Baibal Olcim (Matupi Chin)
King James Version with Apocrypha
1Vaan ram tah imkung hlang pakhat phek la om. Anih tah a misurdum kah bibikung coep ham yue cet .
1For the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which went out early in the morning to hire labourers into his vineyard.
2Te vaengah bibikung rhoek neh hnin at ham denarii pakhat neh a kotluep tih amih te a misurdum la a tueih .
2And when he had agreed with the labourers for a penny a day, he sent them into his vineyard.
3Khonoek pathum tlukah a caeh hatah hnoyoih hmuen ah pai uh tih aka palyal rhoek te a hmuh .
3And he went out about the third hour, and saw others standing idle in the marketplace,
4Te dongah te rhoek te , “ Nangmih khaw misurdum la cet uh lamtah a dueng la aka om te tah nangmih te kam paek bitni,” a ti nah .
4And said unto them; Go ye also into the vineyard, and whatsoever is right I will give you. And they went their way.
5Te dongah te rhoek khaw cet uh.Te phoeiah khonoek parhuk neh pako tluk ah khaw cet tih koep a tlap bal .
5Again he went out about the sixth and ninth hour, and did likewise.
6Hlaikhat tluk kah a caeh vaengah a tloe rhoek sut aka pai rhoek te a hmuh. Te dongah amih te , “ Balae tih sut na pai uh tih khohnin yung ah na palyal uh he? ” a ti nah .
6And about the eleventh hour he went out, and found others standing idle, and saith unto them, Why stand ye here all the day idle?
7Te vaengah amah te , “ Kaimih he n'coep uh moenih,” a ti nah uh. Te dongah amih te , “ Nangmih khaw misurdum la cet uh saw,” a ti nah .
7They say unto him, Because no man hath hired us. He saith unto them, Go ye also into the vineyard; and whatsoever is right, that shall ye receive.
8Hlaem ben a pha vaengah misurdum boei loh a dumtawt taengah , “ Bibikung rhoek te khue lamtah lamhnuk rhoek lamkah tong lamtah lamhma duela amih te thapang thuung laeh,” a ti nah .
8So when even was come, the lord of the vineyard saith unto his steward, Call the labourers, and give them their hire, beginning from the last unto the first.
9Khonoek hlaikhat tluk kah aka pawk rhoek khaw denarii pakhat rhip a dang uh .
9And when they came that were hired about the eleventh hour, they received every man a penny.
10Lamhma la aka pawk rhoek loh muep a dang uh ni tila a poek uh. Tedae amih khaw denari pakhat ni rhip a dang uh .
10But when the first came, they supposed that they should have received more; and they likewise received every man a penny.
11Te tla aka dang rhoek loh imkung taengah kohuet uh .
11And when they had received it , they murmured against the goodman of the house,
12Te dongah “ He rhoek a lamhnuk rhoek tah khonoek pakhat ni a bi uh dae, hnin at puet kholing hnorhih aka ueh kaimih neh amih te vanat la na khueh,” a ti na uh .
12Saying, These last have wrought but one hour, and thou hast made them equal unto us, which have borne the burden and heat of the day.
13Tedae amih te pakhat la a doo tih , ' Pueivan aw nang kan thae nah moenih, kai neh denarii pakhat ham kotluep a om moenih a?
13But he answered one of them, and said, Friend, I do thee no wrong: didst not thou agree with me for a penny?
14Namah kah te lo lamtah cet laeh. Nang bangla lamhnuk te khaw paek ka ngaih .
14Take that thine is , and go thy way: I will give unto this last, even as unto thee.
15Kamah koe nen te ka ngaih bangla ka saii tueng moenih a? Kai a then la ka om te nang kah mik loh a lolh la a om sak a? ' a ti nah .
15Is it not lawful for me to do what I will with mine own? Is thine eye evil, because I am good?
16Te dongah lamhnuk te lamhma vetih lamhma te lamhnuk la om ni,” a ti nah.
16So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen.
17Jesuh loh hnukbang hlainit rhoek te hloep a khue tih Jerusalem la cet.
17¶ And Jesus going up to Jerusalem took the twelve disciples apart in the way, and said unto them,
18A longpueng uh vaengah amih te, “Jerusalem la cet uh pawn sih. Hlang capa tah khosoihham rhoek neh cadaek rhoek taengla a voeih uh vetih anih te dueknah neh a boe sak uh ni he .
