1And it came to pass in the seventh year, in the fifth month, the tenth day of the month, that certain of the elders of Israel came to inquire of the LORD, and sat before me.
1第七年五 月 初十 日 ，有 以色列 的幾個長老來求問耶和華，坐在我面前。
2And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying:
2耶和華的話臨到我說：
3'Son of man, speak unto the elders of Israel, and say unto them: Thus saith the Lord GOD: Are ye come to inquire of Me? As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I will not be inquired of by you.
3「人子啊，你要告訴 以色列 的長老說，主耶和華如此說：你們來是求問我嗎？主耶和華說：我指着我的永生起誓，我必不被你們求問。
4Wilt thou judge them, son of man, wilt thou judge them? cause them to know the abominations of their fathers;
4人子啊，你要審問審問他們嗎？你當使他們知道他們列祖那些可憎的事，
5and say unto them: Thus saith the Lord GOD: In the day when I chose Israel, and lifted up My hand unto the seed of the house of Jacob, and made Myself known unto them in the land of Egypt, when I lifted up My hand unto them, saying: I am the LORD your God;
5對他們說，主耶和華如此說：當日我揀選 以色列 ，向 雅各 家的後裔起誓，在 埃及 地將自己向他們顯現，說：我是耶和華－你們的上帝。
6in that day I lifted up My hand unto them, to bring them forth out of the land of Egypt into a land that I had sought out for them, flowing with milk and honey, which is the beauty of all lands;
6那日我向他們起誓，必領他們出 埃及 地，到我為他們察看的流奶與蜜之地；那地在萬國中是有榮耀的。
7and I said unto them: Cast ye away every man the detestable things of his eyes, and defile not yourselves with the idols of Egypt; I am the LORD your God.
7我對他們說，你們各人要拋棄眼所喜愛那可憎之物，不可因 埃及 的偶像玷污自己。我是耶和華－你們的上帝。
8But they rebelled against Me, and would not hearken unto Me; they did not every man cast away the detestable things of their eyes, neither did they forsake the idols of Egypt; then I said I would pour out My fury upon them, to spend My anger upon them in the midst of the land of Egypt.
8他們卻悖逆我，不肯聽從我，不拋棄他們眼所喜愛那可憎之物，不離棄 埃及 的偶像。 「我就說，我要將我的忿怒傾在他們身上，在 埃及 地向他們成就我怒中所定的。
9But I wrought for My name's sake, that it should not be profaned in the sight of the nations, among whom they were, in whose sight I made Myself known unto them, so as to bring them forth out of the land of Egypt.
9我卻為我名的緣故沒有這樣行，免得我名在他們所住的列國人眼前被褻瀆；我領他們出 埃及 地，在這列國人的眼前將自己向他們顯現。
10So I caused them to go forth out of the land of Egypt, and brought them into the wilderness.
10這樣，我就使他們出 埃及 地，領他們到曠野，
11And I gave them My statutes, and taught them Mine ordinances, which if a man do, he shall live by them.
11將我的律例賜給他們，將我的典章指示他們；人若遵行就必因此活着。
12Moreover also I gave them My sabbaths, to be a sign between Me and them, that they might know that I am the LORD that sanctify them.
12又將我的安息日賜給他們，好在我與他們中間為證據，使他們知道我－耶和華是叫他們成為聖的。
13But the house of Israel rebelled against Me in the wilderness; they walked not in My statutes, and they rejected Mine ordinances, which if a man do, he shall live by them, and My sabbaths they greatly profaned; then I said I would pour out My fury upon them in the wilderness, to consume them.
13以色列 家卻在曠野悖逆我，不順從我的律例，厭棄我的典章（人若遵行就必因此活着），大大干犯我的安息日。 「我就說，要在曠野將我的忿怒傾在他們身上，滅絕他們。
14But I wrought for My name's sake, that it should not be profaned in the sight of the nations, in whose sight I brought them out.
14我卻為我名的緣故，沒有這樣行，免得我的名在我領他們出 埃及 的列國人眼前被褻瀆。
15Yet also I lifted up My hand unto them in the wilderness, that I would not bring them into the land which I had given them, flowing with milk and honey, which is the beauty of all lands;
15並且我在曠野向他們起誓，必不領他們進入我所賜給他們流奶與蜜之地（那地在萬國中是有榮耀的）；
16because they rejected Mine ordinances, and walked not in My statutes, and profaned My sabbaths — for their heart went after their idols.
16因為他們厭棄我的典章，不順從我的律例，干犯我的安息日，他們的心隨從自己的偶像。
17Nevertheless Mine eye spared them from destroying them, neither did I make a full end of them in the wilderness.
