Deuteronomy 11

1Therefore thou shalt love the LORD thy God, and keep His charge, and His statutes, and His ordinances, and His commandments, alway.
1「你要愛耶和華－你的上帝，常守他的吩咐、律例、典章、誡命。
2And know ye this day; for I speak not with your children that have not known, and that have not seen the chastisement of the LORD your God, His greatness, His mighty hand, and His outstretched arm,
2你們今日當知道，我本不是和你們的兒女 說話 ；因為他們不知道，也沒有看見耶和華－你們上帝的管教、威嚴、大能的手，和伸出來的膀臂，
3and His signs, and His works, which He did in the midst of Egypt unto Pharaoh the king of Egypt, and unto all his land;
3並他在 埃及 中向 埃及 王法老和其全地所行的神蹟奇事；
4and what He did unto the army of Egypt, unto their horses, and to their chariots; how He made the water of the Red Sea to overflow them as they pursued after you, and how the LORD hath destroyed them unto this day;
4也沒有看見他怎樣待 埃及 的軍兵、車馬，他們追趕你們的時候，耶和華怎樣使 紅海 的水淹沒他們，將他們滅絕，直到今日，
5and what He did unto you in the wilderness, until ye came unto this place;
5並他在曠野怎樣待你們，以致你們來到這地方；
6and what He did unto Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab, the son of Reuben; how the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up, and their households, and their tents, and every living substance that followed them, in the midst of all Israel;
6也沒有看見他怎樣待 呂便 子孫 以利押 的兒子 大坍 、 亞比蘭 ，地怎樣在 以色列 人中間開口，吞了他們和他們的家眷，並帳棚與跟他們的一切活物。
7but your eyes have seen all the great work of the LORD which He did.
7惟有你們親眼看見耶和華所做的一切大事。」
8Therefore shall ye keep all the commandment which I command thee this day, that ye may be strong, and go in and possess the land, whither ye go over to possess it;
8「所以，你們要守我今日所吩咐的一切誡命，使你們膽壯，能以進去，得你們所要得的那地，
9and that ye may prolong your days upon the land, which the LORD swore unto your fathers to give unto them and to their seed, a land flowing with milk and honey.
9並使你們的日子在耶和華向你們列祖起誓、應許給他們和他們後裔的地上得以長久；那是流奶與蜜之地。
10For the land, whither thou goest in to possess it, is not as the land of Egypt, from whence ye came out, where thou didst sow thy seed, and didst water it with thy foot, as a garden of herbs;
10你要進去得為業的那地，本不像你出來的 埃及 地。你在那裏撒種，用腳澆灌，像澆灌菜園一樣。
11but the land, whither ye go over to possess it, is a land of hills and valleys, and drinketh water as the rain of heaven cometh down;
11你們要過去得為業的那地乃是有山有谷、雨水滋潤之地，
12a land which the LORD thy God careth for; the eyes of the LORD thy God are always upon it, from the beginning of the year even unto the end of the year.
12是耶和華－你上帝所眷顧的；從歲首到年終，耶和華－你上帝的眼目時常看顧那地。
13And it shall come to pass, if ye shall hearken diligently unto My commandments which I command you this day, to love the LORD your God, and to serve Him with all your heart and with all your soul,
13「你們若留意聽從我今日所吩咐的誡命，愛耶和華－你們的上帝，盡心盡性事奉他，
14that I will give the rain of your land in its season, the former rain and the latter rain, that thou mayest gather in thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil.
14他必按時降秋雨春雨在你們的地上，使你們可以收藏五穀、新酒，和油，
15And I will give grass in thy fields for thy cattle, and thou shalt eat and be satisfied.
15也必使你吃得飽足，並使田野為你的牲畜長草。
16Take heed to yourselves, lest your heart be deceived, and ye turn aside, and serve other gods, and worship them;
16你們要謹慎，免得心中受迷惑，就偏離 正路 ，去事奉敬拜別神。
17and the anger of the LORD be kindled against you, and He shut up the heaven, so that there shall be no rain, and the ground shall not yield her fruit; and ye perish quickly from off the good land which the LORD giveth you.
