Men Korint I 5
Kadede Kap (Pohnpeian New Testament and Psalms)
Berean Standard Bible
1I PIL ronadar, me nenek kin wiaui nan pun omail. A eu jon on nenek, me jota kin wiaui ren men liki kan; pwe dene amen paudeki on a papa a paud.
1It is actually reported that there is sexual immorality among you, and of a kind that is intolerable even among pagans: A man has his father’s wife.
2A komail me aklapalap, ap jota injen juedeki o kajapokela jan komail, me wiadar met.
2And you are proud! Shouldn’t you rather have been stricken with grief and have removed from your fellowship the man who did this?
3A ni ai doo jan komail ni pali war, ap koren ion komail ni pali nen i iet me i kapunadar, dueta amen, me mi re omail,
3Although I am absent from you in body, I am present with you in spirit, and I have already pronounced judgment on the one who did this, just as if I were present.
4Ni mar en atail Kaun Iejuj, ni atail pokon pena re omail ni pali nen atail, ki manaman en atail Kaun Iejuj.
4When you are assembled in the name of our Lord Jesus and I am with you in spirit, along with the power of the Lord Jesus,
5Me wiadar met i panalan Jatan, pwen kawela uduk o, pwe nen o en kamaurela ni ran en Kaun Iejuj.
5hand this man over to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, so that his spirit may be saved on the Day of the Lord.
6Kaidin me mau omail juaiki. Komail jota aja, me kalap kij kin kamutala dolepa karoj?
6Your boasting is not good. Do you not know that a little leaven works through the whole batch of dough?
7Ari, kokowei jan kalap kitai, pwe komail en wiala plaua amaj kap, pwe komail udan plaua amaj kap, pwe atail paja Krijtuj kamatalar.
7Get rid of the old leaven, that you may be a new unleavened batch, as you really are. For Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed.
8Kitail ari en wiada atail paja, kaidin ni kalap kitai, pil kaidin ni kalap lemai de me jued, a ni plaua amaj kap ni pun o melel.
8Therefore let us keep the feast, not with the old bread, leavened with malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and of truth.
9Na, i intin won komail er nan kijin likau o, pwe komail ender waroki on me nenek kan.
9I wrote you in my letter not to associate with sexually immoral people.
10Ari mepukat i jota kin inda duen me nenek ren men liki kan, de me norok kapwa, de me lolap akan, de me wun ani, pwe ma idue, komail en katoror wei jan jappa.
10I was not including the sexually immoral of this world, or the greedy and swindlers, or idolaters. In that case you would have to leave this world.
11A met i intin won komail er ender waroki on amen, me adaneki jaulan, ap nenek, de me norok kapwa, de kati ani mal, de lalaue amen, de kamom joko, de me lolap; komail ender ian I mana.
11But now I am writing you not to associate with anyone who claims to be a brother but is sexually immoral or greedy, an idolater or a verbal abuser, a drunkard or a swindler. With such a man do not even eat.
12Pwe menda re i men liki? Kaidin ai dodok en kadeik irail ada. Komail jota kin kadeikada nan pun omail?
12What business of mine is it to judge those outside the church? Are you not to judge those inside?
13A me mi liki ko, Kot pan kotin kajapoke wei jan re omail me jued o!
13God will judge those outside. “Expel the wicked man from among you.”
