1国民立 约西亚 的儿子 约哈斯 在 耶路撒冷 接续他父作王。
1Then the people of the land took Joachaz the son of Josias, and made him king instead of his father in Jerusalem.
2约哈斯 登基的时候年二十三岁，在 耶路撒冷 作王三个月。
2Joachaz was three and twenty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned three months in Jerusalem.
3埃及 王在 耶路撒冷 废了他，又罚 犹大 国银子一百他连得，金子一他连得。
3And the king of Egypt came to Jerusalem, and deposed him, and condemned the land in a hundred talents of silver, and a talent of gold.
4埃及 王 尼哥 立 约哈斯 的哥哥 以利雅敬 作 犹大 和 耶路撒冷 的王，改名叫 约雅敬 ，又将 约哈斯 带到 埃及 去了。
4And he made Eliakim his brother king in his stead, over Juda and Jerusalem: and he turned his name to Joakim: but he took Joachaz with him, and carried him away into Egypt.
5约雅敬 登基的时候年二十五岁，在 耶路撒冷 作王十一年，行耶和华—他 神眼中看为恶的事。
5Joakim was five and twenty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned eleven years in Jerusalem: and he did evil before the Lord his God.
6巴比伦 王 尼布甲尼撒 上来攻击他，用铜链锁着他，要将他带到 巴比伦 去。
6Against him came up Nabuchodonosor king of the Chaldeans, and led him bound in chains into Babylon.
7尼布甲尼撒 又将耶和华殿里的器皿带到 巴比伦 ，放在他神的庙里。
7And he carried also thither the vessels of the Lord, and put them in his temple.
8约雅敬 其余的事和他所行可憎的事，并他一切的行为，都写在 以色列 和 犹大 列王记上。他儿子 约雅斤 接续他作王。
8But the rest of the acts of Joakim, and his abominations, which he wrought, and the things that were found in him, are contained in the book of the kings of Juda and Israel. And Joachin his son reigned in his stead.
9约雅斤 登基的时候年八岁，在 耶路撒冷 作王三个月零十天，行耶和华眼中看为恶的事。
9Joachin was eight years old when he began to reign, and he reigned three months and ten days in Jerusalem, and he did evil in the sight of the Lord.
10过了一年， 尼布甲尼撒 差遣人将 约雅斤 和耶和华殿里各样宝贵的器皿带到 巴比伦 ，就立 约雅斤 的叔叔 西底家 作 犹大 和 耶路撒冷 的王。
10And at the return of the year, king Nabuchodonosor sent, and brought him to Babylon, carrying away at the same time the most precious vessels of the house of the Lord: and he made Sedecias his uncle king over Juda and Jerusalem.
11西底家 登基的时候年二十一岁，在 耶路撒冷 作王十一年，
11Sedecias was one and twenty years old when he began to reign: and he reigned eleven years in Jerusalem.
12行耶和华—他 神眼中看为恶的事。先知 耶利米 以耶和华的话劝他，他仍不在 耶利米 面前自卑。
12And he did evil in the eyes of the Lord his God, and did not reverence the face of Jeremias the prophet speaking to him from the mouth of the Lord.
13尼布甲尼撒 曾使他指着 神起誓，他却背叛，强项硬心，不归服耶和华— 以色列 的 神。
13He also revolted from king Nabuchodonosor, who had made him swear by God: and he hardened his neck and his heart, from returning to the Lord the God of Israel.
14众祭司长和百姓也大大犯罪，效法外邦人一切可憎的事，污秽耶和华在 耶路撒冷 分别为圣的殿。
14Moreover all the chief of the priests, and the people wickedly transgressed according to all the abominations of the Gentiles: and they defiled the house of the Lord, which he had sanctified to himself in Jerusalem.
15耶和华—他们列祖的 神因为爱惜自己的民和他的居所，从早起来差遣使者去警戒他们。
15And the Lord the God of their fathers sent to them, by the hand of his messengers, rising early, and daily admonishing them: because he spared his people and his dwelling place.
16他们却嘻笑 神的使者，藐视他的言语，讥诮他的先知，以致耶和华的忿怒向他的百姓发作，无法可救。
16But they mocked the messengers of God, and despised his words, and misused the prophets, until the wrath of the Lord arose against his people, and there was no remedy.
17所以，耶和华使 迦勒底 人的王来攻击他们，在他们圣殿里用刀杀了他们的壮丁，不怜恤他们的少男处女、老人白叟。耶和华将他们都交在 迦勒底 王手里。
17For he brought upon them the king of the Chaldeans, and he slew their young men with the sword in the house of his sanctuary, he had no compassion on young man, or maiden, old man or even him that stooped for age, but he delivered them all into his hands.
18迦勒底 王将 神殿里的大小器皿与耶和华殿里的财宝，并王和众首领的财宝，都带到 巴比伦 去了。
18And all the vessels of the house of the Lord, great and small, and the treasures of the temple and of the king, and of the princes he carried away to Babylon.
19迦勒底 人焚烧 神的殿，拆毁 耶路撒冷 的城墙，用火烧了城里的宫殿，毁坏了城里宝贵的器皿。
19And the enemies set fire to the house of God, and broke down the wall of Jerusalem, burnt all the towers, and whatsoever was precious they destroyed.
20凡脱离刀剑的， 迦勒底 王都掳到 巴比伦 去，作他和他子孙的仆婢，直到 波斯 国兴起来。
20Whosoever escaped the sword, was led into Babylon, and there served the king and his sons till the reign of the king of Persia.
21这就应验耶和华借 耶利米 口所说的话：地享受安息；因为地土荒凉便守安息，直满了七十年。
21That the word of the Lord by the mouth of Jeremias might be fulfilled, and the land might keep her sabbaths: for all the days of the desolation she kept a sabbath, till the seventy years were expired.
22波斯 王 塞鲁士 元年，耶和华为要应验借 耶利米 口所说的话，就激动 波斯 王 塞鲁士 的心，使他下诏通告全国，说：
22But in the first year of Cyrus king of the Persians, to fulfill the word of the Lord, which he had spoken by the mouth of Jeremias, the Lord stirred up the heart of Cyrus king of the Persians who commanded it to be proclaimed through all his kingdom, and by writing also, saying:
23「 波斯 王 塞鲁士 如此说：耶和华—天上的 神已将天下万国赐给我，又嘱咐我在 犹大 的 耶路撒冷 为他建造殿宇。你们中间凡作他子民的，可以上去，愿耶和华—他的 神与他同在。」
23Thus saith Cyrus king of the Persians: All the kingdoms of the earth hath the Lord the God of heaven given to me, and he hath charged me to build him a house in Jerusalem, which is in Judea: who is there among you of all his people? The Lord his God be with him, and let him go up.
