1Estes são os filhos de Israel: Rúben, Simeão, Levi, Judá, Issacar, Zebulom,
1These are the sons of Israel; Reuben, Simeon, Levi, and Judah, Issachar, and Zebulun,
2Dã, José, Benjamim, Naftali, Gade e Aser.
2Dan, Joseph, and Benjamin, Naphtali, Gad, and Asher.
3Os filhos de Judá: Er, Onã e Selá; estes três lhe nasceram da filha de Sua, a cananeia. Er, o primogênito de Judá, era mau aos olhos do SENHOR; e ele o matou.
3¶ The sons of Judah; Er, and Onan, and Shelah: which three were born unto him of the daughter of Shua the Canaanitess. And Er, the firstborn of Judah, was evil in the sight of the LORD ; and he slew him.
4Tamar, sua nora, lhe deu à luz Perez e Zerá. Ao todo, os filhos de Judá foram cinco.
4And Tamar his daughter in law bare him Pharez and Zerah. All the sons of Judah were five.
5Os filhos de Perez: Hezrom e Hamul.
5The sons of Pharez; Hezron, and Hamul.
6Os filhos de Zerá: Zinri, Etã, Hemã, Calcol e Dara — cinco ao todo.
6And the sons of Zerah; Zimri, and Ethan, and Heman, and Calcol, and Dara: five of them in all.
7O filho de Carmi: Acar, o perturbador de Israel, que cometeu uma transgressão quanto às coisas consagradas.
7And the sons of Carmi; Achar, the troubler of Israel, who transgressed in the thing accursed.
8O filho de Etã: Azarias.
8And the sons of Ethan; Azariah.
9Os filhos de Hezrom, que lhe nasceram: Jerameel, Rão e Quelubai.
9The sons also of Hezron, that were born unto him; Jerahmeel, and Ram, and Chelubai.
10Rão gerou Aminadabe, e Aminadabe gerou Naassom, príncipe dos filhos de Judá;
10And Ram begat Amminadab; and Amminadab begat Nahshon, prince of the children of Judah;
11e Naassom gerou Salma, e Salma gerou Boaz,
11And Nahshon begat Salma, and Salma begat Boaz,
12e Boaz gerou Obede, e Obede gerou Jessé;
12And Boaz begat Obed, and Obed begat Jesse,
13e Jessé gerou Eliabe, seu primogênito, Abinadabe, o segundo, Simeia, o terceiro,
13¶ And Jesse begat his firstborn Eliab, and Abinadab the second, and Shimma the third,
14Natanael, o quarto, Radai, o quinto,
14Nethaneel the fourth, Raddai the fifth,
15Ozém, o sexto, e Davi, o sétimo;
15Ozem the sixth, David the seventh:
16e as irmãs deles foram Zeruia e Abigail. Os filhos de Zeruia: Abisai, Joabe e Asael, três.
16Whose sisters were Zeruiah, and Abigail. And the sons of Zeruiah; Abishai, and Joab, and Asahel, three.
17Abigail deu à luz Amasa; e o pai de Amasa foi Jeter, o ismaelita.
17And Abigail bare Amasa: and the father of Amasa was Jether the Ishmeelite.
18Calebe, filho de Hezrom, gerou filhos de Azuba, sua mulher, e de Jeriote; e estes foram os filhos dela: Jeser, Sobabe e Ardom.
18¶ And Caleb the son of Hezron begat children of Azubah his wife, and of Jerioth: her sons are these; Jesher, and Shobab, and Ardon.
19Azuba morreu, e Calebe casou-se com Efrate, que lhe deu à luz Hur.
19And when Azubah was dead, Caleb took unto him Ephrath, which bare him Hur.
20Hur gerou Uri, e Uri gerou Bezalel.
20And Hur begat Uri, and Uri begat Bezaleel.
21Depois Hezrom coabitou com a filha de Maquir, pai de Gileade, a qual ele tomou por mulher quando tinha sessenta anos de idade; e ela lhe deu à luz Segube.
21¶ And afterward Hezron went in to the daughter of Machir the father of Gilead, whom he married when he was threescore years old; and she bare him Segub.
22Segube gerou Jair, que teve vinte e três cidades na terra de Gileade.
22And Segub begat Jair, who had three and twenty cities in the land of Gilead.
23Gesur e Arã tomaram deles as cidades de Jair, com Quenate e seus povoados, sessenta cidades ao todo. Todos estes foram os filhos de Maquir, pai de Gileade.
23And he took Geshur, and Aram, with the towns of Jair, from them, with Kenath, and the towns thereof, even threescore cities. All these belonged to the sons of Machir the father of Gilead.
24Depois que Hezrom morreu em Calebe-Efrata, Abias, mulher de Hezrom, lhe deu à luz Asur, pai de Tecoa.
24And after that Hezron was dead in Caleb-ephratah, then Abiah Hezron’s wife bare him Ashur the father of Tekoa.
25Os filhos de Jerameel, o primogênito de Hezrom, foram Rão, o primogênito, Buna, Orém, Ozém e Aías.
25¶ And the sons of Jerahmeel the firstborn of Hezron were, Ram the firstborn, and Bunah, and Oren, and Ozem, and Ahijah.
26Jerameel teve outra mulher, cujo nome era Atara. Ela foi a mãe de Onã.
26Jerahmeel had also another wife, whose name was Atarah; she was the mother of Onam.
27Os filhos de Rão, o primogênito de Jerameel, foram Maaz, Jamim e Équer.
27And the sons of Ram the firstborn of Jerahmeel were, Maaz, and Jamin, and Eker.
28Os filhos de Onã foram Samai e Jada. Os filhos de Samai: Nadabe e Abisur.
