1وَكَلَّمَ ٱلرَّبُّ مُوسَى قَائِلًا:
1And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying:
2«أَوْصِ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ وَقُلْ لَهُمْ: إِنَّكُمْ دَاخِلُونَ إِلَى أَرْضِ كَنْعَانَ. هَذِهِ هِيَ ٱلْأَرْضُ ٱلَّتِي تَقَعُ لَكُمْ نَصِيبًا. أَرْضُ كَنْعَانَ بِتُخُومِهَا:
2'Command the children of Israel, and say unto them: When ye come into the land of Canaan, this shall be the land that shall fall unto you for an inheritance, even the land of Canaan according to the borders thereof.
3تَكُونُ لَكُمْ نَاحِيَةُ ٱلْجَنُوبِ مِنْ بَرِّيَّةِ صِينَ عَلَى جَانِبِ أَدُومَ، وَيَكُونُ لَكُمْ تُخْمُ ٱلْجَنُوبِ مِنْ طَرَفِ بَحْرِ ٱلْمِلْحِ إِلَى ٱلشَّرْقِ،
3Thus your south side shall be from the wilderness of Zin close by the side of Edom, and your south border shall begin at the end of the Salt Sea eastward;
4وَيَدُورُ لَكُمُ ٱلتَّخْمُ مِنْ جَنُوبِ عَقَبَةِ عَقْرِبِّيمَ، وَيَعْبُرُ إِلَى صِينَ، وَتَكُونُ مَخَارِجُهُ مِنْ جَنُوبِ قَادَشَ بَرْنِيعَ، وَيَخْرُجُ إِلَى حَصَرِ أَدَّارَ، وَيَعْبُرُ إِلَى عَصْمُونَ.
4and your border shall turn about southward of the ascent of Akrabbim, and pass along to Zin; and the goings out thereof shall be southward of Kadesh-barnea; and it shall go forth to Hazar-addar, and pass along to Azmon;
5ثُمَّ يَدُورُ ٱلتَّخْمُ مِنْ عَصْمُونَ إِلَى وَادِي مِصْرَ، وَتَكُونُ مَخَارِجُهُ عِنْدَ ٱلْبَحْرِ.
5and the border shall turn about from Azmon unto the Brook of Egypt, and the goings out thereof shall be at the Sea.
6وَأَمَّا تُخْمُ ٱلْغَرْبِ فَيَكُونُ ٱلْبَحْرُ ٱلْكَبِيرُ لَكُمْ تُخْمًا. هَذَا يَكُونُ لَكُمْ تُخْمُ ٱلْغَرْبِ.
6And for the western border, ye shall have the Great Sea for a border; this shall be your west border.
7وَهَذَا يَكُونُ لَكُمْ تُخْمُ ٱلشِّمَالِ. مِنَ ٱلْبَحْرِ ٱلْكَبِيرِ تَرْسُمُونَ لَكُمْ إِلَى جَبَلِ هُورَ.
7And this shall be your north border: from the Great Sea ye shall mark out your line unto mount Hor;
8وَمِنْ جَبَلِ هُورَ تَرْسُمُونَ إِلَى مَدْخَلِ حَمَاةَ، وَتَكُونُ مَخَارِجُ ٱلتَّخْمِ إِلَى صَدَدَ.
8from mount Hor ye shall mark out a line unto the entrance to Hamath; and the goings out of the border shall be at Zedad;
9ثُمَّ يَخْرُجُ ٱلتَّخْمُ إِلَى زِفْرُونَ، وَتَكُونُ مَخَارِجُهُ عِنْدَ حَصَرِ عِينَانَ. هَذَا يَكُونُ لَكُمْ تُخْمُ ٱلشِّمَالِ.
9and the border shall go forth to Ziphron, and the goings out thereof shall be at Hazar-enan; this shall be your north border.
10وَتَرْسُمُونَ لَكُمْ تَخْمًا إِلَى ٱلشَّرْقِ مِنْ حَصَرِ عِينَانَ إِلَى شَفَامَ.
10And ye shall mark out your line for the east border from Hazar-enan to Shepham;
11وَيَنْحَدِرُ ٱلتَّخْمُ مِنْ شَفَامَ إِلَى رَبْلَةَ شَرْقِيَّ عَيْنٍ. ثُمَّ يَنْحَدِرُ ٱلتَّخْمُ وَيَمَسُّ جَانِبَ بَحْرِ كِنَّارَةَ إِلَى ٱلشَّرْقِ.
11and the border shall go down from Shepham to Riblah, on the east side of Ain; and the border shall go down, and shall strike upon the slope of the sea of Chinnereth eastward;
12ثُمَّ يَنْحَدِرُ ٱلتَّخْمُ إِلَى ٱلْأُرْدُنِّ، وَتَكُونُ مَخَارِجُهُ عِنْدَ بَحْرِ ٱلْمِلْحِ. هَذِهِ تَكُونُ لَكُمُ ٱلْأَرْضُ بِتُخُومِهَا حَوَالَيْهَا».
12and the border shall go down to the Jordan, and the goings out thereof shall be at the Salt Sea; this shall be your land according to the borders thereof round about.'
