1These are the mansions of the children of Israel, who went out of Egypt by their troops under the conduct of Moses and Aaron,
1QUESTE son le mosse de' figliuoli d'Israele, che uscirono fuor del paese di Egitto, distinti per le loro schiere, sotto la condotta di Mosè e d'Aaronne;
2Which Moses wrote down according to the places of their encamping, which they changed by the commandment of the Lord.
2(Or Mosè scrisse le lor partite secondo ch'essi si mossero per lo comandamento del Signore); queste, dico, son le lor mosse, secondo le lor partite:
3Now the children of Israel departed from Ramesses the first month, on the fifteenth day of the first month, the day after the phase, with a mighty hand, in the eight of all the Egyptians,
3Essi adunque si partirono di Rameses, nel primo mese, nel quintodecimo giorno del primo mese; i figliuoli d'Israele si partirono il giorno appresso la Pasqua, a mano alzata, alla vista di tutti gli Egizj,
4Who were burying their firstborn, whom the Lord had slain (upon their gods also he had executed vengeance,)
4mentre gli Egizj seppellivano quelli che il Signore avea percossi fra loro, che erano tutti i primogeniti. Or il Signore avea fatti giudicii sopra i lor dii.
5And they camped in Soccoth.
5I figliuoli d'Israele adunque, partitisi di Rameses, si accamparono in Succot.
6And from Soccoth they came into Etham, which is in the uttermost borders of the wilderness.
6E, partitisi di Succot, si accamparono in Etam, ch' è nell'estremità del deserto.
7Departing from thence they came over against Phihahiroth, which looketh towards Beelsephon, and they camped before Magdalum.
7E, partitisi di Etam, si rivolsero verso la foce di Hirot, ch' è dirincontro a Baal-sefon, e si accamparono dinanzi a Migdol.
8And departing from Phihahiroth, they passed through the midst of the sea into the wilderness: and having marched three days through the desert of Etham, they camped in Mara.
8Poi, partitisi d'innanzi a Hirot, passarono per mezzo il mare, traendo verso il deserto; e, andati tre giornate di cammino per lo deserto di Etam, si accamparono in Mara.
9And departing from Mara, they came into Elim, where there were twelve fountains of waters, and seventy palm trees: and there they camped.
9E, partitisi di Mara, giunsero in Elim, ove erano dodici fonti d'acqua, e settanta palme; e si accamparono quivi.
10But departing from thence also, they pitched their tents by the Red Sea. And departing from the Red Sea,
10E, partitisi di Elim, si accamparono presso al mar rosso.
11They camped in the desert of Sin.
11E, partitisi dal mar rosso, si accamparono nel deserto di Sin.
12And they removed from thence, and came to Daphca.

13And departing from Daphca, they camped in Alus.

14And departing from Alus, they pitched their tents in Raphidim, where the people wanted water to drink.
14E, partitisi di Alus, si accamparono in Refidim, ove non era acqua da bere per lo popolo.
15And departing from Raphidim, they camped in the desert of Sinai.
15E, partitisi di Refidim, si accamparono nel deserto di Sinai.
16But departing also from the desert of Sinai, they came to the graves of lust.

17And departing from the graves of lust, they camped in Haseroth.

18And from Haseroth they came to Rethma.

33From thence they went and camped in Jetebatha.

35And departing from Hebrona, they camped in Asiongaber.

