1Καὶ εἶπε, Κύριος πρὸς μὲ, ἔτι πορεύθητι, καὶ ἀγάπησον γυναῖκα ἀγαπῶσαν πονηρὰ, καὶ μοιχαλὶν, καθὼς ἀγαπᾷ ὁ Θεὸς τοὺς υἱοὺς Ἰσραὴλ, καὶ αὐτοὶ ἐπιβλέπουσιν ἐπὶ θεοὺς αλλοτρίους, καὶ φιλοῦσι πέμματα μετὰ σταφίδος.
1Then the LORD said to me, “Go show love to your wife again, though she is loved by another and is an adulteress. Love her as the LORD loves the Israelites, though they turn to other gods and offer raisin cakes to idols.”
2Καὶ ἐμισθωσάμην ἐμαυτῷ πεντεκαίδεκα ἀργυρίου, καὶ γομὸρ κριθῶν, καὶ νέβελ οἴνου.
2So I bought her for fifteen shekels of silver and a homer and a lethech of barley.
3Καὶ εἶπα πρὸς αὐτὴν, ἡμέρας πολλὰς καθήσῃ ἐπʼ ἐμοὶ, καὶ οὐ μὴ πορνεύσῃς, οὐδὲ μὴ γένῃ ἀνδρὶ, καὶ ἐγὼ ἐπὶ σοί.
3Then I said to her, “You must live with me for many days; you must not be promiscuous or belong to another, and I will do the same for you.”
4Διότι ἡμέρας πολλὰς καθήσονται οἱ υἱοὶ Ἰσραὴλ, οὐκ ὄντος βασιλέως, οὐδὲ ὄντος ἄρχοντος, οὐδὲ οὔσης θυσίας, οὐδὲ ὄντος θυσιαστηρ ίου, οὐδὲ ἱερατείας, οὐδὲ δήλων.
4For the Israelites must live many days without king or prince, without sacrifice or sacred pillar, and without ephod or idol.
5Καὶ μετὰ ταῦτα ἐπιστρέψουσιν οἱ υἱοὶ Ἰσραὴλ, καὶ ἐπιζητήσουσι Κύριον τὸν Θεὸν αὐτῶν, καὶ Δαυὶδ τὸν βασιλέα αὐτῶν, καὶ ἐκστήσονται ἐπὶ τῷ Κυρίῳ, καὶ ἐπὶ τοῖς ἀγαθοῖς αὐτοῦ ἐπʼ ἐσχάτων τῶν ἡμερῶν.
5Afterward, the people of Israel will return and seek the LORD their God and David their king. They will come trembling to the LORD and to His goodness in the last days.
