1玛拿西 登基的时候年十二岁，在 耶路撒冷 作王五十五年。
1Manasses was twelve years old when he began to reign, and he reigned fifty-five years in Jerusalem.
2他行耶和华眼中看为恶的事，效法耶和华在 以色列 人面前赶出的外邦人那可憎的事，
2And he did evil before the Lord, according to all the abominations of the nations, which the Lord cast out before the children of Israel:
3重新建筑他父 希西家 所拆毁的邱坛，又为 巴力 筑坛，做木偶，且敬拜事奉天上的万象，
3And he turned, and built again the high places which Ezechias his father had destroyed: and he built altars to Baalim, and made groves, and he adored all the host of heaven, and worshipped them.
4在耶和华的殿宇中筑坛—耶和华曾指着这殿说：「我的名必永远在 耶路撒冷 。」
4He built also altars in the house of the Lord, whereof the Lord had said: In Jerusalem shall my name be for ever.
5他在耶和华殿的两院中为天上的万象筑坛，
5And he built them for all the host of heaven in the two courts of the house of the Lord.
6并在 欣嫩子谷 使他的儿女经火，又观兆，用法术，行邪术，立交鬼的和行巫术的，多行耶和华眼中看为恶的事，惹动他的怒气，
6And he made his sons to pass through the fire in the valley of Benennom: he observed dreams, followed divinations, gave himself up to magic arts, had with him magicians, and enchanters: and he wrought many evils before the Lord, to provoke him to anger.
7又在 神殿内立雕刻的偶像。 神曾对 大卫 和他儿子 所罗门 说：「我在 以色列 各支派中所选择的 耶路撒冷 和这殿，必立我的名直到永远。
7He set also a graven, and a molten statue in the house of God, of which God had said to David, and to Solomon his son: In this house, and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen out of all the tribes of Israel, will I put my name for ever.
8以色列 人若谨守遵行我借 摩西 所吩咐他们的一切法度、律例、典章，我就不再使他们挪移离开我所赐给他们列祖之地。」
8And I will not make the foot of Israel to be removed out of the land which I have delivered to their fathers: yet so if they will take heed to do what I hare commanded them, and all the law, and the ceremonies, and judgments by the hand of Moses.
9玛拿西 引诱 犹大 和 耶路撒冷 的居民，以致他们行恶比耶和华在 以色列 人面前所灭的列国更甚。
9So Manasses seduced Juda, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, to do evil beyond all the nations, which the Lord had destroyed before the face of the children of Israel.
10耶和华警戒 玛拿西 和他的百姓，他们却是不听。
10And the Lord spoke to him, and to his people, and they would not hearken.
11所以耶和华使 亚述 王的将帅来攻击他们，用铙钩钩住 玛拿西 ，用铜链锁住他，带到 巴比伦 去。
11Therefore he brought upon them the captains of the army of the king of the Assyrians: and they took Manasses, and carried him bound with chains and fetters to Babylon.
12他在急难的时候，就恳求耶和华—他的 神，且在他列祖的 神面前极其自卑。
12And after that he was in distress he prayed to the Lord his God: and did penance exceedingly before the God of his fathers.
13他祈祷耶和华，耶和华就允准他的祈求，垂听他的祷告，使他归回 耶路撒冷 ，仍坐国位。 玛拿西 这才知道惟独耶和华是 神。
13And he entreated him, and besought him earnestly: and he heard his prayer, and brought him again to Jerusalem into his kingdom, and Manasses knew that the Lord was God.
14此后， 玛拿西 在 大卫城 外，从谷内 基训 西边直到 鱼门 口，建筑城墙，环绕 俄斐勒 ，这墙筑得甚高；又在 犹大 各坚固城内设立勇敢的军长；
14After this he built a wall without the city of David, on the west side of Gihon in the valley, from the entering in of the fish gate round about to Ophel, and raised it up to a great height: and he appointed captains of the army in all the fenced cities of Juda:
15并除掉外邦人的神像与耶和华殿中的偶像，又将他在耶和华殿的山上和 耶路撒冷 所筑的各坛都拆毁抛在城外；
15And he took away the strange gods, and the idol out of the house of the Lord: the altars also which he had made in the mount of the house of the Lord, and in Jerusalem, and he cast them all out of the city.
16重修耶和华的祭坛，在坛上献平安祭、感谢祭，吩咐 犹大 人事奉耶和华— 以色列 的 神。
16And he repaired the altar of the Lord, and sacrificed upon it victims, and peace offerings, and praise: and he commanded Juda to serve the Lord the God of Israel.
17百姓却仍在邱坛上献祭，只献给耶和华—他们的 神。
17Nevertheless the people still sacrificed in the high places to the Lord their God.
18玛拿西 其余的事和祷告他 神的话，并先见奉耶和华— 以色列 神的名警戒他的言语，都写在 以色列 诸王记上。
18But the rest of the acts of Manasses, and his prayer to his God, and the words of the seers that spoke to him in the name of the Lord the God of Israel, are contained in the words of the kings of Israel.
19他的祷告，与 神 怎样应允他，他未自卑以前的罪愆过犯，并在何处建筑邱坛，设立 亚舍拉 和雕刻的偶像，都写在 何赛 的书上。
19His prayer also, and his being heard, and all his sins, and contempt, and places wherein he built high places, and set up groves, and statues before he did penance, are written in the words of Hozai.
20玛拿西 与他列祖同睡，葬在自己的宫院里。他儿子 亚们 接续他作王。
20And Manasses slept with his fathers. and they buried him in his house: and his son Amen reigned in his stead.
21亚们 登基的时候年二十二岁，在 耶路撒冷 作王二年。
21Amen was two and twenty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned two years in Jerusalem.
22他行耶和华眼中看为恶的事，效法他父 玛拿西 所行的，祭祀事奉他父 玛拿西 所雕刻的偶像，
22And he did evil in the sight of the Lord, as Manasses his father had done: and he sacrificed to all the idols which Manasses his father had made, and served them.
23不在耶和华面前像他父 玛拿西 自卑。这 亚们 所犯的罪越犯越大。
23And he did not humble himself before the Lord, as Manasses his father had humbled himself, but committed far greater sins.
24他的臣仆背叛，在宫里杀了他。
24And his servants conspired against him, and slew him in his own house.
25但国民杀了那些背叛 亚们 王的人，立他儿子 约西亚 接续他作王。
25But the rest of the multitude of the people slew them that had killed Amen, and made Josias his son king in his stead.
