1Nun rilate al la monkolekto pro la sanktuloj, kiel mi ordonis al la eklezioj de Galatujo, tiel ankaŭ vi faru.
1Now concerning the collections that are made for the saints, as I have given order to the churches of Galatia, so do ye also.
2La unuan tagon de la semajno, ĉiu el vi provizu ĉe si laŭ tio, kion li prospere akiris, por ke ne estu kolektoj tiam, kiam mi venos.
2On the first day of the week let every one of you put apart with himself, laying up what it shall well please him; that when I come, the collections be not then to be made.
3Kaj kiam mi alvenos, kiujn vi per leteroj aprobos, tiujn mi sendos, por alporti vian donacon al Jerusalem;
3And when I shall be with you, whomsoever you shall approve by letters, them will I send to carry your grace to Jerusalem.
4kaj se konvenos, ke mi ankaŭ tien vojaĝu, ili vojaĝos kun mi.
4And if it be meet that I also go, they shall go with me.
5Sed mi venos al vi, kiam mi estos trapasinta Makedonujon; ĉar Makedonujon mi ja trapasos;
5Now I will come to you, when I shall have passed through Macedonia. For I shall pass through Macedonia.
6sed ĉe vi eble mi restos, aŭ eĉ travintros, por ke vi antaŭen irigu min, kien mi veturos.
6And with you perhaps I shall abide, or even spend the winter: that you may bring me on my way whithersoever I shall go.
7Ĉar mi ne volas vidi vin nun dumvojaĝe; ĉar mi esperas resti kelkan tempon ĉe vi, se la Sinjoro permesos.
7For I will not see you now by the way, for I trust that I shall abide with you some time, if the Lord permit.
8Sed mi restos en Efeso ĝis Pentekosto;
8But I will tarry at Ephesus until Pentecost.
9ĉar pordo granda kaj efika malfermiĝis al mi, kaj estas multaj kontraŭstarantoj.
9For a great door and evident is opened unto me: and many adversaries.
10Se Timoteo venos, zorgu, ke li estu ĉe vi sentime; ĉar li faras la laboron de la Sinjoro, kiel mi ankaŭ;
10Now if Timothy come, see that he be with you without fear, for he worketh the work of the Lord, as I also do.
11neniu do lin malestimu. Sed antaŭen irigu lin en paco, por ke li venu al mi; ĉar mi atendas lin kun la fratoj.
11Let no man therefore despise him, but conduct ye him on his way in peace: that he may come to me. For I look for him with the brethren.
12Sed rilate al la frato Apolos, mi multe petegis lin veni al vi kun la fratoj; sed tute mankis volo veni nun; sed li venos, kiam li havos oportunan tempon.
12And touching our brother Apollo, I give you to understand, that I much entreated him to come unto you with the brethren: and indeed it was not his will at all to come at this time. But he will come when he shall have leisure.
13Viglu, staru firme en la fido, viriĝu, fortiĝu.
13Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, do manfully, and be strengthened.
14Ĉio via estu farata en amo.
14Let all your things be done in charity.
15Mi petegas vin, fratoj (vi konas la domon de Stefanas, ke ĝi estas la unuaaĵo de la Aĥaja lando, kaj ke ili sin dediĉis al la servo de la sanktuloj),
15And I beseech you, brethren, you know the house of Stephanas, and of Fortunatus, and of Achaicus, that they are the firstfruits of Achaia, and have dedicated themselves to the ministry of the saints:
16ke vi ankaŭ submetiĝu al tiaj, kaj al ĉiu kunhelpanto kaj kunlaboranto.
16That you also be subject to such, and to every one that worketh with us, and laboureth.
17Kaj mi ĝojas pro la alveno de Stefanas kaj Fortunato kaj Aĥaiko, tial, ke vian mankaĵon ili plenigis.
17And I rejoice in the presence of Stephanas, and Fortunatus, and Achaicus, because that which was wanting on your part, they have supplied.
18Ĉar ili refreŝigis mian spiriton kaj vian; rekonu do tiajn.
18For they have refreshed both my spirit and yours. Know them, therefore, that are such.
19La eklezioj de Azio vin salutas. Akvila kaj Priskila vin salutas multe en la Sinjoro, kune kun la eklezio en ilia domo.
19The churches of Asia salute you. Aquila and Priscilla salute you much in the Lord, with the church that is in their house, with whom I also lodge.
20Ĉiuj fratoj vin salutas. Salutu unu la alian per sankta kiso.
20All the brethren salute you. Salute one another with a holy kiss.
21La saluto de mi, Paŭlo, per mia propra mano.
21The salutation of me Paul, with my own hand.
22Se iu ne amas la Sinjoron Jesuo Kristo, li estu anatemita. Maran-ata.
22If any man love not our Lord Jesus Christ, let him be anathema, maranatha.
23La graco de la Sinjoro Jesuo Kristo estu kun vi.
23The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.
24Mia amo estu kun vi ĉiuj en Kristo Jesuo. Amen.
24My charity be with you all in Christ Jesus. Amen.