13فَأَمَرَ مُوسَى بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ قَائِلًا: «هَذِهِ هِيَ ٱلْأَرْضُ ٱلَّتِي تَقْتَسِمُونَهَا بِٱلْقُرْعَةِ، ٱلَّتِي أَمَرَ ٱلرَّبُّ أَنْ تُعْطَى لِلتِّسْعَةِ ٱلْأَسْبَاطِ وَنِصْفِ ٱلسِّبْطِ.
13And Moses commanded the children of Israel, saying: 'This is the land wherein ye shall receive inheritance by lot, which the LORD hath commanded to give unto the nine tribes, and to the half-tribe;
14لِأَنَّهُ قَدْ أَخَذَ سِبْطُ بَنِي رَأُوبَيْنَ حَسَبَ بُيُوتِ آبَائِهِمْ، وَسِبْطُ بَنِي جَادَ حَسَبَ بُيُوتِ آبَائِهِمْ، وَنِصْفُ سِبْطِ مَنَسَّى. قَدْ أَخَذُوا نَصِيبَهُمْ.
14for the tribe of the children of Reuben according to their fathers' houses, and the tribe of the children of Gad according to their fathers' houses, have received, and the half-tribe of Manasseh have received, their inheritance;
15اَلسِّبْطَانِ وَنِصْفُ ٱلسِّبْطِ قَدْ أَخَذُوا نَصِيبَهُمْ فِي عَبْرِ أُرْدُنِّ أَرِيحَا شَرْقًا، نَحْوَ ٱلشُّرُوقِ».
15the two tribes and the half-tribe have received their inheritance beyond the Jordan at Jericho eastward, toward the sun-rising.'
16وَكَلَّمَ ٱلرَّبُّ مُوسَى قَائِلًا:
16And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying:
17«هَذَانِ ٱسْمَا ٱلرَّجُلَيْنِ ٱللَّذَيْنِ يَقْسِمَانِ لَكُمُ ٱلْأَرْضَ: أَلِعَازَارُ ٱلْكَاهِنُ وَيَشُوعُ بْنُ نُونَ.
17'These are the names of the men that shall take possession of the land for you: Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun.
18وَرَئِيسًا وَاحِدًا مِنْ كُلِّ سِبْطٍ تَأْخُذُونَ لِقِسْمَةِ ٱلْأَرْضِ.
18And ye shall take one prince of every tribe, to take possession of the land.
19وَهَذِهِ أَسْمَاءُ ٱلرِّجَالِ: مِنْ سِبْطِ يَهُوذَا كَالِبُ بْنُ يَفُنَّةَ.
19And these are the names of the men: of the tribe of Judah, Caleb the son of Jephunneh.
20وَمِنْ سِبْطِ بَنِي شِمْعُونَ شَمُوئِيلُ بْنُ عَمِّيهُودَ.
20And of the tribe of the children of Simeon, Shemuel the son of Ammihud.
21وَمِنْ سِبْطِ بَنْيَامِينَ أَلِيدَادُ بْنُ كَسْلُونَ.
21Of the tribe of Benjamin, Elidad the son of Chislon.
22وَمِنْ سِبْطِ بَنِي دَانَ ٱلرَّئِيسُ بُقِّي بْنُ يُجْلِي.
22And of the tribe of the children of Dan a prince, Bukki the son of Jogli.
23وَمِنْ بَنِي يُوسُفَ: مِنْ سِبْطِ بَنِي مَنَسَّى ٱلرَّئِيسُ حَنِّيئِيلُ بْنُ إِيفُودَ.
23Of the children of Joseph: of the tribe of the children of Manasseh a prince, Hanniel the son of Ephod;
24وَمِنْ سِبْطِ بَنِي أَفْرَايِمَ ٱلرَّئِيسُ قَمُوئِيلُ بْنُ شِفْطَانَ.
24and of the tribe of the children of Ephraim a prince, Kemuel the son of Shiphtan.
25وَمِنْ سِبْطِ بَنِي زَبُولُونَ ٱلرَّئِيسُ أَلِيصَافَانُ بْنُ فَرْنَاخَ.
25And of the tribe of the children of Zebulun a prince, Eli-zaphan the son of Parnach.
26وَمِنْ سِبْطِ بَنِي يَسَّاكَرَ ٱلرَّئِيسُ فَلْطِيئِيلُ بْنُ عَزَّانَ.
26And of the tribe of the children of Issachar a prince, Paltiel the son of Azzan.
27وَمِنْ سِبْطِ بَنِي أَشِيرَ ٱلرَّئِيسُ أَخِيهُودُ بْنُ شَلُومِي.
27And of the tribe of the children of Asher a prince, Ahihud the son of Shelomi.
28وَمِنْ سِبْطِ بَنِي نَفْتَالِي ٱلرَّئِيسُ فَدَهْئِيلُ بْنُ عَمِّيهُودَ».
28And of the tribe of the children of Naphtali a prince, Pedahel the son of Ammihud.
29هَؤُلَاءِ هُمُ ٱلَّذِينَ أَمَرَهُمُ ٱلرَّبُّ أَنْ يَقْسِمُوا لِبَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ فِي أَرْضِ كَنْعَانَ.
29These are they whom the LORD commanded to divide the inheritance unto the children of Israel in the land of Canaan.'