17耶和華的怒氣向你們發作，就使天閉塞不下雨，地也不出產，使你們在耶和華所賜給你們的美地上速速滅亡。
18Therefore shall ye lay up these My words in your heart and in your soul; and ye shall bind them for a sign upon your hand, and they shall be for frontlets between your eyes.
18「你們要將我這話存在心內，留在意中，繫在手上為記號，戴在額上為經文；
19And ye shall teach them your children, talking of them, when thou sittest in thy house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.
19也要教訓你們的兒女，無論坐在家裏，行在路上，躺下，起來，都要談論；
20And thou shalt write them upon the door-posts of thy house, and upon thy gates;
20又要寫在房屋的門框上，並城門上，
21that your days may be multiplied, and the days of your children, upon the land which the LORD swore unto your fathers to give them, as the days of the heavens above the earth.
21使你們和你們子孫的日子在耶和華向你們列祖起誓、應許給他們的地上得以增多，如天覆地的日子那樣多。
22For if ye shall diligently keep all this commandment which I command you, to do it, to love the LORD your God, to walk in all His ways, and to cleave unto Him,
22你們若留意謹守遵行我所吩咐這一切的誡命，愛耶和華－你們的上帝，行他的道，專靠他，
23then will the LORD drive out all these nations from before you, and ye shall dispossess nations greater and mightier than yourselves.
23他必從你們面前趕出這一切國民，就是比你們更大更強的國民，你們也要得他們的地。
24Every place whereon the sole of your foot shall tread shall be yours: from the wilderness, and Lebanon, from the river, the river Euphrates, even unto the hinder sea shall be your border.
24凡你們腳掌所踏之地都必歸你們；從曠野和 黎巴嫩 ，並 幼發拉底 大河，直到 西海 ，都要作你們的境界。
25There shall no man be able to stand against you: the LORD your God shall lay the fear of you and the dread of you upon all the land that ye shall tread upon, as He hath spoken unto you.
25必無一人能在你們面前站立得住；耶和華－你們的上帝必照他所說的，使懼怕驚恐臨到你們所踏之地的居民。
26Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse:
26「看哪，我今日將祝福與咒詛的話都陳明在你們面前。
27the blessing, if ye shall hearken unto the commandments of the LORD your God, which I command you this day;
27你們若聽從耶和華－你們上帝的誡命，就是我今日所吩咐你們的，就必蒙福。
28and the curse, if ye shall not hearken unto the commandments of the LORD your God, but turn aside out of the way which I command you this day, to go after other gods, which ye have not known.
28你們若不聽從耶和華－你們上帝的誡命，偏離我今日所吩咐你們的道，去事奉你們素來所不認識的別神，就必受禍。
29And it shall come to pass, when the LORD thy God shall bring thee into the land whither thou goest to possess it, that thou shalt set the blessing upon mount Gerizim, and the curse upon mount Ebal.
29及至耶和華－你的上帝領你進入要去得為業的那地，你就要將祝福的話陳明在 基利心山 上，將咒詛的話陳明在 以巴路山 上。
30Are they not beyond the Jordan, behind the way of the going down of the sun, in the land of the Canaanites that dwell in the Arabah, over against Gilgal, beside the terebinths of Moreh?
30這二山豈不是在 約旦河 那邊，日落之處，在住 亞拉巴 的 迦南 人之地與 吉甲 相對，靠近 摩利 橡樹嗎？
31For ye are to pass over the Jordan to go in to possess the land which the LORD your God giveth you, and ye shall possess it, and dwell therein.
31你們要過 約旦河 ，進去得耶和華－你們上帝所賜你們為業之地，在那地居住。
32And ye shall observe to do all the statutes and the ordinances which I set before you this day.
32你們要謹守遵行我今日在你們面前所陳明的一切律例典章。」