28And the sons of Onam were, Shammai, and Jada. And the sons of Shammai; Nadab, and Abishur.
29O nome da mulher de Abisur era Abiail; e ela lhe deu à luz Abã e Molide.
29And the name of the wife of Abishur was Abihail, and she bare him Ahban, and Molid.
30Os filhos de Nadabe: Selede e Apaim; mas Selede morreu sem filhos.
30And the sons of Nadab; Seled, and Appaim: but Seled died without children.
31O filho de Apaim: Isi. O filho de Isi: Sesã. O filho de Sesã: Alai.
31And the sons of Appaim; Ishi. And the sons of Ishi; Sheshan. And the children of Sheshan; Ahlai.
32Os filhos de Jada, irmão de Samai: Jeter e Jônatas; e Jeter morreu sem filhos.
32And the sons of Jada the brother of Shammai; Jether, and Jonathan: and Jether died without children.
33Os filhos de Jônatas: Pelete e Zaza. Estes foram os filhos de Jerameel.
33And the sons of Jonathan; Peleth, and Zaza. These were the sons of Jerahmeel.
34Ora, Sesã não teve filhos, mas apenas filhas. Sesã tinha um servo, um egípcio, cujo nome era Jara.
34¶ Now Sheshan had no sons, but daughters. And Sheshan had a servant, an Egyptian, whose name was Jarha.
35Sesã deu sua filha por mulher a Jara, seu servo; e ela lhe deu à luz Atai.
35And Sheshan gave his daughter to Jarha his servant to wife; and she bare him Attai.
36Atai gerou Natã, e Natã gerou Zabade,
36And Attai begat Nathan, and Nathan begat Zabad,
37e Zabade gerou Eflal, e Eflal gerou Obede,
37And Zabad begat Ephlal, and Ephlal begat Obed,
38e Obede gerou Jeú, e Jeú gerou Azarias,
38And Obed begat Jehu, and Jehu begat Azariah,
39e Azarias gerou Helez, e Helez gerou Eleasá,
39And Azariah begat Helez, and Helez begat Eleasah,
40e Eleasá gerou Sismai, e Sismai gerou Salum,
40And Eleasah begat Sisamai, and Sisamai begat Shallum,
41e Salum gerou Jecamias, e Jecamias gerou Elisama.
41And Shallum begat Jekamiah, and Jekamiah begat Elishama.
42Os filhos de Calebe, irmão de Jerameel, foram Mesa, seu primogênito, que foi o pai de Zife, e os filhos de Maressa, pai de Hebrom.
42¶ Now the sons of Caleb the brother of Jerahmeel were , Mesha his firstborn, which was the father of Ziph; and the sons of Mareshah the father of Hebron.
43Os filhos de Hebrom: Corá, Tapua, Requém e Sema.
43And the sons of Hebron; Korah, and Tappuah, and Rekem, and Shema.
44Sema gerou Raão, pai de Jorqueão; e Requém gerou Samai.
44And Shema begat Raham, the father of Jorkoam: and Rekem begat Shammai.
45O filho de Samai foi Maom; e Maom foi o pai de Bete-Zur.
45And the son of Shammai was Maon: and Maon was the father of Beth-zur.
46Efa, concubina de Calebe, deu à luz Harã, Moza e Gazez; e Harã gerou Gazez.
46And Ephah, Caleb’s concubine, bare Haran, and Moza, and Gazez: and Haran begat Gazez.
47Os filhos de Jadai: Regém, Jotão, Gesã, Pelete, Efa e Saafe.
47And the sons of Jahdai; Regem, and Jotham, and Geshan, and Pelet, and Ephah, and Shaaph.
48Maaca, concubina de Calebe, deu à luz Seber e Tiraná.
48Maachah, Caleb’s concubine, bare Sheber, and Tirhanah.
49Ela também deu à luz Saafe, pai de Madmana, e Seva, pai de Macbena e pai de Gibeá; e a filha de Calebe foi Acsa.
49She bare also Shaaph the father of Madmannah, Sheva the father of Machbenah, and the father of Gibea: and the daughter of Caleb was Achsah.
50Estes foram os filhos de Calebe, filho de Hur, o primogênito de Efrata: Sobal, pai de Quiriate-Jearim,
50¶ These were the sons of Caleb the son of Hur, the firstborn of Ephratah; Shobal the father of Kirjath-jearim,
51Salma, pai de Belém, e Harefe, pai de Bete-Gader.
51Salma the father of Beth-lehem, Hareph the father of Beth-gader.
52Sobal, pai de Quiriate-Jearim, teve filhos: Haroé e metade dos menuítas.
52And Shobal the father of Kirjath-jearim had sons; Haroeh, and half of the Manahethites.
53As famílias de Quiriate-Jearim: os itritas, os putitas, os sumatitas e os misraítas; destes saíram os zorateus e os estaoleus.
53And the families of Kirjath-jearim; the Ithrites, and the Puhites, and the Shumathites, and the Mishraites; of them came the Zareathites, and the Eshtaulites.
54Os filhos de Salma: Belém, os netofatitas, Atrote-Bete-Joabe, e metade dos manaatitas, os zoritas.
54The sons of Salma; Beth-lehem, and the Netophathites, Ataroth, the house of Joab, and half of the Manahethites, the Zorites.
55As famílias dos escribas que habitavam em Jabez: os tiratitas, os simeatitas e os sucatitas. Estes são os queneus que vieram de Hamate, pai da casa de Recabe.
55And the families of the scribes which dwelt at Jabez; the Tirathites, the Shimeathites, and Suchathites. These are the Kenites that came of Hemath, the father of the house of Rechab.
