Kadede Kap (Pohnpeian New Testament and Psalms)
Douay-Rheims Bible, American Edition (1899)
1IEJUJ kotin majani wei mepukat, ap kotin majanda nanlan majani: Jam ai, anjau o leler, en kalinanada japwilim omui ol pwe japwilim omui ol en pil kalinanada komui.
1These things Jesus spoke, and lifting up his eyes to heaven, he said: Father, the hour is come, glorify thy Son, that thy Son may glorify thee.
2Duen komui kotiki on i er manaman, en poedi uduk karoj, pwe a en ki on karoj, me komui ki on i er, maur joutuk.
2As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he may give eternal life to all whom thou hast given him.
3A iet maur joutuk: Ren aja komui la, me komui ta Kot melel, o Iejuj Krijtuj, me komui kadarador.
3Now this is eternal life: That they may know thee, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.
4I kalinana komui dar nin jappa, I kanikialar dodok, me komui kotiki don ia, I en wiada.
4I have glorified thee on the earth; I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.
5A met Jam ai, kom kotin kalinana kin ia pein omui linan, me I linanakier, ni ai mi re omui, ni jappa jaikenta mia.
5And now glorify thou me, O Father, with thyself, with the glory which I had, before the world was, with thee.
6I kajanjale on aramaj akan mar omui, me komui ki on ia er jan nin jappa. Irail udan noumui, a komui ki on ia er irail; a re kin kapwaiada omui majan.
6I have manifested thy name to the men whom thou hast given me out of the world. Thine they were, and to me thou gavest them; and they have kept thy word.
7A met re ajalar, me karoj, me komui ki on ia er, pwili jan komui.
7Now they have known, that all things which thou hast given me, are from thee:
8A majan akan, me komui ki on ia er, i me I ki on irail er, o irail aleer o wewekilar melel, me I pwarado jan komui, o re pojonlar, me komui kadar ia dor.
8Because the words which thou gavest me, I have given to them; and they have received them, and have known in very deed that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me.
9I kin kapakapa kin ir, I jota kin kapakapa kin jappa, a irail, me komui ki on ia er, pwe noumui irail.
9I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them whom thou hast given me: because they are thine:
10Pwe karoj me ai, iei noumui; a karoj me noumui, iei ai o I linan kin irail lar.
10And all my things are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them.
11I jolar mi jappa, a mepukat mi jappa. I kola re omui. Jam ai jaraui, kanikid irail ni mar omui, me komui ki on ia er, pwe irail en me ta men dueta kita.
11And now I am not in the world, and these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep them in thy name whom thou has given me; that they may be one, as we also are.
12Ni ai mi re irail, I nikid irail er ni mar omui, me komui ki on ia er; I nikid irail er; jota amen ir jalonalar, jeri jalonala eta, pwe kijin likau en pwaida.
12While I was with them, I kept them in thy name. Those whom thou gavest me have I kept; and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition, that the scripture may be fulfilled.
13A met I koko wei re omui. I padaki wei mepukat nan jappa, pwe ai peren unjok en mi re ’rail.
13And now I come to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they may have my joy filled in themselves.
14I ki on irail er omui majan, o jappa kailon kin irail er, pwe irail kaidin kij an jappa, dueta, nai kaidin kijan jappa.
14I have given them thy word, and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world; as I also am not of the world.
15I jota kin poeki, komui en wa irail jan nin jappa, a pwe komui en pera wei jan irail me jued.
15I pray not that thou shouldst take them out of the world, but that thou shouldst keep them from evil.
16Irail kaidin kijan jappa, dueta nai kaidin kijan jappa.
16They are not of the world, as I also am not of the world.
17Kajaraui kin ir ala melel, pwe me melel omui majan.
17Sanctify them in truth. Thy word is truth.
18Duen komui kadar ia don jappa, iduen I kadar ir alan jappa.
18As thou hast sent me into the world, I also have sent them into the world.
19I kajarauila pein nai pweki irail, pwe irail kajaraui kila melel.
19And for them do I sanctify myself, that they also may be sanctified in truth.
20A kaidin mepukat eta, me I kapakapaki, a pil irail, me pan pojon ia pweki arail padak.
20And not for them only do I pray, but for them also who through their word shall believe in me;
21Pwe irail karoj en me ta men, duen komui Jam podidi on ia o nai on komui, pwe irail en pil me ta men re ata, pwe jappa en pojon, me komui kadar ia dor.
21That they all may be one, as thou, Father, in me, and I in thee; that they also may be one in us; that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.
22A linan, me komui ki on ia er, I ki on irail er, pwe irail en me ta men, dueta kita me ta men.
22And the glory which thou hast given me, I have given to them; that they may be one, as we also are one:
23Nai on irail, o komui on ia, pwe re en jon laieu, pwe jappa en aja, me komui kadar ia dor, o pok on irail, dueta komui pok on ia er.
23I in them, and thou in me; that they may be made perfect in one: and the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast also loved me.
24Jam, I men, irail, me komui ki on ia er, en pil mi waja, me I kin mi ia, pwe ren ududial ai linan, me komui ki on ia er, pwe komui pok on ia er mon jappa a tapidar.
24Father, I will that where I am, they also whom thou hast given me may be with me; that they may see my glory which thou hast given me, because thou hast loved me before the creation of the world.
25Jam ai pun, jappa jaja komui, a nai me aja komui, a mepukat ajaer, me komui kadar ia dor.
25Just Father, the world hath not known thee; but I have known thee: and these have known that thou hast sent me.
26O I kajale on irail er mar omui. O I pan pil kajaleda i, pwe limpok ota, me komui poke kin ia er, en podidi on ir o nai on irail.
26And I have made known thy name to them, and will make it known; that the love wherewith thou hast loved me, may be in them, and I in them.