17雖然如此，我眼仍顧惜他們，不毀滅他們，不在曠野將他們滅絕淨盡。
18And I said unto their children in the wilderness: Walk ye not in the statutes of your fathers, neither observe their ordinances, nor defile yourselves with their idols;
18「我在曠野對他們的兒女說：不要遵行你們父親的律例，不要謹守他們的惡規，也不要因他們的偶像玷污自己。
19I am the LORD your God; walk in My statutes, and keep Mine ordinances, and do them;
19我是耶和華－你們的上帝，你們要順從我的律例，謹守遵行我的典章，
20and hallow My sabbaths, and they shall be a sign between Me and you, that ye may know that I am the LORD your God.
20且以我的安息日為聖。這日在我與你們中間為證據，使你們知道我是耶和華－你們的上帝。
21But the children rebelled against Me; they walked not in My statutes, neither kept Mine ordinances to do them, which if a man do, he shall live by them; they profaned My sabbaths; then I said I would pour out My fury upon them, to spend My anger upon them in the wilderness.
21只是 他們的 兒女悖逆我，不順從我的律例，也不謹守遵行我的典章（人若遵行就必因此活着），干犯我的安息日。 「我就說，要將我的忿怒傾在他們身上，在曠野向他們成就我怒中所定的。
22Nevertheless I withdrew My hand, and wrought for My name's sake, that it should not be profaned in the sight of the nations, in whose sight I brought them forth.
22雖然如此，我卻為我名的緣故縮手沒有這樣行，免得我的名在我領他們出 埃及 的列國人眼前被褻瀆。
23I lifted up My hand unto them also in the wilderness, that I would scatter them among the nations, and disperse them through the countries;
23並且我在曠野向他們起誓，必將他們分散在列國，四散在列邦；
24because they had not executed Mine ordinances, but had rejected My statutes, and had profaned My sabbaths, and their eyes were after their fathers' idols.
24因為他們不遵行我的典章，竟厭棄我的律例，干犯我的安息日，眼目仰望他們父親的偶像。
25Wherefore I gave them also statutes that were not good, and ordinances whereby they should not live;
25我也任他們遵行不美的律例，謹守不能使人活着的惡規。
26and I polluted them in their own gifts, in that they set apart all that openeth the womb, that I might destroy them, to the end that they might know that I am the LORD.
26因他們將一切頭生的經 火 ，我就任憑他們在這供獻的事上玷污自己，好叫他們淒涼，使他們知道我是耶和華。
27Therefore, son of man, speak unto the house of Israel, and say unto them: Thus saith the Lord GOD: In this moreover have your fathers blasphemed Me, in that they dealt treacherously with Me.
27「人子啊，你要告訴 以色列 家說，主耶和華如此說：你們的列祖在得罪我的事上褻瀆我；
28For when I had brought them into the land, which I lifted up My hand to give unto them, then they saw every high hill, and every thick tree, and they offered there their sacrifices, and there they presented the provocation of their offering, there also they made their sweet savour, and there they poured out their drink-offerings.
28因為我領他們到了我起誓應許賜給他們的地，他們看見各高山、各茂密樹，就在那裏獻祭，奉上惹我發怒的供物，也在那裏焚燒馨香的祭牲，並澆上奠祭。
29Then I said unto them: What meaneth the high place whereunto ye go? So the name thereof is called Bamah unto this day.
29我就對他們說：你們所上的那高處叫甚麼呢？（那高處的名字叫 巴麻 直到今日。）
30Wherefore say unto the house of Israel: Thus saith the Lord GOD: When ye pollute yourselves after the manner of your fathers, and go after their abominations,
30所以你要對 以色列 家說，主耶和華如此說：你們仍照你們列祖所行的玷污自己嗎？仍照他們可憎的事行邪淫嗎？
31and when, in offering your gifts, in making your sons to pass through the fire, ye pollute yourselves with all your idols, unto this day; shall I then be inquired of by you, O house of Israel? As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I will not be inquired of by you;
31你們奉上供物使你們兒子經火的時候，仍將一切偶像玷污自己，直到今日嗎？ 以色列 家啊，我豈被你們求問嗎？主耶和華說：我指着我的永生起誓，我必不被你們求問。
32and that which cometh into your mind shall not be at all; in that ye say: We will be as the nations, as the families of the countries, to serve wood and stone.
