1To You, O LORD, I lift up my soul;
1BOEIPA nang taengla ka hinglu kan nawn.
2in You, my God, I trust. Do not let me be put to shame; do not let my enemies exult over me.
2Ka Pathen nang dongah ka pangtung nah. Yah m'poh sak boeh. Ka thunkha loh kai soah sundaep boel saeh.
3Surely none who wait for You will be put to shame; but those who are faithless without cause will be disgraced.
3Nang aka lamtawn boeih tah yahpok uh pawt vetih, lunglilungla la aka hnukpoh rhoek tah yak uh ni.
4Show me Your ways, O LORD; teach me Your paths.
4BOEIPA na longpuei te kai n'tueng lamtah na caehlong te kai n'cang puei lah.
5Guide me in Your truth and teach me, for You are the God of my salvation; all day long I wait for You.

6Remember, O LORD, Your compassion and loving devotion, for they are from age to age.

7Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my rebellious acts; remember me according to Your loving devotion, because of Your goodness, O LORD.

8Good and upright is the LORD; therefore He shows sinners the way.
8BOEIPA tah then tih thuem. Te dongah hlangtholh rhoek te longpuei ah a thuinuet.
9He guides the humble in what is right and teaches them His way.
9Kodo rhoek te tiktamnah neh a hoihaeng tih kodo rhoek te a longpuei neh a cang puei.
10All the LORD’s ways are loving and faithful to those who keep His covenant and His decrees.
10BOEIPA kah caehlong boeih tah, a paipi neh a olphong aka kueinah rhoek ham sitlohnah neh uepomnah la om.
11For the sake of Your name, O LORD, forgive my iniquity, for it is great.
11Aw BOEIPA na ming khoem lamtah kai kathaesainah len mai cakhaw khodawk han ngai mai.
12Who is the man who fears the LORD? He will instruct him in the path chosen for him.
12BOEIPA aka rhih hlang he unim? Anih ni longpueiah a coelh vetih a thuinuet eh.
13His soul will dwell in prosperity, and his descendants will inherit the land.
13Hno then dongah a hinglu loh rhaeh rhong vetih a tiingan loh khohmuen a pang uh ni.
14The LORD confides in those who fear Him, and reveals His covenant to them.

15My eyes are always on the LORD, for He will free my feet from the mesh.
15Ka mik loh BOEIPA dongah a hmaitang taitu dongah ka kho he lawk dong lamloh a doek.
16Turn to me and be gracious, for I am lonely and afflicted.
16Kai oingaih cangloeng neh mangdaeng ham ka taengla ha mael lamtah kai n'rhen dae.
17The troubles of my heart increase; free me from my distress.
17Ka thinko citcai loh pungtai tih khobing khui lamkah kai n'lo lah.
18Consider my affliction and trouble, and take away all my sins.
18Kai kah phacip phabaem neh ka thakthaenah he hmu lamtah ka tholh boeih te khuen lah.
19Consider my enemies, for they are many, and they hate me with vicious hatred.
19Ka thunkha rhoek loh metlam a pungtai uh tih kuthlahnah loh hmuhuetnah neh kai m'hmuet uh he ham hmu lah.
20Guard my soul and deliver me; let me not be put to shame, for I take refuge in You.
20Ka hinglu he dawndah lamtah kai n'huul dae. Nang dongah ka ying dongah yah m'poh sak boeh.
21May integrity and uprightness preserve me, because I wait for You.
21Nang kan lamtawn dongah thincaknah, duengnah loh kai n'kueinah uh saeh.
22Redeem Israel, O God, from all its distress.
22Aw Pathen, Israel te citcai boeih lamkah lat lah.
