1我又举目观看，见一人手拿准绳。
1(2-5) And I lifted up mine eyes, and saw, and behold a man with a measuring line in his hand.
2我说：「你往哪里去？」他对我说：「要去量 耶路撒冷 ，看有多宽多长。」
2(2-6) Then said I: 'Whither goest thou?' And he said unto me: 'To measure Jerusalem, to see what is the breadth thereof, and what is the length thereof.'
3与我说话的天使去的时候，又有一位天使迎着他来，
3(2-7) And, behold, the angel that spoke with me went forth, and another angel went out to meet him,
4对他说：「你跑去告诉那少年人说， 耶路撒冷 必有人居住，好像无城墙的乡村，因为人民和牲畜甚多。
4(2-8) and said unto him: 'Run, speak to this young man, saying: 'Jerusalem shall be inhabited without walls for the multitude of men and cattle therein.
5耶和华说：我要作 耶路撒冷 四围的火城，并要作其中的荣耀。」
5(2-9) For I, saith the LORD, will be unto her a wall of fire round about, and I will be the glory in the midst of her.
6耶和华说：「我从前分散你们在天的四方，现在你们要从北方之地逃回。这是耶和华说的。
6(2-10) Ho, ho, flee then from the land of the north, saith the LORD; for I have spread you abroad as the four winds of the heaven, saith the LORD.
7与 巴比伦 人同住的 锡安 民哪，应当逃脱。
7(2-11) Ho, Zion, escape, thou that dwellest with the daughter of Babylon.'
8万军之耶和华说，在显出荣耀之后，差遣我去 惩罚 那掳掠你们的列国，摸你们的就是摸他眼中的瞳人。
8(2-12) For thus saith the LORD of hosts who sent me after glory unto the nations which spoiled you: 'Surely, he that toucheth you toucheth the apple of his eye.
9看哪，我要向他们抡手，他们就必作服事他们之人的掳物，你们便知道万军之耶和华差遣我了。
9(2-13) For, behold, I will shake My hand over them, and they shall be a spoil to those that served them'; and ye shall know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me.
10锡安 城啊，应当欢乐歌唱，因为我来要住在你中间。这是耶和华说的。」
10(2-14) 'Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion; for, lo, I come, and I will dwell in the midst of thee, saith the LORD.
11那时，必有许多国归附耶和华，作他的子民。他要住在你中间，你就知道万军之耶和华差遣我到你那里去了。
11(2-15) And many nations shall join themselves to the LORD in that day, and shall be My people, and I will dwell in the midst of thee'; and thou shalt know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me unto thee.
12耶和华必收回 犹大 作他圣地的分，也必再拣选 耶路撒冷 。
12(2-16) And the LORD shall inherit Judah as His portion in the holy land, and shall choose Jerusalem again.
13凡有血气的都当在耶和华面前静默无声；因为他兴起，从圣所出来了。
13(2-17) Be silent, all flesh, before the LORD; for He is aroused out of His holy habitation.