32「你們說：我們要像外邦人和列國的宗族一樣，去事奉木頭與石頭。你們所起的這心意萬不能成就。」
33As I live, saith the Lord GOD, surely with a mighty hand, and with an outstretched arm, and with fury poured out, will I be king over you;
33主耶和華說：「我指着我的永生起誓，我總要作王，用大能的手和伸出來的膀臂，並傾出來的忿怒，治理你們。
34and I will bring you out from the peoples, and will gather you out of the countries wherein ye are scattered, with a mighty hand, and with an outstretched arm, and with fury poured out;
34我必用大能的手和伸出來的膀臂，並傾出來的忿怒，將你們從萬民中領出來，從分散的列國內聚集你們。
35and I will bring you into the wilderness of the peoples, and there will I plead with you face to face.
35我必帶你們到外邦人的曠野，在那裏當面刑罰你們。
36Like as I pleaded with your fathers in the wilderness of the land of Egypt, so will I plead with you, saith the Lord GOD.
36我怎樣在 埃及 地的曠野刑罰你們的列祖，也必照樣刑罰你們。這是主耶和華說的。
37And I will cause you to pass under the rod, and I will bring you into the bond of the covenant;
37我必使你們從杖下經過，使你們被約拘束。
38and I will purge out from among you the rebels, and them that transgress against Me; I will bring them forth out of the land where they sojourn, but they shall not enter into the land of Israel; and ye shall know that I am the LORD.
38我必從你們中間除淨叛逆和得罪我的人，將他們從所寄居的地方領出來，他們卻不得入 以色列 地。你們就知道我是耶和華。
39As for you, O house of Israel, thus saith the Lord GOD: Go ye, serve every one his idols, even because ye will not hearken unto Me; but My holy name shall ye no more profane with your gifts, and with your idols.
39「 以色列 家啊，至於你們，主耶和華如此說：從此以後若不聽從我，就任憑你們去事奉偶像，只是不可再因你們的供物和偶像褻瀆我的聖名。
40For in My holy mountain, in the mountain of the height of Israel, saith the Lord GOD, there shall all the house of Israel, all of them, serve Me in the land; there will I accept them, and there will I require your heave-offerings, and the first of your gifts, with all your holy things.
40「主耶和華說：在我的聖山，就是 以色列 高處的山，所有 以色列 的全家都要事奉我。我要在那裏悅納你們，向你們要供物和初熟的土產，並一切的聖物。
41With your sweet savour will I accept you, when I bring you out from the peoples, and gather you out of the countries wherein ye have been scattered; and I will be sanctified in you in the sight of the nations.
41我從萬民中領你們出來，從分散的列國內聚集你們，那時我必悅納你們好像馨香之祭，要在外邦人眼前在你們身上顯為聖。
42And ye shall know that I am the LORD, when I shall bring you into the land of Israel, into the country which I lifted up My hand to give unto your fathers.
42我領你們進入 以色列 地，就是我起誓應許賜給你們列祖之地，那時你們就知道我是耶和華。
43And there shall ye remember your ways, and all your doings, wherein ye have polluted yourselves; and ye shall loathe yourselves in your own sight for all your evils that ye have committed.
43你們在那裏要追念玷污自己的行動作為，又要因所做的一切惡事厭惡自己。
44And ye shall know that I am the LORD, when I have wrought with you for My name's sake, not according to your evil ways, nor according to your corrupt doings, O ye house of Israel, saith the Lord GOD.'
44主耶和華說： 以色列 家啊，我為我名的緣故，不照着你們的惡行和你們的壞事待你們；你們就知道我是耶和華。」
45(21-1) And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying:
45耶和華的話臨到我說：
46(21-2) 'Son of man, set thy face toward the South, and preach toward the South, and prophesy against the forest of the field in the South;
46「人子啊，你要面向南方，向南滴下預言攻擊南方田野的樹林。
47(21-3) and say to the forest of the South: Hear the word of the LORD: Thus saith the Lord GOD: Behold, I will kindle a fire in thee, and it shall devour every green tree in thee, and every dry tree, it shall not be quenched, even a flaming flame; and all faces from the south to the north shall be seared thereby.
47對南方的樹林說，要聽耶和華的話。主耶和華如此說：我必使火在你中間着起，燒滅你中間的一切青樹和枯樹，猛烈的火焰必不熄滅。從南到北，人的臉面都被燒焦。
48(21-4) And all flesh shall see that I the LORD have kindled it; it shall not be quenched.'
48凡有血氣的都必知道是我－耶和華使火着起，這火必不熄滅。」
49(21-5) Then said I: 'Ah Lord GOD! they say of me: Is he not a maker of parables?'
49於是我說：「哎！主耶和華啊，人都指着我說：他豈不是說比喻的嗎？」
