1Εἰς τὸ τέλος· ψαλμὸς ᾠδῆς τοῦ ἐγκαινισμοῦ τοῦ οἴκου· Δαυΐδ.
1Ascribe to the LORD, you sons of the mighty, ascribe to the LORD glory and strength.
2ΥΨΩΣΩ σε, Κύριε, ὅτι ὑπέλαβές με καὶ οὐκ εὔφρανας τοὺς ἐχθρούς μου ἐπ᾿ ἐμέ.
2Ascribe to the LORD the glory due to his name. Worship the LORD in holy array.
3Κύριε ὁ Θεός μου, ἐκέκραξα πρὸς σέ, καὶ ἰάσω με·
3The LORD’s voice is on the waters. The God of glory thunders, even the LORD on many waters.
4Κύριε, ἀνήγαγες ἐξ ᾅδου τὴν ψυχήν μου, ἔσωσάς με ἀπὸ τῶν καταβαινόντων εἰς λάκκον.
4The LORD’s voice is powerful. The LORD’s voice is full of majesty.
5ψάλατε τῷ Κυρίῳ, οἱ ὅσιοι αὐτοῦ, καὶ ἐξομολογεῖσθε τῇ μνήμῃ τῆς ἁγιωσύνης αὐτοῦ·
5The LORD’s voice breaks the cedars. Yes, the LORD breaks in pieces the cedars of Lebanon.
6ὅτι ὀργὴ ἐν τῷ θυμῷ αὐτοῦ, καὶ ζωὴ ἐν τῷ θελήματι αὐτοῦ· τὸ ἑσπέρας αὐλισθήσεται κλαυθμὸς καὶ εἰς τὸ πρωΐ ἀγαλλίασις.
6He makes them also to skip like a calf; Lebanon and Sirion like a young, wild ox.
7ἐγὼ δὲ εἶπα ἐν τῇ εὐθηνίᾳ μου· οὐ μὴ σαλευθῶ εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα.
7The LORD’s voice strikes with flashes of lightning.
8Κύριε, ἐν τῷ θελήματί σου παρέσχου τῷ κάλλει μου δύναμιν· ἀπέστρεψας δὲ τὸ πρόσωπόν σου καὶ ἐγενήθην τεταραγμένος.
8The LORD’s voice shakes the wilderness. The LORD shakes the wilderness of Kadesh.
9πρὸς σέ, Κύριε, κεκράξομαι, καὶ πρὸς τὸν Θεόν μου δεηθήσομαι.
9The LORD’s voice makes the deer calve, and strips the forests bare. In his temple everything says, “Glory!”
10τίς ὠφέλεια ἐν τῷ αἵματί μου ἐν τῷ καταβαίνειν με εἰς διαφθοράν; μὴ ἐξομολογήσεταί σοι χοῦς ἢ ἀναγγελεῖ τὴν ἀλήθειάν σου;
10The LORD sat enthroned at the Flood. Yes, the LORD sits as King forever.
11ἤκουσε Κύριος, καὶ ἠλέησέ με, Κύριος ἐγενήθη βοηθός μου.
11The LORD will give strength to his people. The LORD will bless his people with peace.
12ἔστρεψας τὸν κοπετόν μου εἰς χαρὰν ἐμοί, διέρρηξας τὸν σάκκον μου καὶ περιέζωσάς με εὐφροσύνην,

13ὅπως ἂν ψάλῃ σοι ἡ δόξα μου καὶ οὐ μὴ κατανυγῶ. Κύριε ὁ Θεός μου, εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα ἐξομολογήσομαί σοι.
