32ils remplirent les fonctions de chantres devant le tabernacle, devant la tente d’assignation, jusqu’à ce que Salomon eût bâti la maison de l’Éternel à Jérusalem, et ils faisaient leur service d’après la règle qui leur était prescrite.
32And they ministered before the tabernacle of the testimony, with singing, until Solomon built the house of the Lord in Jerusalem, and they stood according to their order in the ministry.
33Voici ceux qui officiaient avec leurs fils. D’entre les fils des Kehathites: Héman, le chantre, fils de Joël, fils de Samuel,
33And these are they that stood with their sons, of the sons of Caath, Hemam a singer, the son of Joel, the son of Sammuel,

49Aaron et ses fils offraient les sacrifices sur l’autel des holocaustes et l’encens sur l’autel des parfums, ils remplissaient toutes les fonctions dans le lieu très saint, et faisaient l’expiation pour Israël, selon tout ce qu’avait ordonné Moïse, serviteur de Dieu.
49But Aaron and his sons offered burnt offerings upon the altar of holocausts, and upon the altar of incense, for very work of the holy of holies: and to pray for Israel according to all that Moses the servant of God had commanded.
50Voici les fils d’Aaron: Éléazar, son fils; Phinées, son fils: Abischua, son fils;
50And these are the sons of Aaron: Eleazar his son, Phinees his son, Abisue his son,
51Bukki, son fils; Uzzi, son fils; Zerachja, son fils;

54Voici leurs habitations, selon leurs enclos, dans les limites qui leur furent assignées. Aux fils d’Aaron de la famille des Kehathites, indiqués les premiers par le sort,
54And these are their dwelling places by the towns and confines, to wit, of the sons of Aaron, of the families of the Caathites: for they fell to them by lot.
55on donna Hébron, dans le pays de Juda, et la banlieue qui l’entoure;
55And they gave them Hebron in the land of Juda, and the suburbs thereof round about:
56mais le territoire de la ville et ses villages furent accordés à Caleb, fils de Jephunné.
56But the fields of the city, and the villages to Caleb son of Jephone.
57Aux fils d’Aaron on donna la ville de refuge Hébron, Libna et sa banlieue, Jatthir, Eschthemoa et sa banlieue,
57And to the sons of Aaron they gave the cities for refuge Hebron, and Lobna, and the suburbs thereof,
58Hilen et sa banlieue, Debir et sa banlieue,
58And Jether and Esthemo, with their suburbs, and Helon, and Dabir with their suburbs:
59Aschan et sa banlieue, Beth-Schémesch et sa banlieue;
59Asan also, and Bethsames, with their suburbs.
60et de la tribu de Benjamin, Guéba et sa banlieue, Allémeth et sa banlieue, Anathoth et sa banlieue. Total de leurs villes: treize villes, d’après leurs familles.
60And out of the tribe of Benjamin: Gabee and its suburbs, Almath with its suburbs, Anathoth also with its suburbs: all their cities throughout their families were thirteen.
61Les autres fils de Kehath eurent par le sort dix villes des familles de la tribu d’Éphraïm, de la tribu de Dan et de la demi-tribu de Manassé.
61And to the sons of Caath that remained of their kindred they gave out of the half tribe of Manasses ten cities in possession.
62Les fils de Guerschom, d’après leurs familles, eurent treize villes de la tribu d’Issacar, de la tribu d’Aser, de la tribu de Nephthali et de la tribu de Manassé en Basan.
62And to the sons of Gerson by their families out of the tribe of Issachar, and out of the tribe of Aser, and out of the tribe of Nephtali, and out of the tribe of Manasses in Basan, thirteen cities.
63Les fils de Merari, d’après leurs familles, eurent par le sort douze villes de la tribu de Ruben, de la tribu de Gad et de la tribu de Zabulon.
63And to the sons of Merari by their families out of the tribe of Ruben, and out of the tribe of Gad, and out of the tribe of Zabulon, they gave by lot twelve cities.
64Les enfants d’Israël donnèrent aux Lévites les villes et leurs banlieues.
64And the children of Israel gave to the Levites the cities, and their suburbs.
65Ils donnèrent par le sort, de la tribu des fils de Juda, de la tribu des fils de Siméon et de la tribu des fils de Benjamin, ces villes qu’ils désignèrent nominativement.
65And they gave them by lot, out of the tribe of the sons of Juda, and out of the tribe of the sons of Simeon, and out of the tribe of the sons of Benjamin, these cities which they called by their names.
66Et pour les autres familles des fils de Kehath les villes de leur territoire furent de la tribu d’Éphraïm.
66And to them that were of the kindred of the sons of Caath, and the cities in their borders were of the tribe of Ephraim.
67Ils leur donnèrent la ville de refuge Sichem et sa banlieue, dans la montagne d’Éphraïm, Guézer et sa banlieue,
67And they gave the cities of refuge Sichem with its suburbs in mount Ephraim, and Gazer with its suburbs,
68Jokmeam et sa banlieue, Beth-Horon et sa banlieue,
68Jecmaan also with its suburbs, and Beth-horon in like manner,
69Ajalon et sa banlieue, et Gath-Rimmon et sa banlieue;
69Helon also with its suburbs, and Gethremmon in like manner,
70et de la demi-tribu de Manassé, Aner et sa banlieue, et Bileam et sa banlieue, pour la famille des autres fils de Kehath.
70And out of the half tribe of Manasses, Aner and its suburbs, Baalam and its suburbs: to wit, to them that were left of the family of the sons of Caath.
71On donna aux fils de Guerschom: de la famille de la demi-tribu de Manassé, Golan en Basan et sa banlieue, et Aschtaroth et sa banlieue;
71And to the sons of Gersom, out of the kindred of the half tribe of Manasses, Gaulon, in Basan, and its suburbs, and Astharoth with its suburbs.

72Out of the tribe of Issachar, Cedes and its suburbs, and Dabereth with its suburbs;

77On donna au reste des Lévites, aux fils de Merari: de la tribu de Zabulon, Rimmono et sa banlieue, et Thabor et sa banlieue;
77And to the sons of Merari that remained: out of the tribe of Zabulon, Remmono and its suburbs, and Thabor with its suburbs.
78et de l’autre côté du Jourdain, vis-à-vis de Jéricho, à l’orient du Jourdain: de la tribu de Ruben, Betser au désert et sa banlieue, Jahtsa et sa banlieue,
78Beyond the Jordan also over against Jericho, on the east side of the Jordan, out of the tribe of Ruben, Bosor in the wilderness with its suburbs, and Jassa with its suburbs;
79Kedémoth et sa banlieue, et Méphaath et sa banlieue;
79Cademoth also and its suburbs, and Mephaath with its suburbs;
80et de la tribu de Gad, Ramoth en Galaad et sa banlieue, Mahanaïm et sa banlieue,
