1The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.
1Các từng trời rao truyền sự vinh hiển của Đức Chúa Trời, Bầu trời giải tỏ công việc tay Ngài làm.
2Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge.
2Ngày nầy giảng cho ngày kia, Đêm nầy tỏ sự tri thức cho đêm nọ.
3There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard.
3Chẳng có tiếng, chẳng có lời nói; Cũng không ai nghe tiếng của chúng nó.
4Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun,
4Dây đo chúng nó bủa khắp trái đất, Và lời nói chúng nó truyền đến cực địa. Nơi chúng nó Ngài đã đóng trại cho mặt trời;
5Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race.
5Mặt trời khác nào người tân lang ra khỏi phòng huê chúc, Vui mừng chạy đua như người dõng sĩ.
6His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof.
6Mặt trời ra từ phương trời nầy, Chạy vòng giáp đến phương trời kia; Chẳng chi tránh khỏi hơi nóng mặt trời được.
7The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.
7Luật pháp của Đức Giê-hô-va là trọn vẹn, bổ linh hồn lại; Sự chứng cớ Đức Giê-hô-va là chắc chắn, làm cho kẻ ngu dại trở nên khôn ngoan.
8The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes.
8Giềng mối của Đức Giê-hô-va là ngay thẳng, làm cho lòng vui mừng; Điều răn của Đức Giê-hô-va trong sạch, làm cho mắt sáng sủa.
9The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether.
9Sự kính sợ Đức Giê-hô-va là trong sạch, hằng còn đến đời đời; Các mạng lịnh của Đức Giê-hô-va là chân thật, thảy đều công bình cả.
10More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.
10Các điều ấy quí hơn vàng, thật báu hơn vàng ròng; Lại ngọt hơn mật, hơn nước ngọt của tàng ong.
11Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward.
11Các điều ấy dạy cho kẻ tôi tớ Chúa được thông hiểu; Ai gìn giữ lấy, được phần thưởng lớn thay.
12Who can understand his errors? cleanse thou me from secret faults .
12Ai biết được các sự sai lầm mình? Xin Chúa tha các lỗi tôi không biết.
13Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression.
13Xin Chúa giữ kẻ tôi tớ Chúa khỏi cố ý phạm tội; Nguyện tội ấy không cai trị tôi; Thì tôi sẽ không chỗ trách được, và không phạm tội trọng.
14Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD , my strength, and my redeemer.
14Hỡi Đức Giê-hô-va là hòn đá tôi, và là Đấng cứu chuộc tôi, Nguyện lời nói của miệng tôi, Sự suy gẫm của lòng tôi được đẹp ý Ngài!