36They removed from thence and came into the desert of Sin, which is Cades.
36E, partitisi d'Esion-gaber, si accamparono nel deserto di Sin, ch'è Cades.
37And departing from Cades, they camped in mount Her, in the uttermost borders of the land of Edom.
37E, partitisi di Cades, si accamparono nel monte di Hor, nell'estremità del paese di Edom.
38And Aaron the priest went up into mount Hor at the commandment of the Lord: and there he died in the fortieth year of the coming forth of the children of Israel out of Egypt, the fifth month, the first day of the month,
38E il sacerdote Aaronne salì in sul monte di Hor, per comandamento del Signore, e morì quivi nell'anno quarantesimo da che i figliuoli d'Israele furono usciti fuor del paese di Egitto, nel quinto mese, alle calendi.
39When he was a hundred and twenty-three years old.
39Or Aaronne era d'età di cenventitrè anni, quando egli morì nel monte di Hor.
40And king Arad the Chanaanite, who dwelt towards the south, heard that the children of Israel were come to the land of Chanaan.
40Allora il Cananeo, re di Arad, che abitava verso il mezzodì, nel paese di Canaan, intese la venuta de' figliuoli di Israele.
41And they departed from mount Her, and camped in Salmona.
41Poi, partitisi dal monte di Hor, si accamparono in Salmona.
42From whence they removed and came to Phunon.
42E, partitisi di Salmona, si accamparono in Funon.
43And departing from Phunon, they camped in Oboth.
43E, partitisi di Funon, si accamparono in Obot.
44And from Oboth they came to Ijeabarim, which is in the borders of the Moabites.
44E, partitisi di Obot, si accamparono a' poggi di Abarim, a' confini di Moab.
45And departing from Ijeabarim they pitched their tents in Dibongab.
45E, partitisi da' Poggi, si accamparono in Dibon-Gad.
46From thence they went and camped in Helmondeblathaim.
46E, partitisi di Dibon-Gad, si accamparono in Almon, verso Diblataim.
47And departing from Helmondeblathaim, they came to the mountains of Abarim over against Nabo.
47E, partitisi d'Almon, verso Diblataim, si accamparono nei monti di Abarim, dirimpetto a Nebo.
48And departing from the mountains of Abarim, they passed to the plains of Moab, by the Jordan, over against Jericho.
48E, partitisi da' monti di Abarim, si accamparono nelle campagne di Moab, presso al Giordano di Gerico.
49And there they camped from Bethsi moth even to Ablesatim in the plains of the Moabites,
49E si accamparono presso al Giordano, da Betiesimot fino ad Abel-Sittim, nelle campagne di Moab.
50Where the Lord said to Moses:
50E il Signore parlò a Mosè nelle campagne di Moab, presso al Giordano di Gerico, dicendo:
51Command the children of Israel, and say to them: When you shall have passed over the Jordan, entering into the land of Chanaan,
51Parla a' figliuoli d'Israele, e di' loro: Quando sarete passati il Giordano, e sarete entrati nel paese di Canaan,
52Destroy all the inhabitants of that land: beat down their pillars, and break in pieces their statues, and waste all their high places,
52cacciate d'innanzi a voi tutti gli abitanti del paese, e disfate tutte le loro immagini, e tutte le loro statue di getto, e distruggete tutti i loro alti luoghi.
53Cleansing the land, and dwelling in it. For I have given it you for a possession.
53E mettetevi in possession del paese, e abitate in esso; conciossiachè io vi abbia donato il paese, per possederlo.
54And you shall divide it among you by lot. To the more you shall give a larger part, and to the fewer a lesser. To every one as the lot shall fall, so shall the inheritance be given. The possession shall be divided by the tribes and the families.
54E spartite la possessione del paese a sorte, secondo le vostre nazioni; a quelle che sono in maggior numero date maggior possessione, e minore a quelle che sono in minor numero; in qualunque luogo la sorte d'alcuna gli sarà scaduta quello sia suo; spartitevi la possessione del paese per le vostre tribù paterne.
55But if you will not kill the inhabitants of the land: they that remain, shall be unto you as nails in your eyes, and spears in your sides, and they shall be your adversaries in the land of your habitation.
55E se voi non iscacciate d'innanzi a voi gli abitanti del paese, que' di loro che avrete lasciati di resto vi saranno stecchi agli occhi, e spine a' fianchi, e vi nimicheranno nel paese nel quale abiterete.
56And whatsoever I had thought to do to them, I will do to you.
56E avverrà ch'io farò a voi, come io avea proposto di fare a loro.
