1And it came to pass in that year, in the beginning of the reign of Sedecias king of Juda, in the fourth year, in the fifth month, that Hananias the son of Azur, a prophet of Gabaon spoke to me, in the house of the Lord before the priests, and all the people, saying:
1А исте године, у почетку царовања Седекије цара Јудиног, четврте године, петог месеца, рече ми Ананија син Азоров, пророк из Гаваона, у дому Господњем пред свештеницима и свим народом говорећи:
2Thus saith the Lord of hosts the God of Israel: I have broken the yoke of the king of Babylon.
2Овако вели Господ над војскама Бог Израиљев: Сломих јарам цара вавилонског.
3As yet two years of days, and I will cause all the vessels of the house of the Lord to be brought back into this place, which Nabuchodonosor king of Babylon took away from this place, and carried them to Babylon.
3До две године ја ћу вратити на ово место све судове дома Господњег, које узе Навуходоносор цар вавилонски одавде и однесе у Вавилон.
4And I will bring back to this place Jechonias the son of Joakim king of Juda, and all the captives of Juda, that are gone to Babylon, saith the Lord: for I will break the yoke of the king of Babylon.
4И Јехонију сина Јоакимовог цара Јудиног и све робље Јудино што оде у Вавилон, ја ћу довести опет на ово место, говори Господ, јер ћу сломити јарам цара вавилонског.
5And Jeremias the prophet said to Hananias the prophet in the presence of the priests, and in the presence of all the people that stood in the house of the Lord:
5Тада рече Јеремија пророк Ананији пророку пред свештеницима и пред свим народом, који стајаше у дому Господњем.
6And Jeremias the prophet said: Amen, the Lord do so: the Lord perform thy words, which thou hast prophesied: that the vessels may be brought again into the house of the Lord, and all the captives may return out of Babylon to this place.
6Рече Јеремија пророк: Амин, да Господ учини тако, да Господ испуни твоје речи што си пророковао да би вратио судове дома Господњег и све робље из Вавилона на ово место.
7Nevertheless hear this word that I speak in thy ears, and in the ears of all the people:
7Али чуј ову реч коју ћу ја казати пред тобом и пред свим народом:
8The prophets that have been before me, and before thee from the beginning, and have prophesied concerning many countries, and concerning great kingdoms, of war, and of affliction, and of famine.
8Пророци који су били пре мене и пре тебе од старине, они пророковаше многим земљама и великим царствима рат и невољу и помор.
9The prophet that prophesied peace when his word shall come to pass, the prophet shall be known, whom the Lord hath sent in truth.
9Пророк који прориче мир, кад се збуде реч тог пророка, онда се познаје тај пророк да га је заиста послао Господ.
10And Hananias the prophet took the chain from the neck of Jeremias the prophet, and broke it.
10Тада Ананија пророк скиде јарам с врата Јеремији пророку и сломи га.
11And Hananias spoke in the presence of all the people, saying: Thus saith the Lord: Even so will I break the yoke of Nabuchodonosor the king of Babylon after two full years from off the neck of all the nations.
11И рече Ананија пред свим народом говорећи: Овако вели Господ: Овако ћу сломити јарам Навуходоносора, цара вавилонског, до две године с врата свих народа. И оде пророк Јеремија својим путем.
12And Jeremias the prophet went his way. And the word of the Lord came to Jeremias, after that Hananias the prophet had broken the chain from off the neck of Jeremias the prophet, saying:
12Али дође реч Господња Јеремији, пошто сломи Ананија пророк јарам с врата Јеремији пророку, и рече:
13Go, and tell Hananias: Thus saith the Lord: Thou hast broken chains of wood, and thou shalt make for them chains of iron.
13Иди и кажи Ананији и реци: Овако вели Господ: Сломио си јарам дрвени, али начини место њега гвозден јарам.
14For thus saith the Lord of hosts the God of Israel: I have put a yoke of iron upon the neck of all these nations, to serve Nabuchodonosor king of Babylon, and they shall serve him: moreover also I have given him the beasts of the earth.
14Јер овако вели Господ над војскама Бог Израиљев: гвозден ћу јарам метнути на врат свим тим народима да служе Навуходоносору, цару вавилонском, и служиће му, дао сам му и зверје пољско.
15And Jeremias the prophet said to Hananias the prophet: Hear now, Hananias: the Lord hath not sent thee, and thou hast made this people to trust in a lie.
15Потом рече Јеремија пророк Ананији пророку: Чуј, Ананија; није те послао Господ, а ти си учинио да се народ овај поузда у лаж.
16Therefore thus saith the Lord: Behold I will send thee away from off the face of the earth: this year shalt thou die: for thou hast spoken against the Lord.
16Зато овако вели Господ: Ево, ја ћу те скинути са земље, ове године ти ћеш умрети; јер си казивао одмет од Господа.
17And Hananias the prophet died in that year, in the seventh month.
17И умре пророк Ананија те године седмог месеца.
