1犹大 王 约西亚 的儿子 约雅敬 第四年，就是 巴比伦 王 尼布甲尼撒 的元年， 耶和华 论 犹大 众民的话临到 耶利米 。
1The word that came to Jeremias concerning all the people of Juda, in the fourth year of Joakim the son of Josias king of Juda, (the same is the first year of Nabuchodonosor king of Babylon,)
2先知 耶利米 就将这话对 犹大 众人和 耶路撒冷 的一切居民说：
2Which Jeremias the prophet spoke to all the people of Juda, and to all the inhabitants of Jerusalem, saying:
3「从 犹大 王 亚们 的儿子 约西亚 十三年直到今日，这二十三年之内，常有耶和华的话临到我；我也对你们传说，就是从早起来传说，只是你们没有听从。
3From the thirteenth year of Josias the son of Ammon king of Juda until this day: this is the three and twentieth year, the word of the Lord hath come to me, and I have spoken to you, rising before day, and speaking, and you have not hearkened.
4耶和华也从早起来，差遣他的仆人众先知到你们这里来（只是你们没有听从，也没有侧耳而听），
4And the Lord hath sent to you all his servants the prophets, rising early, and sending, and you have not hearkened, nor inclined your ears to hear.
5说：『你们各人当回头，离开恶道和所作的恶，便可居住耶和华古时所赐给你们和你们列祖之地，直到永远。
5When he said: Return ye, every one from his evil way, and from your wicked devices, and you shall dwell in the land which the Lord hath given to you, and your fathers for ever and ever.
6不可随从别神事奉敬拜，以你们手所做的惹我发怒；这样，我就不加害与你们。
6And go not after strange gods to serve them, and adore them: nor provoke me to wrath by the works of your hands, and I will not afflict you.
7然而你们没有听从我，竟以手所做的惹我发怒，陷害自己。这是耶和华说的。』」
7And you have not heard me, saith the Lord, that you might provoke me to anger with the works of your hands, to your own hurt.
8所以万军之耶和华如此说：「因为你们没有听从我的话，
8Therefore thus saith the Lord of hosts: Because you have not heard my words:
9我必召北方的众族和我仆人 巴比伦 王 尼布甲尼撒 来攻击这地和这地的居民，并四围一切的国民。我要将他们尽行灭绝，以致他们令人惊骇、嗤笑，并且永久荒凉。这是耶和华说的。
9Behold I will send, and take all the kindreds of the north, saith the Lord, and Nabuchodonosor the king of Babylon my servant: and I will bring them against this land, and against the inhabitants thereof, and against all the nations that are round about it: and I will destroy them, and make them an astonishment and a hissing, and perpetual desolations.
10我又要使欢喜和快乐的声音，新郎和新妇的声音，推磨的声音和灯的亮光，从他们中间止息。
10And I will take away from them the voice of mirth, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride, the sound of the mill, and the light of the lamp.
11这全地必然荒凉，令人惊骇。这些国民要服事 巴比伦 王七十年。
11And all this land shall be a desolation, and an astonishment: and all these nations shall serve the king of Babylon seventy years.
12七十年满了以后，我必刑罚 巴比伦 王和那国民，并 迦勒底 人之地，因他们的罪孽使那地永远荒凉。这是耶和华说的。
12And when the seventy years shall be expired, I will punish the king of Babylon, and that nation, saith the Lord, for their iniquity, and the land of the Chaldeans: and I will make it perpetual desolations.
13我也必使我向那地所说的话，就是记在这书上的话，是 耶利米 向这些国民说的预言，都临到那地。
13And I will bring upon the land all my words, that I have spoken against it, all that is written in this book, all that Jeremias hath prophesied against all nations:
14因为有多国和大君王必使 迦勒底 人作奴仆；我也必照他们的行为，按他们手所做的报应他们。」
14For they have served them, whereas they were many nations, and great kings: and I will repay them according to their deeds, and according to the works of their hands.
15耶和华— 以色列 的 神对我如此说：「你从我手中接这杯忿怒的酒，使我所差遣你去的各国的民喝。
15For thus saith the Lord of hosts the God of Israel: Take the cup of wine of this fury at my hand: and thou shalt make all nations to drink thereof, unto which I shall send thee.
16他们喝了就要东倒西歪，并要发狂，因我使刀剑临到他们中间。」
16And they shall drink, and be troubled, and be mad because of the sword, which I shall send among them.
17我就从耶和华的手中接了这杯，给耶和华所差遣我去的各国的民喝，
17And I took the cup at the hand of the Lord, and I presented it to all the nations to drink of it, to which the Lord sent me:
18就是 耶路撒冷 和 犹大 的城邑，并 耶路撒冷 的君王与首领，使这城邑荒凉，令人惊骇、嗤笑、咒诅，正如今日一样。
18To wit, Jerusalem, and the cities of Juda, and the kings thereof, and the princes thereof: to make them a desolation, and an astonishment, and a hissing, and a curse, as it is at this day.
