1But understand this: In the last days terrible times will come.
1你該知道，末世必有危險的日子來到。
2For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy,
2因為那時，人要專顧自己，貪愛錢財，自誇，狂傲，謗讟，違背父母，忘恩負義，心不聖潔，
3unloving, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, without love of good,
3無親情，不解怨，好說讒言，不能自約，性情凶暴，不愛良善，
4traitorous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,
4賣主賣友，任意妄為，自高自大，愛宴樂，不愛上帝，
5having a form of godliness but denying its power. Turn away from such as these!
5有敬虔的外貌，卻背了敬虔的實意；這等人你要躲開。
6They are the kind who worm their way into households and captivate vulnerable women who are weighed down with sins and led astray by various passions,
6那偷進人家、牢籠無知婦女的，正是這等人。這些婦女擔負罪惡，被各樣的私慾引誘，
7who are always learning but never able to come to a knowledge of the truth.
7常常學習，終久不能明白真道。
8Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so also these men oppose the truth. They are depraved in mind and disqualified from the faith.
8從前 雅尼 和 佯庇 怎樣敵擋 摩西 ，這等人也怎樣敵擋真道。他們的心地壞了，在真道上是可廢棄的。
9But they will not advance much further. For just like Jannes and Jambres, their folly will be plain to everyone.
9然而他們不能再這樣敵擋；因為他們的愚昧必在眾人面前顯露出來，像那二人一樣。
10You, however, have observed my teaching, my conduct, my purpose, my faith, my patience, my love, my perseverance,
10但你已經服從了我的教訓、品行、志向、信心、寬容、愛心、忍耐，
11my persecutions, and the sufferings that came upon me in Antioch, Iconium, and Lystra. What persecutions I endured! Yet the Lord rescued me from all of them.
11以及我在 安提阿 、 以哥念 、 路司得 所遭遇的逼迫、苦難。我所忍受是何等的逼迫；但從這一切苦難中，主都把我救出來了。
12Indeed, all who desire to live godly lives in Christ Jesus will be persecuted,
12不但如此，凡立志在基督耶穌裏敬虔度日的也都要受逼迫。
13while evil men and imposters go from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived.
13只是作惡的和迷惑人的，必越久越惡，他欺哄人，也被人欺哄。
14But as for you, continue in the things you have learned and firmly believed, since you know from whom you have learned them.
14但你所學習的，所確信的，要存在心裏；因為你知道是跟誰學的，
15From infancy you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.
15並且知道你是從小明白聖經，這聖經能使你因信基督耶穌，有得救的智慧。
16All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for instruction, for conviction, for correction, and for training in righteousness,
16聖經都是上帝所默示的，於教訓、督責、使人歸正、教導人學義都是有益的，
17so that the man of God may be complete, fully equipped for every good work.
17叫屬上帝的人得以完全，預備行各樣的善事。
