1I lift up my eyes to you, you who sit in the heavens.
1Tôi ngước mắt lên hướng cùng Ngài. Hỡi Đấng ngự trên các từng trời,
2Behold, as the eyes of servants look to the hand of their master, as the eyes of a maid to the hand of her mistress, so our eyes look to the LORD, our God, until he has mercy on us.
2Mắt kẻ tôi tớ trông nơi tay ông chủ mình, Mắt con đòi trông nơi tay bà chủ mình thể nào, Thì mắt chúng tôi ngưỡng vọng Giê-hô-va Đức Chúa Trời chúng tôi thể ấy, Cho đến chừng nào Ngài thương xót chúng tôi.
3Have mercy on us, LORD, have mercy on us, for we have endured much contempt.
3Đức Giê-hô-va ôi! Xin thương xót chúng tôi, xin thương xót chúng tôi; Vì chúng tôi quá chán sự khinh dể.
4Our soul is exceedingly filled with the scoffing of those who are at ease, with the contempt of the proud.
4Linh hồn chúng tôi quá chán Sự nhạo báng của kẻ an dật, và sự khinh dể của kẻ kiêu ngạo.
