1以笏 死后， 以色列 人又行耶和华眼中看为恶的事，
1And the children of Israel again did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, when Ehud was dead.
2耶和华就把他们付与在 夏琐 作王的 迦南 王 耶宾 手中；他的将军是 西西拉 ，住在外邦人的 夏罗设 。
2And the LORD gave them over into the hand of Jabin king of Canaan, that reigned in Hazor; the captain of whose host was Sisera, who dwelt in Harosheth-goiim.
3耶宾 王有铁车九百辆。他大大欺压 以色列 人二十年， 以色列 人就呼求耶和华。
3And the children of Israel cried unto the LORD; for he had nine hundred chariots of iron; and twenty years he mightily oppressed the children of Israel.
4有一位女先知名叫 底波拉 ，是 拉比多 的妻，当时作 以色列 的士师。
4Now Deborah, a prophetess, the wife of Lappidoth, she judged Israel at that time.
5她住在 以法莲 山地 拉玛 和 伯特利 中间，在 底波拉 的棕树下。 以色列 人都上她那里去听判断。
5And she sat under the palm-tree of Deborah between Ramah and Beth-el in the hill-country of Ephraim; and the children of Israel came up to her for judgment.
6她打发人从 拿弗他利 的 基低斯 将 亚比挪庵 的儿子 巴拉 召了来，对他说：「耶和华— 以色列 的 神吩咐你说：『你率领一万 拿弗他利 和 西布伦 人上 他泊山 去。
6And she sent and called Barak the son of Abinoam out of Kedesh-naphtali, and said unto him: 'Hath not the LORD, the God of Israel, commanded, saying: Go and draw toward mount Tabor, and take with thee ten thousand men of the children of Naphtali and of the children of Zebulun?
7我必使 耶宾 的将军 西西拉 率领他的车辆和全军往 基顺河 ，到你那里去；我必将他交在你手中。』」
7And I will draw unto thee to the brook Kishon Sisera, the captain of Jabin's army, with his chariots and his multitude; and I will deliver him into thy hand.
8巴拉 说：「你若同我去，我就去；你若不同我去，我就不去。」
8And Barak said unto her: 'If thou wilt go with me, then I will go; but if thou wilt not go with me, I will not go.'
9底波拉 说：「我必与你同去，只是你在所行的路上得不着荣耀，因为耶和华要将 西西拉 交在一个妇人手里。」于是 底波拉 起来，与 巴拉 一同往 基低斯 去了。
9And she said: 'I will surely go with thee; notwithstanding the journey that thou takest shall not be for thy honour; for the LORD will give Sisera over into the hand of a woman.' And Deborah arose, and went with Barak to Kedesh.
10巴拉 就招聚 西布伦 人和 拿弗他利 人到 基低斯 ，跟他上去的有一万人。 底波拉 也同他上去。
10And Barak called Zebulun and Naphtali together to Kedesh; and there went up ten thousand men at his feet; and Deborah went up with him.
11摩西 岳父 何巴 的后裔， 基尼 人 希百 曾离开 基尼 族，到靠近 基低斯 、 撒拿音 的橡树旁支搭帐棚。
11Now Heber the Kenite had severed himself from the Kenites, even from the children of Hobab the father-in-law of Moses, and had pitched his tent as far as Elon-bezaanannim, which is by Kedesh.
12有人告诉 西西拉 说：「 亚比挪庵 的儿子 巴拉 已经上 他泊山 了。」
12And they told Sisera that Barak the son of Abinoam was gone up to mount Tabor.
13西西拉 就聚集所有的铁车九百辆和跟随他的全军，从外邦人的 夏罗设 出来，到了 基顺河 。
13And Sisera gathered together all his chariots, even nine hundred chariots of iron, and all the people that were with him, from Harosheth-goiim, unto the brook Kishon.
14底波拉 对 巴拉 说：「你起来，今日就是耶和华将 西西拉 交在你手的日子。耶和华岂不在你前头行吗？」于是 巴拉 下了 他泊山 ，跟随他有一万人。
14And Deborah said unto Barak: 'Up; for this is the day in which the LORD hath delivered Sisera into thy hand; is not the LORD gone out before thee?' So Barak went down from mount Tabor, and ten thousand men after him.
15耶和华使 西西拉 和他一切车辆全军溃乱，在 巴拉 面前被刀杀败； 西西拉 下车步行逃跑。
15And the LORD discomfited Sisera, and all his chariots, and all his host, with the edge of the sword before Barak; and Sisera alighted from his chariot, and fled away on his feet.
16巴拉 追赶车辆、军队，直到外邦人的 夏罗设 。 西西拉 的全军都倒在刀下，没有留下一人。
16But Barak pursued after the chariots, and after the host, unto Harosheth-goiim; and all the host of Sisera fell by the edge of the sword; there was not a man left.
17只有 西西拉 步行逃跑，到了 基尼 人 希百 之妻 雅亿 的帐棚，因为 夏琐 王 耶宾 与 基尼 人 希百 家和好。
17Howbeit Sisera fled away on his feet to the tent of Jael the wife of Heber the Kenite; for there was peace between Jabin the king of Hazor and the house of Heber the Kenite.
18雅亿 出来迎接 西西拉 ，对他说：「请我主进来，不要惧怕」； 西西拉 就进了她的帐棚。 雅亿 用被将他遮盖。
18And Jael went out to meet Sisera, and said unto him: 'Turn in, my lord, turn in to me; fear not.' And he turned in unto her into the tent, and she covered him with a rug.
19西西拉 对 雅亿 说：「我渴了，求你给我一点水喝。」 雅亿 就打开皮袋，给他奶子喝，仍旧把他遮盖。
19And he said unto her: 'Give me, I pray thee, a little water to drink; for I am thirsty.' And she opened a bottle of milk, and gave him drink, and covered him.
20西西拉 又对 雅亿 说：「请你站在帐棚门口，若有人来问你说：『有人在这里没有？』你就说：『没有。』」
20And he said unto her: 'Stand in the door of the tent, and it shall be, when any man doth come and inquire of thee, and say: Is there any man here? that thou shalt say: No.'
21西西拉 疲乏沉睡。 希百 的妻 雅亿 取了帐棚的橛子，手里拿着锤子，轻悄悄地到他旁边，将橛子从他鬓边钉进去，钉入地里。 西西拉 就死了。
21Then Jael Heber's wife took a tent-pin, and took a hammer in her hand, and went softly unto him, and smote the pin into his temples, and it pierced through into the ground; for he was in a deep sleep; so he swooned and died.
22巴拉 追赶 西西拉 的时候， 雅亿 出来迎接他说：「来吧，我将你所寻找的人给你看。」他就进入帐棚，看见 西西拉 已经死了，倒在地上，橛子还在他鬓中。
22And, behold, as Barak pursued Sisera, Jael came out to meet him, and said unto him: 'Come, and I will show thee the man whom thou seekest.' And he came unto her; and, behold, Sisera lay dead, and the tent-pin was in his temples.
23这样， 神使 迦南 王 耶宾 被 以色列 人制伏了。
23So God subdued on that day Jabin the king of Canaan before the children of Israel.
24从此 以色列 人的手越发有力，胜了 迦南 王 耶宾 ，直到将他灭绝了。
24And the hand of the children of Israel prevailed more and more against Jabin the king of Canaan, until they had destroyed Jabin king of Canaan.
