Testamenta Marra (Dieri New Testament)
1And entering into a boat, he passed over the water and came into his own city.
1Ja Nau botani wirina wonti ja pararana wonti, ja ngurani nunkanani wokarana wonti.
2And behold they brought to him one sick of the palsy lying in a bed. And Jesus, seeing their faith, said to the man sick of the palsy: Be of good heart, son, thy sins are forgiven thee.
2Ja mai, tanali tjunduru kulno nunkangu wokaralkana wonti, nau turarani pirini paranani. Ja Jesujeli morlalu ngun‐drana tanani matja najina, Nulu tjundurani jatana wonti: „Murlali nganamai, ngatamurajai, madlentji jinkani matja worana warai!“
3And behold some of the scribes said within themselves: He blasphemeth.
3Ja mai, jaura jinkinietja palpali warawarapana wonti: „Nulupini Goda ngirkibai.“
4And Jesus seeing their thoughts, said: Why do you think evil in your hearts?
4Jesujeli ngundrana tanani matja ngujamana, Nau jatana wonti: „Minandru jura jenia madlentji ngundrai ngarali juranali?
5Whether is easier, to say, Thy sins are forgiven thee: or to say, Arise, and walk?
5Mina morla ngaua nganai jatala kara: «Madlentji jinkani matja worana;» jatala kara: «Terkakamai ja wirariau?»
6But that you may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (then said he to the man sick of palsy,) Arise, take up thy bed, and go into thy house.
6Ja jura ngujamananto, Kanaia Ngatamurajeli ngurula ngamalkai, mitani madlentji worala,“ — Nau tjundurani jatana wonti: „Terkakamai, turarani piri jinkani patau, ja pungaia jinkanaia tikamai.“
7And he arose, and went into his house.
7Ja nau terkakana wonti ja pungaia nunkanaia tikana wonti.
8And the multitude seeing it, feared, and glorified God that gave such power to men.
8Kana wolarali jenia matja najina, tana ngaruparana wonti ja Goda jurakokana wonti, ngangau Nulia jenia ngurula kanani jinkina warai. (Ngantjani‐jaura Matthäus ditjini.)
9And when Jesus passed on from hence, he saw a man sitting in the custom house, named Matthew; and he saith to him: Follow me. And he rose up and followed him.
9Ja Jesus nakandru wapana wonti, ja Nulu kana kulno najina wonti mardatandrakampanietjaia pungani ngamanani, tala nunkani Matthäus; ja Nau nunkangu jatana wonti: „Ngakangu karipateriau!“ Ja nau terkakana wonti ja nunkangu karipaterina wonti.
10And it came to pass as he was sitting at meat in the house, behold many publicans and sinners came, and sat down with Jesus and his disciples.
10Ja jendranguta Nau pungani bukani ngamana wonti; ja mai, mardatandrakampanietja ja madlentji ngankanietja marapu wokarana wonti ja Jesungu ja milini nunkanani jela bukaia ngamana ngarina wonti.
11And the Pharisees seeing it, said to his disciples: Why doth your master eat with publicans and sinners?
11Ja jenia Pharisaiali matja najina, tana milini nunkanani jatana wonti: „Minandru ngujangujara jinkinietjali juranali mardatandrakampanietjani ja madlentji ngankanietjani jelali tajiai?“
12But Jesus hearing it, said: They that are in health need not a physician, but they that are ill.
12Jesujeli jenia matja ngarana, Nau tanangu jatana wonti: „Ngurungurujeli wata kunki ngundrai, a‐ai, windri muntjali.
13Go then and learn what this meaneth, I will have mercy and not sacrifice. For I am not come to call the just, but sinners.
13Wapanau ja kiririanau, mina jenia wondrai: «Ngato kalumiltjamiltjarina ngantjai ja wata poto ngumu;» ngangau ngani wata wokarana warai kana talku karkala, a‐ai, windri kana madlentji.“
14Then came to him the disciples of John, saying: Why do we and the Pharisees fast often, but thy disciples do not fast?
14Jendranguta Johannini mili nunkangu wokarana wonti ja jatana wonti: „Minandru ngaiani ja Pharisaia pota marapu milja ngamai, ja mili jinkani wata milja ngamai?“
15And Jesus said to them: Can the children of the bridegroom mourn, as long as the bridegroom is with them? But the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken away from them, and then they shall fast.
15Ja Jesus tanangu jatana wonti: „Worderu noangantjanipirnaia kamaneli ngaurongauro ngamananto, noangantjanipirna tanangu jela ngananani? Ditji wokarala nganai, tanali noangantjanipirna tanangundru manila nganai; ngadani tanaia milja ngamala nganai.
16And nobody putteth a piece of raw cloth unto an old garment. For it taketh away the fullness thereof from the garment, and there is made a greater rent.
16Wata kulnujeli katini womalani kati tjela ngumu karpai; ngangau kati tjela nakaldra katindru purateriai, ja wilpa morla pirna pantjiai.
17Neither do they put new wine into old bottles. Otherwise the bottles break, and the wine runneth out, and the bottles perish. But new wine they put into new bottles: and both are preserved.
