1主は私に言われた。「もう一度行って、ほかの男に愛されながら姦淫を行う女を愛せよ。ちょうど主がイスラエルの子らを愛しておられるように。彼らはほかの神々に心を向け、干しぶどうの菓子を愛している。」
1Then the LORD said to me, “Go show love to your wife again, though she is loved by another and is an adulteress. Love her as the LORD loves the Israelites, though they turn to other gods and offer raisin cakes to idols.”
2そこで私は、銀十五枚と、大麦一ホメル半で彼女を自分のために買い取った。
2So I bought her for fifteen shekels of silver and a homer and a lethech of barley.
3私は彼女に言った。「あなたは長い間、私のもとにとどまりなさい。淫行をしてはならず、ほかの男と共にいてはならない。私もあなたに対して同じようにする。」
3Then I said to her, “You must live with me for many days; you must not be promiscuous or belong to another, and I will do the same for you.”
4イスラエルの子らは長い間、王も君主もなく、いけにえも石柱もなく、エポデも偶像もなく過ごす。
4For the Israelites must live many days without king or prince, without sacrifice or sacred pillar, and without ephod or idol.
5その後、イスラエルの子らは立ち返り、自分たちの神、主と、自分たちの王ダビデを求める。終わりの日々に、彼らはおののきながら主のもとへ、その恵みを求めて来る。
5Afterward, the people of Israel will return and seek the LORD their God and David their king. They will come trembling to the LORD and to His goodness in the last days.
