1The LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
1耶和華曉諭 摩西 說：
2“Speak to Aaron, and tell him, ‘When you light the lamps, the seven lamps shall give light in front of the lamp stand.’”
2「你告訴 亞倫 說：點燈的時候，七盞燈都要向燈臺前面發光。」
3Aaron did so. He lit its lamps to light the area in front of the lamp stand, as the LORD commanded Moses.
3亞倫 便這樣行。他點燈臺上的燈， 使燈 向前 發光 ，是照耶和華所吩咐 摩西 的。
4This was the workmanship of the lamp stand, beaten work of gold. From its base to its flowers, it was beaten work. He made the lamp stand according to the pattern which the LORD had shown Moses.
4這燈臺的做法是用金子錘出來的，連座帶花都是錘出來的。 摩西 製造燈臺，是照耶和華所指示的樣式。
5The LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
5耶和華曉諭 摩西 說：
6“Take the Levites from among the children of Israel, and cleanse them.
6「你從 以色列 人中選出 利未 人來，潔淨他們。
7You shall do this to them to cleanse them: sprinkle the water of cleansing on them, let them shave their whole bodies with a razor, let them wash their clothes, and cleanse themselves.
7潔淨他們當這樣行：用除罪水彈在他們身上，又叫他們用剃頭刀刮全身，洗衣服，潔淨自己。
8Then let them take a young bull and its meal offering, fine flour mixed with oil; and another young bull you shall take for a sin offering.
8然後叫他們取一隻公牛犢，並同獻的素祭，就是調油的細麵；你要另取一隻公牛犢作贖罪祭。
9You shall present the Levites before the Tent of Meeting. You shall assemble the whole congregation of the children of Israel.
9將 利未 人奉到會幕前，招聚 以色列 全會眾。
10You shall present the Levites before the LORD. The children of Israel shall lay their hands on the Levites,
10將 利未 人奉到耶和華面前， 以色列 人要按手在他們 頭 上。
11and Aaron shall offer the Levites before the LORD for a wave offering on the behalf of the children of Israel, that it may be theirs to do the service of the LORD.
11亞倫 也將他們奉到耶和華面前，為 以色列 人當作搖祭，使他們好辦耶和華的事。
12“The Levites shall lay their hands on the heads of the bulls, and you shall offer the one for a sin offering and the other for a burnt offering to the LORD, to make atonement for the Levites.
12利未 人要按手在那兩隻牛的頭上；你要將一隻作贖罪祭，一隻作燔祭，獻給耶和華，為 利未 人贖罪。
13You shall set the Levites before Aaron and before his sons, and offer them as a wave offering to the LORD.
13你也要使 利未 人站在 亞倫 和他兒子面前，將他們當作搖祭奉給耶和華。
14Thus you shall separate the Levites from among the children of Israel, and the Levites shall be mine.
14「這樣，你從 以色列 人中將 利未 人分別出來， 利未 人便要歸我。
15“After that, the Levites shall go in to do the service of the Tent of Meeting. You shall cleanse them, and offer them as a wave offering.
15此後 利未 人要進去辦會幕的事，你要潔淨他們，將他們當作搖祭奉上；
16For they are wholly given to me from among the children of Israel; instead of all who open the womb, even the firstborn of all the children of Israel, I have taken them to me.
16因為他們是從 以色列 人中全然給我的，我揀選他們歸我，是代替 以色列 人中一切頭生的。
17For all the firstborn among the children of Israel are mine, both man and animal. On the day that I struck all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, I sanctified them for myself.
17以色列 人中一切頭生的，連人帶牲畜，都是我的。我在 埃及 地擊殺一切頭生的那天，將他們分別為聖歸我。
18I have taken the Levites instead of all the firstborn among the children of Israel.
18我揀選 利未 人代替 以色列 人中一切頭生的。
19I have given the Levites as a gift to Aaron and to his sons from among the children of Israel, to do the service of the children of Israel in the Tent of Meeting, and to make atonement for the children of Israel, so that there will be no plague among the children of Israel when the children of Israel come near to the sanctuary.”
19我從 以色列 人中將 利未 人當作賞賜給 亞倫 和他的兒子，在會幕中辦 以色列 人的事，又為 以色列 人贖罪，免得他們挨近聖所，有災殃臨到他們中間。」
20Moses, and Aaron, and all the congregation of the children of Israel did so to the Levites. According to all that the LORD commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so the children of Israel did to them.
20摩西 、 亞倫 ，並 以色列 全會眾便向 利未 人如此行。凡耶和華指着 利未 人所吩咐 摩西 的， 以色列 人就向他們這樣行。
21The Levites purified themselves from sin, and they washed their clothes; and Aaron offered them for a wave offering before the LORD and Aaron made atonement for them to cleanse them.
21於是 利未 人潔淨自己，除了罪，洗了衣服； 亞倫 將他們當作搖祭奉到耶和華面前，又為他們贖罪，潔淨他們。
22After that, the Levites went in to do their service in the Tent of Meeting before Aaron and before his sons: as the LORD had commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so they did to them.
22然後 利未 人進去，在 亞倫 和他兒子面前，在會幕中辦事。耶和華指着 利未 人怎樣吩咐 摩西 ， 以色列 人就怎樣向他們行了。
23The LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
23耶和華曉諭 摩西 說：
24“This is what is assigned to the Levites: from twenty-five years old and upward they shall go in to wait on the service in the work of the Tent of Meeting;
24「 利未 人是這樣：從二十五歲以外，他們要前來任職，辦會幕的事。
25and from the age of fifty years they shall retire from doing the work, and shall serve no more,
25到了五十歲要停工退任，不再辦事，
26but shall assist their brothers in the Tent of Meeting, to perform the duty, and shall perform no service. This is how you shall have the Levites do their duties.”
26只要在會幕裏，和他們的弟兄一同伺候，謹守所吩咐的，不再辦事了。至於所吩咐 利未 人的，你要這樣向他們行。」
