1And Moses went up from the plains of Moab unto mount Nebo, to the top of Pisgah, that is over against Jericho. And the LORD showed him all the land, even Gilead as far as Dan;
1摩西 從 摩押 平原登 尼波山 ，上了那與 耶利哥 相對的 毗斯迦山 頂。耶和華把 基列 全地直到 但 ，
2and all Naphtali, and the land of Ephraim and Manasseh, and all the land of Judah as far as the hinder sea;
2拿弗他利 全地， 以法蓮 、 瑪拿西 的地， 猶大 全地直到 西海 ，
3and the South, and the Plain, even the valley of Jericho the city of palm-trees, as far as Zoar.
3南地和棕樹城 耶利哥 的平原，直到 瑣珥 ，都指給他看。
4And the LORD said unto him: 'This is the land which I swore unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, saying: I will give it unto thy seed; I have caused thee to see it with thine eyes, but thou shalt not go over thither.'
4耶和華對他說：「這就是我向 亞伯拉罕 、 以撒 、 雅各 起誓應許之地，說：『我必將這地賜給你的後裔。』現在我使你眼睛看見了，你卻不得過到那裏去。」
5So Moses the servant of the LORD died there in the land of Moab, according to the word of the LORD.
5於是，耶和華的僕人 摩西 死在 摩押 地，正如耶和華所說的。
6And he was buried in the valley in the land of Moab over against Beth-peor; and no man knoweth of his sepulchre unto this day.
6耶和華將他埋葬在 摩押 地、 伯‧毗珥 對面的谷中，只是到今日沒有人知道他的墳墓。
7And Moses was a hundred and twenty years old when he died: his eye was not dim, nor his natural force abated.
7摩西 死的時候年一百二十歲；眼目沒有昏花，精神沒有衰敗。
8And the children of Israel wept for Moses in the plains of Moab thirty days; so the days of weeping in the mourning for Moses were ended.
8以色列 人在 摩押 平原為 摩西 哀哭了三十日，為 摩西 居喪哀哭的日子就滿了。
9And Joshua the son of Nun was full of the spirit of wisdom; for Moses had laid his hands upon him; and the children of Israel hearkened unto him, and did as the LORD commanded Moses.
9嫩 的兒子 約書亞 ；因為 摩西 曾按手在他 頭 上，就被智慧的靈充滿， 以色列 人便聽從他，照着耶和華吩咐 摩西 的行了。
10And there hath not arisen a prophet since in Israel like unto Moses, whom the LORD knew face to face;
10以後 以色列 中再沒有興起先知像 摩西 的。他是耶和華面對面所認識的。
11in all the signs and the wonders, which the LORD sent him to do in the land of Egypt, to Pharaoh, and to all his servants, and to all his land;
11耶和華打發他在 埃及 地向法老和他的一切臣僕，並他的全地，行各樣神蹟奇事，
12and in all the mighty hand, and in all the great terror, which Moses wrought in the sight of all Israel.
12又在 以色列 眾人眼前顯大能的手，行一切大而可畏的事。
