraim? How shall I surrender thee, Israel? How shall I make thee as Admah? How shall I set thee as Zeboim? My heart is turned within Me, My compassions are kindled together.
8以法莲 哪，我怎能舍弃你？ 以色列 啊，我怎能弃绝你？ 我怎能使你如 押玛 ？ 怎能使你如 洗扁 ？ 我回心转意， 我的怜爱大大发动。
9I will not execute the fierceness of Mine anger, I will not return to destroy Ephraim; for I am God, and not man, the Holy One in the midst of thee; and I will not come in fury.
9我必不发猛烈的怒气， 也不再毁灭 以法莲 。 因我是 神，并非世人， 是你们中间的圣者； 我必不在怒中临到你们。
10They shall walk after the LORD, who shall roar like a lion; for He shall roar, and the children shall come trembling from the west.
10耶和华必如狮子吼叫， 子民必跟随他。 他一吼叫， 他们就从西方急速而来。
11They shall come trembling as a bird out of Egypt, and as a dove out of the land of Assyria; and I will make them to dwell in their houses, saith the LORD.
11他们必如雀鸟从 埃及 急速而来， 又如鸽子从 亚述 地来到。 我必使他们住自己的房屋。 这是耶和华说的。
12(12-1) Ephraim compasseth Me about with lies, and the house of Israel with deceit; and Judah is yet wayward towards God, and towards the Holy One who is faithful.
12以法莲 用谎话， 以色列 家用诡计围绕我； 犹大 却靠 神掌权， 向圣者有忠心。