18Behold, we go up to Jerusalem; and the Son of man shall be betrayed unto the chief priests and unto the scribes, and they shall condemn him to death,
19Te phoeiah tamdaeng ham neh boh tih tai hamla namtom rhoek taengah a voeih uh ni. Tedae a thum hnin ah koep thoo ni ,” a ti nah.
19And shall deliver him to the Gentiles to mock, and to scourge, and to crucify him : and the third day he shall rise again.
20Te vaengah Zebedee ca rhoek kah a manu loh a ca rhoek te Jesuh a paan puei tih a bawk. Tedae a taengkah hno pakhat a bih.
20¶ Then came to him the mother of Zebedee’s children with her sons, worshipping him , and desiring a certain thing of him.
21Jesuh loh anih te, “Balae na ngaih,” a ti nah. Te vaengah, “Ka ca rhoi he na ram ah tah na bantang ah pakhat na banvoei ah pakhat ngol rhoi saeh ti mai laeh,” a ti nah.
21And he said unto her, What wilt thou? She saith unto him, Grant that these my two sons may sit, the one on thy right hand, and the other on the left, in thy kingdom.
22But Jesus answered and said, Ye know not what ye ask. Are ye able to drink of the cup that I shall drink of, and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with? They say unto him, We are able.
23Jesuh loh amih te, “ Kai kah boengloeng he na ok uh ngawn ni. Tedae kai kah bantang neh banvoei ah ngol ham tah kai hut la om pawh. Tedae a pa loh a hmoel rhoek ni tekah te a paek eh,” a ti nah.
23And he saith unto them, Ye shall drink indeed of my cup, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with: but to sit on my right hand, and on my left, is not mine to give, but it shall be given to them for whom it is prepared of my Father.
24Parha rhoek loh a yaak uh vaengah te rhoi boeina kawng te a yakdam uh.
24And when the ten heard it , they were moved with indignation against the two brethren.
25Tedae Jesuh loh amih te a khue tih, “ Namtom rhoek kah boei rhoek tah amamih vueinan uh tih a len rhoek loh amamih a huttet uh thae te na ming .
25But Jesus called them unto him , and said, Ye know that the princes of the Gentiles exercise dominion over them, and they that are great exercise authority upon them.
26Nangmih khuiah tetlam te om uh boeh. Tedae, Nangmih khuiah a len la om aka ngaih te tah nangmih kah tueihyoeih la om ni .
26But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister;
27Te phoeiah nangmih khuiah lamhma la om ham aka ngaih te tah nangmih kah sal la om ni .
27And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant:
28Hlang Capa tah hlang thohtat sak ham pawt tih thohtat pah ham neh a hinglu te ping kah tlansum la paek ham ni halo,” a ti nah.
28Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.
29Amih te Jerikho lamloh a khong uh vaengah Jesuh te hlangping loh muep a vai.
29And as they departed from Jericho, a great multitude followed him.
30Te vaengah mikdael panit long taengah ngol rhoi. Jesuh kah a khum te a yaak rhoi vaengah pang rhoi tih, “Boeipa, David Capa, kaimih rhoi he n'rhen lah,” a ti rhoi.
30¶ And, behold, two blind men sitting by the way side, when they heard that Jesus passed by, cried out, saying, Have mercy on us, O Lord, thou Son of David.
31Tedae hlangping loh amih rhoi te a ho tih a paa sak. Te vaengah te rhoi te taoe pang rhoi tih, “Boeipa, David Capa kaimih rhoi he n'rhen lah,” a ti rhoi.
31And the multitude rebuked them, because they should hold their peace: but they cried the more, saying, Have mercy on us, O Lord, thou Son of David.
32Te vaengah Jesuh tah pai tih amih rhoi te a khue. Te phoeiah, “ Nangmih rhoi ham balae saii sak na ngaih rhoi,” a ti nah.
32And Jesus stood still, and called them, and said, What will ye that I shall do unto you?
33Te dongah, “Boeipa, kaimih rhoi mik tah tueng lah saeh,” a ti rhoi.
33They say unto him, Lord, that our eyes may be opened.
34Jesuh tah a thinphat tih amih rhoi mik te a taek pah. Te vaengah tlek a hmuh rhoi tih Jesuh hnuk a vai rhoi.
34So Jesus had compassion on them , and touched their eyes: and immediately their eyes received sight, and they followed him.
