1هَلِّلُويَا. سَبِّحِي يَا نَفْسِي ٱلرَّبَّ.
1Praise the LORD! Praise the LORD, my soul.
2أُسَبِّحُ ٱلرَّبَّ فِي حَيَاتِي، وَأُرَنِّمُ لِإِلَهِي مَا دُمْتُ مَوْجُودًا.
2While I live, I will praise the LORD. I will sing praises to my God as long as I exist.
3لَا تَتَّكِلُوا عَلَى ٱلرُّؤَسَاءِ، وَلَا عَلَى ٱبْنِ آدَمَ حَيْثُ لَا خَلَاصَ عِنْدَهُ.
3Don’t put your trust in princes, in a son of man in whom there is no help.
4تَخْرُجُ رُوحُهُ فَيَعُودُ إِلَى تُرَابِهِ. فِي ذَلِكَ ٱلْيَوْمِ نَفْسِهِ تَهْلِكُ أَفْكَارُهُ.
4His spirit departs, and he returns to the earth. In that very day, his thoughts perish.
5طُوبَى لِمَنْ إِلَهُ يَعْقُوبَ مُعِينُهُ، وَرَجَاؤُهُ عَلَى ٱلرَّبِّ إِلَهِهِ،
5Happy is he who has the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the LORD, his God,
6ٱلصَّانِعِ ٱلسَّمَاوَاتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ، ٱلْبَحْرَ وَكُلَّ مَا فِيهَا. ٱلْحَافِظِ ٱلْأَمَانَةَ إِلَى ٱلْأَبَدِ.
6who made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them; who keeps truth forever;
7ٱلْمُجْرِي حُكْمًا لِلْمَظْلُومِينَ، ٱلْمُعْطِي خُبْزًا لِلْجِيَاعِ. ٱلرَّبُّ يُطْلِقُ ٱلْأَسْرَى.
7who executes justice for the oppressed; who gives food to the hungry. The LORD frees the prisoners.
8ٱلرَّبُّ يَفْتَحُ أَعْيُنَ ٱلْعُمْيِ. ٱلرَّبُّ يُقَوِّمُ ٱلْمُنْحَنِينَ. ٱلرَّبُّ يُحِبُّ ٱلصِّدِّيقِينَ.
8The LORD opens the eyes of the blind. The LORD raises up those who are bowed down. The LORD loves the righteous.
9ٱلرَّبُّ يَحْفَظُ ٱلْغُرَبَاءَ. يَعْضُدُ ٱلْيَتِيمَ وَٱلْأَرْمَلَةَ، أَمَّا طَرِيقُ ٱلْأَشْرَارِ فَيُعَوِّجُهُ.
9The LORD preserves the foreigners. He upholds the fatherless and widow, but he turns the way of the wicked upside down.
10يَمْلِكُ ٱلرَّبُّ إِلَى ٱلْأَبَدِ، إِلَهُكِ يَا صِهْيَوْنُ إِلَى دَوْرٍ فَدَوْرٍ. هَلِّلُويَا.
10The LORD will reign forever; your God, O Zion, to all generations. Praise the LORD!