19又有 埃及 王法老和他的臣仆、首领，以及他的众民，
19Pharao the king of Egypt, and his servants, and his princes, and all his people,
20并杂族的人民和 乌斯 地的诸王，与 非利士 地的诸王（ 亚实基伦 、 迦萨 、 以革伦 ，以及 亚实突 剩下的人）；
20And all in general: all the kings of the land of Ausitis, and all the kings of the land of the Philistines, and Ascalon, and Gaza, and Accaron, and the remnant of Azotus.
21以东 、 摩押 、 亚扪 人、
21And Edom, and Moab, and the children of Ammon.
22泰尔 的诸王、 西顿 的诸王、海岛的诸王、
22And all the kings of Tyre, and all the kings of Sidon: and the kings of the land of the islands that are beyond the sea.
23底但 、 提玛 、 布斯 ，和一切剃周围 头发 的；
23And Dedan, and Thema, and Buz, and all that have their hair cut round.
24阿拉伯 的诸王、住旷野杂族人民的诸王、
24And all the kings of Arabia, and all the kings of the west, that dwell in the desert.
25心利 的诸王、 以拦 的诸王、 米底亚 的诸王、
25And all the kings of Zambri, and all the kings of Elam, and all the kings of Medes:
26北方远近的诸王，以及天下地上的万国喝了，以后 示沙克 王也要喝。
26And all the kings of the north far and near, every one against his brother: and all the kingdoms of the earth, which are upon the face thereof: and the king of Sesac shall drink after them.
27「你要对他们说：『万军之耶和华— 以色列 的 神如此说：你们要喝，且要喝醉，要呕吐，且要跌倒，不得再起来，都因我使刀剑临到你们中间。』
27And thou shalt say to them: Thus saith the Lord of hosts the God of Israel: Drink ye, and be drunken, and vomit: and fall, and rise no more, because of the sword, which I shall send among you.
28「他们若不肯从你手接这杯喝，你就要对他们说：『万军之耶和华如此说：你们一定要喝！
28And if they refuse to take the cup at thy hand to drink, thou shalt say to them: Thus saith the Lord of hosts: Drinking you shall drink:
29我既从称为我名下的城起首施行灾祸，你们能尽免刑罚吗？你们必不能免，因为我要命刀剑临到地上一切的居民。这是万军之耶和华说的。』
29For behold I begin to bring evil on the city wherein my name is called upon: and shall you be as innocent and escape free? you shall not escape free: for I will call for the sword upon all the inhabitants of the earth, saith the Lord of hosts.
30「所以你要向他们预言这一切的话，攻击他们，说： 耶和华必从高天吼叫， 从圣所发声， 向自己的羊群大声吼叫； 他要向地上一切的居民呐喊， 像踹 葡萄 的一样。
30And thou shalt prophesy unto them all these words, and thou shalt say to them: The Lord shall roar from on high, and shall utter his voice from his holy habitation: roaring he shall roar upon the place of his beauty: the shout as it were of them that tread grapes shall be given out against all the inhabitants of the earth.
31必有响声达到地极， 因为耶和华与列国相争； 凡有血气的，他必审问； 至于恶人，他必交给刀剑。 这是耶和华说的。
31The noise is come even to the ends of the earth: for the Lord entereth into judgement with the nations: he entereth into judgement with all flesh; the wicked I have delivered up to the sword, saith the Lord.
32万军之耶和华如此说： 看哪，必有灾祸从这国发到那国， 并有大暴风从地极刮起。
32Thus saith the Lord of hosts: Behold evil shall go forth from nation to nation: and a great whirlwind shall go forth from the ends of the earth.
33「到那日，从地这边直到地那边都有耶和华所杀戮的。必无人哀哭，不得收殓，不得葬埋，必在地上成为粪土。
33And the slain of the Lord shall be at that day from one end of the earth even to the other end thereof: they shall not be lamented, and they shall not be gathered up, nor buried: they shall lie as dung upon the face of the earth.
34牧人哪，你们当哀号，呼喊； 群众的头目啊，你们要滚 在灰中 ； 因为你们被杀戮分散的日子足足来到。 你们要跌碎，好像美器打碎一样。
34Howl, ye shepherds, and cry: and sprinkle yourselves with ashes, ye leaders of the flock: for the days of your slaughter and your dispersion are accomplished, and you shall fall like precious vessels.
35牧人无路逃跑； 群众的头目也无法逃脱。
35And the shepherds shall have no way to flee, nor the leaders of the flock to save themselves.
36听啊，有牧人呼喊， 有群众头目哀号的声音， 因为耶和华使他们的草场变为荒场。
36A voice of the cry of the shepherds, and a howling of the principal of the flock: because the Lord hath wasted their pastures.
37耶和华发出猛烈的怒气， 平安的羊圈就都寂静无声。
37And the fields of peace have been silent, because of the fierce anger of the Lord.
38他离了隐密处像狮子一样， 他们的地，因 刀剑 凶猛的欺压， 又因他猛烈的怒气都成为可惊骇的。」
38He has forsaken his covert as the lion, for the land is laid waste because of the wrath of the dove, and because of the fierce anger of the Lord.
