1If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.
1Nulia jurana Christungu jela matja jiritjibana, jeruja wontianau mina miri nganai, woderi Christus nganai, Nauja Godaia ngunarani ngamala wapaia.
2Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
2Nunkangu jigleri ngananau, mina miri nganai, ja wata nunkangu, mina mitani nganai.
3For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.
3Ngangau jura matja palina, ja tepi jurani kurukuru nganai Christungunto Godani.
4When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.
4Christus, tepi juranina, matja wondraterina warai, ngadani bakana jura nunkangu jela wondraterila nganai pirnalani.
5Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:
5Jurani buru, tana mitani nganai, nari nandranau: Palakantji, murumuru, jertapaterina madlentji, milkirina madlentji, ngukingukipaterina nauja nganai muramurani wodatarana ngamana,
6For which things’ sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience:
6Tanangundru Godaia tirila delkinietjaia ngatamurani wokarai,
7In the which ye also walked some time, when ye lived in them.
7Tanangupini bakana jura warula wirarina wonti, jura tanangu matja ngamana.
8But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth.
8Karari bakana jura jenia pratjana woranau: Tiri, tirijiritjini, kuterini, ngirkibani, jaura madlentji jurani manandru.
9Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;
9Wata jedibijiribamalianau, ja kana womala dukaranimai nunkani ngankananto,
10And have put on the new man , which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:
10Ja kana marra widmaterianau, ninaia Nulia marraribai ngujamanaia, nunkani pantjimanipirnaia mudlani jeribaka;
11Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all.
11Jeruja wata morla nganai Grieka kana ja Juda kana, ja karuwalila, ja karuwalila pani, ja tula, ja Skytha, ja mili, ja kurakanila, a‐ai, warupoto warupotuni Christus. (Dakani jaura G. D. 5 Epiphanias.)
12Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;
12Jeruja widmaterianau Godaia kalkalkani ja kulikiri ja ngantjalu jeribaka: Ngarali kalumiltjamiltjarina, ngumu, waka ngundraterina, malti, manju;
13Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.
13Kulnukulnuni ngankijiribamalianimai ja worijiribamalianimai, kulnujeli kulnuni ngulku ngamalkanani; worderu Christulu madlentji jurani worana wonti, jeruja bakana jura.
14And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.
14Nunkangu pratjanani widmaterianimai ngantjana, ngangau nauja manamiria kuma nganai.
15And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.
15Ja Godaia murla jurangu ngarani kapara nganaiatimai, nunkangupini jura matja karkana palku kulnuni; ja jurakokanali manamiri pantjianau.
16Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
16Christuni jaura poto pirna jurangu nganaiatimai, ja munta ngujangujara jinkimalianimai ja kurukurubijiribamalianimai kiri pratjanani, Psalma wimali ja jurakokani wimali, ja Jaolaia wimali murlali Kaparani wonkanau jurani ngarani.
17And what soever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
17Ja pratjana, mina jura ngankai, jaurali kara ngankanali kara, jenia pratjana ngankanau Kaparaia Jesuni talani, ja jurakokanau Goda ja Ngaperi nunkangundru.
18Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as it is fit in the Lord.
18Jura widla worajai, materani juranani wodatarana ngamanau, worderu talku nganai Kaparani.
19Husbands, love your wives, and be not bitter against them.
19Jura materi worajai, widla jurani ngantjanau, ja wata kaldri tanangu pantjianau.
20Children, obey your parents in all things: for this is well pleasing unto the Lord.
20Jura kupa worajai, ngaperani ja ngandrini pankianau warupotuni, ngangau jenia Kaparali ngantjai.
21Fathers, provoke not your children to anger , lest they be discouraged.
21Jura ngaperi worajai, jurani kupa wata tirijiritjibanau, tana wata wurpuru pantjinanto.
22Servants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh; not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but in singleness of heart, fearing God:
22Jura mili worajai, jurani palkuja Kaparani pankianau warupotuni, wata milki kantjini kana windri murlali ngankala jeribaka, a‐ai, ngara kulnukulnuni ngundranali, Godandru japali.
23And what soever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;
23Ja pratjana, mina jura ngankai, jenia ngarali ngankanau Kaparani ja wata kanani,
24Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.
24Ngangau jura milkila, jura Kaparandru maratunkaia kalala manila nganai; Kapara Christungu ngamanau!
25But he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done: and there is no respect of persons.
25Warle tjikatjika ngankai, nulu manila nganai, mina tjikatjika nulu ngankana warai, ja kana mudla Nulia wata ngundrai.