17Ja tanali wata waina marra jungani womalani kurarai; junga purateriati, ja waina ngakaiati, ja junga tintateriati; a‐ai, tanali waina marra junga marrani kurarai ja pudlana jelalu kulkai.“ (Ngantjani‐jaura G. D. XXIV. Trinitatis.)
18And he was speaking these things unto them, behold a certain ruler came up, and adored him, saying: Lord, my daughter is even now dead; but come, lay thy hand upon her, and she shall live.
18Nulu jenia tanangu kaukaubanani, mai, kapara kulno wokarana wonti ja nunkangu pantjaterkana ngarina wonti ja jatana wonti: „Ngatamura mankara ngakani karari matja palina, kaparau, jidni mara nankangu kurateriamai, ja nani tepirila nganai.“
19And Jesus rising up followed him, with his disciples.
19Ja Jesus terkakana wonti ja nunkangu karipaterina wonti, ja mili nunkani bakana.
20And behold a woman who was troubled with an issue of blood twelve years, came behind him, and touched the hem of his garment.
20Ja mai, widla kulno, nani kilpawoldra marapratjana ja mandru kumaranto nganana wonti, nunkangu tokuni wokarana wonti ja kati jelpi nunkani karana wonti.
21For she said within herself: If I shall touch only his garment, I shall be healed.
21Ngangau nani jataterina wonti: „Ngato windri kati nunkani karanani, ngani tepirinani.“
22But Jesus turning and seeing her, said: Be of good heart, daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour.
22Jesujeli najina karitjina wonti ja nana najina wonti ja jatana wonti: „Murlali nganamai, ngatamurajai! morlalu ngundranali jinkanali jidna tepi ngankana warai.“ Ja widla tepirina wonti nunkangupini ditjini.
23And when Jesus was come into the house of the ruler, and saw the minstrels and the multitude making a rout,

24He said: Give place, for the girl is not dead, but sleepeth. And they laughed him to scorn.
24„Piri pinianimai; ngangau mankara wata nari, a‐ai, windri mukaturarai.“ Ja tana kinkana wonti nunkangu.
25And when the multitude was put forth, he went in, and took her by the hand. And the maid arose.
25Ja Nulu kana wolara matja narrana, Nau wirina wonti ja nana mankara mara patana wonti, ja mankara jiritjina wonti.
26And the fame hereof went abroad into all that country.
26Ja naupini pinti marurina wonti nunkangupini mitani paruparu.
27And as Jesus passed from thence, there followed him two blind men crying out and saying, Have mercy on us, O Son of David.
27Ja Jesus nakandru morla palkana wonti, ja nunkangu butju mandru karipaterina wonti, pudla maritjina wonti, ja jatana wonti: „Davidani ngatamurajai, ngalingu kalumiltjamiltjariau!“
28And when he was come to the house, the blind men came to him. And Jesus saith to them, Do you believe, that I can do this unto you? They say to him, Yea, Lord.
28Nau pungani wirinani, butju wulu nunkangu wokarana wonti, ja Jesus pudlangu jatana wonti: „Judla morlalu ngundrai, ngani ngurunguru nganai, jenia ngankala“? Pudla nunkangu jatana wonti: „Kau, Kaparajai!“
29Then he touched their eyes, saying, According to your faith, be it done unto you.
29Ngadani Nulu pudlana milki karakarana wonti ja jatana wonti: „Worderu judla morlalu ngundrana warai, jeruja jud‐langu pantjiatimai.“
30And their eyes were opened, and Jesus strictly charged them, saying, See that no man know this.
30Ja pudla milki piririna wonti. Ja Jesujeli pudlana daudauana wonti ja jatana wonti: „Ngamalkaterialumai, wata kanali jenia ngujamananto.“
31But they going out, spread his fame abroad in all that country.
31Pudla dunkana wonti ja nunkangundru kaukaubana wonti nunkangupini mitani paruparu.
32And when they were gone out, behold they brought him a dumb man, possessed with a devil.
32Pudla puntinani, mai, tanali nunkangu kana ngapu kutjinto wokaralkana wonti.
33And after the devil was cast out, the dumb man spoke, and the multitudes wondered, saying, Never was the like seen in Israel.
33Ja Nulu kutji matja dunkalkana warai, kana ngapula jatana wonti. Ja kana wolara ngaruparana wonti ja jatana wonti: „Wata pota kulno jenia Israelani pantjinala.“
34But the Pharisees said, By the prince of devils he casteth out devils.
34Pharisaia jatana wonti: „Nulia kutji dunkalkai kutjia kaparali.“
35And Jesus went about all the cities, and towns, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every disease, and every infirmity.
35Ja Jesus wirarina wonti ngura pirnani ja wakani pratjanani, ja ngujangujara jinkina wonti jaura pungani tananani, ja ngantjani jaura mililandru kaukaubana wonti, ja tepi ngankana wonti muntja pratjana ja waltowalto pratjana kana wolarandru.
36And seeing the multitudes, he had compassion on them: because they were distressed, and lying like sheep that have no shepherd.

37Jendranguta Nau milini nunkanani jatana wonti: „Kampananto marapu parai, ja ngankanietja windri ngalje.“
38Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he send forth labourers into his harvest.
38Jendrania Kampania Kaparani ngatjianimai, Nulia ngankanietja jinpananto nunkani kampanaia.
