1Now we that are stronger, ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves.
1Мы, сильные, должны сносить немощи бессильных и не себе угождать.
2Let every one of you please his neighbour unto good, to edification.
2Каждый из нас должен угождать ближнему, во благо, к назиданию.
3For Christ did not please himself, but as it is written: The reproaches of them that reproached thee, fell upon me.
3Ибо и Христос не Себе угождал, но, как написано: злословия злословящих Тебя пали на Меня.
4For what things soever were written, were written for our learning: that through patience and the comfort of the scriptures, we might have hope.
4А все, что писано было прежде, написано нам в наставление, чтобы мы терпением и утешением из Писаний сохраняли надежду.
5Now the God of patience and of comfort grant you to be of one mind one towards another, according to Jesus Christ:
5Бог же терпения и утешения да дарует вам быть в единомыслии между собою, по учению Христа Иисуса,
6That with one mind, and with one mouth, you may glorify God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
6дабы вы единодушно, едиными устами славили Бога и Отца Господа нашего Иисуса Христа.
7Wherefore receive one another, as Christ also hath received you unto the honour of God.
7Посему принимайте друг друга, как и Христос принял вас в славу Божию.
8For I say that Christ Jesus was minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers.
8Разумею то, что Иисус Христос сделался служителем для обрезанных - ради истины Божией, чтобы исполнить обещанное отцам,
9But that the Gentiles are to glorify God for his mercy, as it is written: Therefore will I confess to thee, O Lord, among the Gentiles, and will sing to thy name.
9а для язычников - из милости, чтобы славили Бога, как написано: за то буду славить Тебя Господи между язычниками, и буду петь имени Твоему.
10And again he saith: Rejoice, ye Gentiles, with his people.
10И еще сказано: возвеселитесь, язычники, с народом Его.
11And again: Praise the Lord, all ye Gentiles; and magnify him, all ye people.
11И еще: хвалите Господа, все язычники, и прославляйте Его, все народы.
12And again Isaias saith: There shall be a root of Jesse; and he that shall rise up to rule the Gentiles, in him the Gentiles shall hope.
12Исаия также говорит: будет корень Иессеев, и восстанет владеть народами; на Него язычники надеяться будут.
13Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing; that you may abound in hope, and in the power of the Holy Ghost.
13Бог же надежды да исполнит вас всякой радости и мира в вере, дабы вы, силою Духа Святаго, обогатились надеждою.
14And I myself also, my brethren, am assured of you, that you also are full of love, replenished with all knowledge, so that you are able to admonish one another.
14И сам я уверен о вас, братия мои, что и вы полны благости, исполнены всякого познания и можете наставлять друг друга;
15But I have written to you, brethren, more boldly in some sort, as it were putting you in mind: because of the grace which is given me from God.
15но писал вам, братия, с некоторою смелостью, отчасти как бы в напоминание вам, по данной мне от Бога благодати
16That I should be the minister of Christ Jesus among the Gentiles; sanctifying the gospel of God, that the oblation of the Gentiles may be made acceptable and sanctified in the Holy Ghost.
16быть служителем Иисуса Христа у язычников и совершать священнодействие благовествования Божия, дабы сие приношение язычников, будучи освящено Духом Святым, было благоприятно Богу.
17I have therefore glory in Christ Jesus towards God.
17Итак я могу похвалиться в Иисусе Христе в том, что относится к Богу,
18For I dare not to speak of any of those things which Christ worketh not by me, for the obedience of the Gentiles, by word and deed,
18ибо не осмелюсь сказать что-нибудь такое, чего не совершил Христос через меня, в покорении язычников вере, словом и делом,
19By the virtue of signs and wonders, in the power of the Holy Ghost, so that from Jerusalem round about as far as unto Illyricum, I have replenished the gospel of Christ.
19силою знамений и чудес, силою Духа Божия, так что благовествование Христово распространено мною от Иерусалима и окрестности до Иллирика.
20And I have so preached this gospel, not where Christ was named, lest I should build upon another man’s foundation.
20Притом я старался благовествовать не там, где уже было известно имя Христово, дабы не созидать на чужом основании,
21But as it is written: They to whom he was not spoken of, shall see, and they that have not heard shall understand.
21но как написано: не имевшие о Нем известия увидят, и не слышавшие узнают.
22For which cause also I was hindered very much from coming to you, and have been kept away till now.
22Сие-то много раз и препятствовало мне придти к вам.
23But now having no more place in these countries, and having a great desire these many years past to come unto you,
23Ныне же, не имея такого места в сих странах, а с давних лет имея желание придти к вам,
24When I shall begin to take my journey into Spain, I hope that as I pass, I shall see you, and be brought on my way thither by you, if first, in part, I shall have enjoyed you:
24как только предприму путь в Испанию, приду к вам. Ибо надеюсь, что, проходя, увижусь с вами и что вы проводите меня туда, как скоро наслажусь общением с вами, хотя отчасти.
25But now I shall go to Jerusalem, to minister unto the saints.
25А теперь я иду в Иерусалим, чтобы послужить святым,
26For it hath pleased them of Macedonia and Achaia to make a contribution for the poor of the saints that are in Jerusalem.
26ибо Македония и Ахаия усердствуют некоторым подаянием для бедных между святыми в Иерусалиме.
27For it hath pleased them; and they are their debtors. For if the Gentiles have been made partakers of their spiritual things, they ought also in carnal things to minister to them.
27Усердствуют, да и должники они перед ними. Ибо если язычники сделались участниками в их духовном, то должны и им послужить в телесном.
28When therefore I shall have accomplished this, and consigned to them this fruit, I will come by you into Spain.
28Исполнив это и верно доставив им сей плод усердия, я отправлюсь через ваши места в Испанию,
29And I know, that when I come to you, I shall come in the abundance of the blessing of the gospel of Christ.
29и уверен, что когда приду к вам, то приду с полным благословением благовествования Христова.
30I beseech you therefore, brethren, through our Lord Jesus Christ, and by the charity of the Holy Ghost, that you help me in your prayers for me to God,
30Между тем умоляю вас, братия, Господом нашим Иисусом Христом и любовью Духа, подвизаться со мною в молитвах за меня к Богу,
31That I may be delivered from the unbelievers that are in Judea, and that the oblation of my service may be acceptable in Jerusalem to the saints.
31чтобы избавиться мне от неверующих в Иудее и чтобы служение мое для Иерусалима было благоприятно святым,
32That I may come to you with joy, by the will of God, and may be refreshed with you.
32дабы мне в радости, если Богу угодно, придти к вам и успокоиться с вами.
33Now the God of peace be with you all. Amen.
33Бог же мира да будет со всеми вами, аминь.
